Gary Johnson on C-SPAN today (Great interview)Submitted by pawnstorm12 on Mon, 10/01/2012 - 17:58
While I was struggling with the idea of writing in Dr. Paul in November, I've made up my mind now to vote for Gary Johnson.
His interview on C-SPAN today was wonderful.
Here is a link:
He nailed every subject that was brought up to him and he should be allowed into those presidential debates.
I find Johnson to be consistent regarding liberty and he is fully qualified to be the Libertarian candidate for president.
One good line he used today was regarding a question of a "wasted vote" if people voted for him.
He said since there is no appreciable difference between Romney and Obama, a vote for either of them is actually the wasted vote.
Then he invited everyone to "waste" their vote on him and he would be the next president of the United States.
Ron Paul was mentioned several times over the course of this interview.
I agree with Dr. Paul when he said a few weeks ago the Gary Johnson is a wonderful candidate who everyone should take a look at.
Let's remember that no party or candidate is absolutely perfect, but the Libertarians are as close to the cause for liberty as any other choice we have this year.
Therefore I plan on voting for Gary Johnson in November as the only viable protest against the corrupt 2-party stranglehold on the American political process.
And I have a feeling Dr. Paul will be voting for the Libertarians this year as well.
I think he would have supported the Libertarian candidate Bob Barr in 2008, but Barr let him down after promising to appear at the National Press Club meeting but then disrespected Dr. Paul by never showing up.
