Boycott Presidential Debate

Join us in a boycott of the Presidential Debate tonight. Excluding third-party candidates, like Gary Johnson from a Presidential debate is un-American, un-Democratic and undermines our very system of government.

Join me along with others in a world-wide boycott of the Presidential debate tonight. Unless they let Gary Johnson debate, boycott all the networks and livestreams that carry the coverage!

I will also post a link on http://www.libertynorth.org to make it easy to link to the Facebook event.

No matter what candidate you support, this can not stand. Our country was founded on the principal of freedom of speech for all. It is an abomination if we let this happen and don't do anything.

Boycott or not, I'm not watching it. I have no interest in listening to obam-NEY when I could be doing more important things like picking lint from between my toes.

Nothing can be said that will change my mind from writing in Ron Paul.

Boom! I'm one of 6 people so

Boom! I'm one of 6 people so far to join the non-Facebook boycott! That ought to send a message!

I feel kinda torn about this.

I know everything they say or talk about will more than likely be garbage, distortions of the truth, or they'll just talk about how this and that is bad but they'll never say how they plan on doing anything about it; which is why I don't want to watch. However, I'd still like to know what they talk about. If at least refute and use as ammunition when educating the sheep.

I agree that the debates should be all inclusive and have many points of view contributing to the arguments (or agreements) but, is boycotting and ignoring the debate really the way to change how the debate is done?

All I know is, if someone walks up to me and asks "Wasn't the debate wonderful? Didn't *insert name here* destroy *insert name here*?", I'd like to be able to tell them how they were both wrong (if applicable).

If ignorance is bliss, Washington DC must be heaven.

It's like driving by a really bad traffic accident. Part of you doesn't want to look, but you just can't help yourself.

I'd Rather Watch Two Hand Puppets Going At It

...then spend any time watching a travesty of democracy in action.

Isn't that what it was?

I contacted We Are Change and Occupy the Debates...

and urged them to use picket lines and flash mobs to prevent the debates if Gary Johnson and Jill Stein were not invited.

If I were the Presidential Debate Commission, I would give in, because a federal injunction would establish precedent which could require all third party candidates on enough state ballots to theoretically win be automatically invited to all future debates. Whereas, if the Presidential Debate Commission simply invites Governor Johnson and Dr. Stein, it would still have the power to bar third party candidates in the future.

HA! Don't worry--

no TV here--

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

Watch the AL baseball finale.

AL East
New York Yankees 94-67 - play Boston Red Sox for their last game
Baltimore Orioles 93-68 - play Tampa Bay Rays for their last game

AL Central
Detroit Tigers clinched their division

AL West
Texas Rangers 93-68 - play Oakland A's for their last game
Oakland A's 93-68 - play Texas Rangers for their last game

It's basically playoff baseball before the playoffs begin. Much better television than the 'Presidential Agreements' tonight.

Go Astros! No, literally Go

Go Astros! No, literally Go Astros, as in go to another F-ing town. After Bud Selig and Jim Crane and McLane sold the team down the river no one in Houston gives a flip about them. Could be worse, we could be the Pirates.

What if no one watched?

Remember when Peeta Malark said that in the Hunger Games? "What if no one watched the Hunger Games, that would show them!"

Nice idea, but its not going to happen. People can't help but watch.
