Should Obama Do Another Cash For Clunkers to Stimulate the Economy?

(attn down-votin' haters - this is 1% satire 99% serious discussion so vote accordingly)

I read a story today on DP about a guy that bought a $25,000 car with $1000 worth of pre-1965 quarters (the 90% silver kind). He mentioned that the car he decided to buy was already discounted deeply, due he felt to the declining economy.

I couldn't help at this point but remember the eminently successful cash-for-clunkers car replacement program from 3 1/2 years ago.

Remember that - where people were able to take their functioning older vehicles, pour a plastic epoxy resin into the engine to insure they could never work again, and the government would give them money to buy a new car?

The program was so successful that the initial ceiling of %1 billion was soon exceeded, so it was doubled, then expanded again to nearly unlimited, within the timeframe of the program.

So. Could this program be duplicated now, with our economic situation even worse than it was back then, and expanded, to include other things as well?

Old cars would still be included, of course. How about washing machines? Dryers? Dishwashers?

What about lawn mowers, leaf blowers and snow blowers?

And those are just things with engines that can be destroyed with quick-hardening resins. What about things that don't have engines, but which people could still destroy and buy new versions of with the help of some free government money?

How about:

Bicycles
Skateboards
Pogo Sticks
Tables
Chairs
Couches
Davenports
Ottomans
End Tables
Coffee Tables?

Now, a lot of these things can be destroyed effectively by pouring resin in or on them. But what about things that will still work no matter how much resin is poured on them, things like:

Artwork
Knick-knacks
Door Stops
Paperweights
Houses?

I propose special coupons, provided by the government, for axes, gasoline, and matches. The axes can be used to destroy all these things along with outdoor stuff like swing sets, jacuzzis, and fire pits, and the gasoline and matches can be used to destroy everything else, including the axes when folks are done with them.

Any remaining gasoline can be destroyed by the remaining matches, or allowed to sit in the sun and evaporate.

Thoughts, please DPers?

Leads To Next Program - Cash For Idiots Who Give Up Their Guns

and anything else that can help someone survive... Then, those idiots will lose their cash and then likely their lives after giving up their guns, when they get robbed after the crooks follow them and then proceed to take everything they haven't poured resin on knowing they aren't armed any longer and have no way to defend themselves.

We have seen this sort of thing happen all over the world, people always lose their sovereignty and are at the mercy of a tyrannical government after succumbing to strict gun laws or willingly giving up their guns and other property in some kind of confiscation scheme to bankrupt society...

Cash for clunkers was just a test run to see how desperate and drugged up and stupid everyone was. It turned out to be a success at the time because when you are still thinking rationally, if you invest a couple thousand into a clunker with a mechanic that knows what they're doing and doesn't rip you off, you can extend the life of your car for several years and actually have a more dependable machine than a new one. Evidently many are too drugged up and brainwashed to instead get their car rebuilt which ends up saving thousands in otherwise car payments over several years.

I'm sure they realized they must have drugged the population enough and made everyone so stupid that they can't figure out how to effectively fix their cars any longer. This is why they've continued on the route of taking away everything from the people which is to ultimately starve everyone by expanding the money supply which has contributed largely to food prices rising. They've also employed HAARP technology to cause major droughts around the US in order to destroy the crops. These things are deliberate measures to lessen our food supply, making everything more expensive, thus making everyone poorer.

Need evidence that something is going on? Just look at the prices in the grocery store lately. More people each day cannot keep up with the rising food costs and will be willing to give up more to get the money needed to just buy living essentials - most commonly food.

Food has been used as a weapon in all known tyrannical governments. This is where these sicko bankster regime globalist eugenicists are trying to take us. If you haven't already noticed, we are one of the few countries left in the world where the citizens haven't been subjected to as much harsh violations of human rights as other countries, but it's getting worse here as the police state continues to expand because although many are armed for the most part, many haven't felt the need to use the guns - yet. So the government continues to see how much they can drug and push everyone to obey and continue to take away property from the people. Everyone is just being conditioned to give up more of what they have for less. Seen the new "OBEY(brainwashing) Propaganda" clothing line brand? LOL.

So they put the poison in the food to make everyone sick and more likely to succumb to brainwashing - see GMO's, pesticides, preservatives, chemicals found in pretty much any packaged food item designed to destabilize the body which affects rational decisionmaking. Rational decisionmaking skills continue to be tested on the population.

So, What's the common denominator as to how bad it gets? Guns. The more guns they are able to get out of the hands of the citizens, the more tyrannical the government tends to act - it's a clear comparison. See the endless gun control legislation that keeps popping up every few months along with the endless attempts at pushing through cyber security legislation and latest Small Arms Treaty that Hillary and her communist friends at the UN has been trying to get passed. Obama just announced he may try to do an executive order to accomplish what was in the cyber security legislation to effectively take away freedom of speech on the internet which is another dent in their propaganda brainwashing plan.

When you think about it, it all adds up together. The subject of your article only hints at the tip of the iceberg.

Would you take Barney Rubble

Would you take Barney Rubble money for that?

"just feel the quality of that money. I use a better grade than the government".

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

How about cash for junkies?

As a lower income person, what can I say? Obama eliminated massive amounts of the types of vehicles I buy, drive, fix up and sell. So it was just great watching him subsidise higher income people at my expense. The joke only got better when I heard most of the resultant scrap was sold to China. Might come in handy for building their new line of warships. So in a way all that metal will probably end up coming home anyway. Ironic?

Why not cash for junkies? Lots of people will be turning to drugs and alcohol, even the middle and upper middle classes, and they are pretty useless to any economy. Obama himself, as an admitted user of addictive drugs fits neatly into this category. And why limit this to drug addiction? Perhaps if we poured epoxy resin into Bernanke we'd see some real improvement in his money printing addiction.

There is nothing strange about having a bar of soap in your right pocket, it's just what's happening.

agreed, but you may be forgetting

that much of the money that is put into Goldman-Sachs Food Stamp card scheme supports drug addicts when they sell these food stamp credits. So, 'eliminating' these drug addicts would hurt Goldman Sachs, and since they have proven themselves too big to flounder in this new economy... We need druggies to keep G Sachs going!!!

Don't feed the pandas. Ever.
