Romney is kicking Obama's A* and I hate Romney but I gotta tell it like it is

Romney : "I have been in business or 25 years and I have no idea what you are talking about"

Funny

Honest Romney is crushing Obama and I'm no Romney fan.

What they didn't talk about...

...how could there be a debate on the economy without mentioning who they would choose as Fed chairman (should they leave the Fed intact, that is - which they both will obviously do), QE and sound money. Nope, instead it's Romney promising to cut waste and Obama promising to tax higher income earners.

Correct

Romney wins on style points. To be honest, Obama looked painfully bad. Neither of them really did much in the way of adressing issues though. I heard this morning that a vcompilation of three different fact checking groups reported 70% of what was said was either outright lies, or severly twisted. Both were similarly dishonest. I must say it was a little fun to watch Obama getting a whuppin as I am no fan of his, then again I might have been a little tips after playing the "Jobs" drinking game in the first segment. After a few beers everything becomes more entertaining....

CNBC Showed Polls In Swing States After The Debates

Maybe it was intrade actually. And Obama was crushing Romney in 2 swing states (70% to 30%) and beating him handily (like 60% to 40%) in another. I think it was Florida, Ohio and West Virginia.

In other words, Obama is still a big favorite.

doubt it was WV...

Obama don't like coal...

If you play along w/ all the BS then Romney won

By the BS I mean believing that Romney's big government programs will be an improvement on Obama's big government programs ("repeal and replace"). The one line from Romney that was especially sickening to me (though I might b fuzzy on the details) as being especially egregious was when he said (paraphrasing) "look behind us, it's the constitution. It's my job to defend and protect it" and then talked about how interpreted the right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness as saving Medicare (something like that). I'd be surprised if Schiff doesn't talk about that one today.

I agree with the OP re Romney

This isn't about which candidate has the better programs (if there's any difference between them at all). It's simply about who won the debate, i.e., who APPEARED to be smarter on the issues and have the better policies. I'd be curious to see who conducted those polls you referred to above. Among CNN's own (left-leaning) viewers, it wasn't even close: 58% Romney, 37% Obama.

The debate was awful. It was

The debate was awful. It was like they were trying to sell us these two empty suits actually think different, when they agree on all the major issues.

The moderator was terrible. The moderator is not only supposed to regulate time, but he is the referee and has to make sure both sides are being honest. When they lie or distort, he needs to follow up quickly and hold their feet to the fire.

Romney continues his walk back on Obamacare. He has said he thought it was a compliment to be called its grandfather a while back. Now, he says he likes big parts of it. Let's also remember, he used government force at the state level and it was just as wrong there as it is at the national level. All levels of government are supposed to preserve our natural rights, not tread on them by forcing someone to do something they don't want to.

There was not one question on monetary policy, trade, liberty or a number of other issues.

Bottom line - these debates are for the stupid citizens who have just tuned in or have just put their Obama or Romney sign out a couple of months ago. They vote for president, then go away for about four years.

He "crushed" Obama because he was scripted to.

Obama was too slow. Romney has indicated that he is willing to initiate WW3. The Zionists already have their winner.

I hope...

...you're wrong but I'm afraid you're right.

I heard a Christian minister yesterday say he thought this whole war on terror thing is a direct result of faulty, unbiblical theology -- that it has many people hoping and pushing for an Armageddon because they believe that it will bring about the rapture (also unbiblical) and the return of Christ. They're the biggest Zionist voting bloc by far, of course.

Shows how important it is to be a Berean!

If People Are Not Happy With Obama: Careful With Romney.

If People Are Not Happy With Obama: Be Very Careful With Romney.

I ONLY SUPPORT RON PAUL.

However: At the very least Obama has shown restraint on not giving Israel the go-ahead to drop nuclear bombs on the people of Iran.

Romney has criticized Obama on moving "too slow" on starting yet another war which - I don't even want to think about it - could result in World War 3.

Mitt Romney is truly dangerous.

I want Ron Paul as President. Write In. We'll see what happens.

A Third Party Candidate does not stand a chance. Too late.

Worse comes to worse, I would rather deal with another 4 years of Obama than the possibility of ONE DAY - or 4 or 8 years with Romney.

Any Presidential Candidate that runs on a Pro-War Platform should be shunned and immediately disqualified.

We and The World have had more than enough.

Wisdom Strategies

I have been thinking...

...the exact same thing for quite a while now!

If Romney isn't using a telepromter I'll......

Confess he didn't use one... lol

Chill

It's all scripted. This is exactly how it was supposed to be perceived by the very few that actually tuned in tonight. Romney will get his little bounce and the advertisers will go whopee. Just hold your horses. Obama has 40 IQ points on this guy, more to come, you'll see.

Really? Wow!

Really? Wow!

Polls

Polls agree:

If I were in a swing state I'd vote for Romney.

haha!

It's easy to fall for the reality show...was well scripted and executed.

Don't forget the corruption behind it, and certainly don't fall for the baseless lies and promises.

But yeah, it looks like they are structuring it for a romney win, then uh oh.....say hello to WWIII. Maybe romney will be the one to help criple the country worse so that he can be the hero to bring her back to her knees, and lead her in a new peaceful world order.

I don't know, I kind of like my country and for which it stands. How come we can only choose from the bank and corporate owned candidates???? Federal reserve lackeys...

I am still bummed that RP couldn't be the one up there

He was sorely missed. But even Romney, as bad as he is, was still better than Obama during the debate. Just wish he had something to actually offer--of course there was no talk of the Fed :-(

egapele's picture

Great. take it to The Daily Romney or The Daily Obama.

I'd love to go there and read up.

I saw a poll

Romney-55%, Obama-38%.

I had no clue what they were

I had no clue what they were talking about.. bunch of gibberish..

If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...

they were talking about

how to save and spend money that doesn't exist... ie gibberish...

money

what money?
no money here!

Yep

...in the land where decreases in the rate of increase of future spending are considered spending cuts, one of these idiots will be king.

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

i've been hating romney's guts since

before it was cool just like everyone else here but i watched the full debate and romney was straight forward and kicked bin ladens azz...if he wouldnt have cheated ron paul out of the nomination and just won fair and square i might have voted for him...

I kind of watched the debate

I kind of watched the debate but I could not understand what they were talking about. Romney had good body language so I guess that means he is the winner. By the way the moderator was annihilated by both Obama and Romney, he really had no chance from the beginning.

LOL, yea...

...I don't know which of the sockpuppets won, but the moderator definitely lost.

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

A bunch of us were...

...watching it in a restaurant and everyone was laughing at Obama because nothing he was saying was making any sense what so ever. He really was horrible. Guess he is just used to his teleprompter!

It's scripted and I won't vote for either progressive candidate

but Romney pummeled Obam-uh in that debate.
