You Gotta Be Kidding Me

You gotta be kidding me:

"A majority of voters want one party to control Congress and the White House next year, according to a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News Poll, a remarkable opinion shift that suggests deep frustration with Washington gridlock."

http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2012/10/02/wsjnbc-poll-majorit...

Gridlock is the only thing that will save us now, all things considered.

Wanna Make a bet

Starting now, you will see a ton of articles and newscasts trying to depict this as a very close race. They will all pitch in and try to get more suckers to watch the "debate" so they can sell drugs or insurance or whatever it is Wall Street is pushing this week. There will be little or no mention of the fact that the race will be decided in a few key states. Everybody must watch - now go watch.

I call total bullship

These polls conducted mostly online are simply a product of bullship. We know for a fact that there are armies of security personnel with millions of bot programs that try to shape opinion for media spin.

This must be in response to all the noise being made

about a third party trying to become included in the debates.

Excellent posit, egapele.

Excellent posit, egapele.

Besides that I think these reports are bunk, I believe they were created for the reason you just stated, an answer to third party talk, an open door to talk about and implement centralization of politics now or -- later.

Capitalism that isn't capitalism is what we see here. They've been doing it for an eon. Capitalize off something projecting to the populace. This capitalization, a deception, is for control, a process known as hoodwinking whose result of course isn't necessarily control but is harm.

I know what I'm about to say is going to upset many a DPer, but that's what the gold standard issue is, a hoodwink worldwide. On a thread recently, a DPer said to me glowingly, gold already is worldwide. *sigh* (The irony, a very sad, frustrating irony.)

In the comment of mine he replied to or a different comment of mine in that thread, I said many DPers miss the obvious on the gold issue. (See "sigh," above.) Although I said then I'd not write about the gold issue unless in reply to a comment I agree with, I think someday I'll write a post on the gold standard. I'll address issues that, after all the debates on the DP, still haven't been answered. They're unanswered because the common man, you and I the DPer, doesn't have their answers. No one except a scarce few people anywhere have their answers. That exception is an argument I'd make for sovereign currency, which as far as I assume we freedom professing Americans should want. Don't we want a sovereign US currency? Yes or no, no being an international currency, a currency the American -- and everyone in every country -- would be subject to, a wiping away of borders, a wiping away of countries.

Think about it

It couldn't be any other way. If the average person understood the real causes of our current situation we probably wouldn't be in this situation to begin with. With things so screwed up in this country people are starting to think that the problem is that our politicians can't agree on stuff. The problem is that some want big government to move in one direction and some want big government to move in another direction. They both think that the direction they want is the solution. What they don't understand is that big government *is* the problem.

Of course...

Of course...

You're only stating the obvious for us, Liberty lovers, who can use their brain to read History, while the sheeple is ignoring it, pushing everybody on the way to the slaughterhouse.

Our duty and challenge here and now :

wake them up before we're all in trapped in there.

The worst part

These dimwits had their wish granted years ago and don't even realize it. The democrats and the republicans had a merger sometime before I was born. They have different rhetoric but the same crappy voting records.

Whenever someone complains about gridlock in congress, I feel like asking them "So, which of my freedoms do you hate the most?"

+1 Right on.

+1 Right on.

Astonishing how those, if they really exist that many, have been eating for decades the same cr.a.p as they are asking to come for "a change" now.

I guess their nose is really numb.

Yes, I think someone must be trying to pull our leg

Yes, I think someone must be trying to pull our leg, thru that poll.

People can't be THAT MUCH RETARDED... already.

I can't believe it, anyway.

And for once, I TRULY hope I'm right !

Like the Israelis, the people

Like the Israelis, the people want a King. They do not want freedom and they reject God the giver of freedom.

its not just the Isrealis...

the people have longed for a King since The Roman Republic. People WANTED Julius Ceasar to be King. It was the rich property owners who were allowed to be Senators that did not like that idea. The general population were very happy with Julius Ceasar and did in fact call him King at one point.

This is OLD OLD OLD stuff. People just want to live. Most do not want to rule anything...they are happy to leave it to someone who WANTS to rule.

I am just amazed...

I am just amazed by some of the opinions "people" that I have met online have - but luckily, I haven't met people like this in real life. People in real life seem to be much closer to intelligent and thoughtful which is good news and maybe these online "people" aren't real or are just one person trolling as many people. I have a hard time believing people think Romney or Obama would be a good president for the US. I am making it my mission to help educate people so they know what these two really represent.

More centralization

You know, there should come a time in each individual where he thinks: Too much is going on and almost always its form is centralization, and because it is and based on my interactions with people, that our interactions are individualistic, not only do I disbelieve these "new reports," I oppose them. I oppose them because I think instead of engaging in thinking's subordinate and, often nowadays, its antithesis -- consulting someone or something someone wrote to tell me What Is.

These articles are bunk, a flatout lie.

VU, in case it's difficult to detect what my frustration is directed to, it's at the Wall Street Journal and the media, not you.

Then to slow government down...

...you just need to vote one party for president and the other party for congress. Then, they have to meet somewhere in the middle....

Gridlock Is Good

"The Constitution, with its system of checks and balances, not only allows for gridlock, it practically guarantees some degree of it. The founders knew that gridlock can be a very good thing. If nothing can be agreed upon in Washington, harm to the country is limited."--Ron Paul

OOoooooo, a majority of voters!

Better hurry up and join the herd, do what the "majority" says, thinks, and does. Don't want to deviate from the herd, monsters be out there!!! How lucky for us that "we" have this helpful media to tell us what everyone else is doing so we can know what to do!
