New York State Write In for Ron Paul-update

Hello Everyone,

Getting votes to count at the New York State Board of Elections for those wanting to write-in in Ron Paul is being cancelled.

We feel that we would have to have electors that reside from the whole of the state instead of just one area, to display community and therefore validity.

We sent out emails to meetup groups across the state and did not receive replies. We consider this non-communication as the constituents not wanting to participate.

A disappointment

Thank you for trying. At our last meetup in Westchester, our leader didn't mention your attempt so either he never got it, or he expressed his support. I most definitely wanted to vote for RP in NYS, but looks like I will have to go with GJ. As far as I am concerned, the more people who vote outside of the 2 parties' chosen nominees, the better.

in some major cities in NYS and received no reply.

I sent out emails to some RP supporters and received no reply.

My gut instinct, is that these folks are going to go Gary Johnson. It is disappointing since some of these people were eithe C4L coordinators and/or RP slated delegates or activists.

A response would have been appropriate. The NYS Liberty Movement is very fragmented and I do not have answers for a solution. We have tried reaching out to other groups across NYS over the last two years and there has been no positive results.

We were willing to have the all elector paperwork notarized and if RP signed, we would have drove and submitted to the NYBOE in Albany.

I have asked for a absentee ballot as instructed by WIR. I plan to write in Ron Paul when I receive the ballot.

I was told on the phone by the BOE that write-ins

for a non-validated candidate are thrown out.

I will contact again to verify that or are they counted as "Other".
