This Saturday

Lets go out in force on Saturday Oct 6th! We can lock in people's primary votes by showing them Ron Paul speaking on our Laptops!

It doesn't take much!

This Saturday, try taking a Ron Paul video to just a couple people in your neighborhood. See how they respond. Once they've seen Ron Paul speak, they'll probably join us in this forum to support him!

Thanks for the comments

Thanks for the comments everyone! I updated the video description and am asking for suggestions to the best video to show. The best one would have to be reasonably short and would probably be a brief compilation of Ron Paul's best debate responses. Also, if anyone wants to make a new video tailored specifically for going neighbor-to-neighbor, please post it as a video response! Thank you! Ron Paul 2008!

Neighbor to neighbor

Is anyone doing the neighbor to neighbor letter writing campaign, where you wirte a personal letter and send it out to those in/close to your neighborhood? I think it is a terrific idea and am working on it this week.

there is only one question

Out of all the videos, which one(s) do you suggest? which are the most powerfull? Postem, I just notices I have about 75 DVD disk that I have never used and probably wont..

DVD

Just some vague ideas: People trying this out could carry DVDs around with them (like the one you can get from bitorrent) to give to anyone who wants more information. (Or perhaps play the DVD and take it out and give it to them if they like what they are seeing.) And/or print a list of good sites to help them get started researching Paul themselves on the internet.

What would be very cool...

YouTube is great, but I find many undiscovered gems of RP's all the time. As I am sure many have found ones that I have not.

What we need is a website that indexes all of these. For instance, I have a video of Ron Paul being interviewed for healthcare issues. It is a great explanation of his stand on healthcare but hardly anyone has seen it.

It would also be nice if that website had various video formats (I know of a great tool to do this), iPod, PSP, etc, so that people could just download all of the videos on all of the issues, speeches to whatever video play device that they wanted to use.

I am willing to donate the web hosting and initial website setup for this if someone wanted to help volunteer to put it together. I just don't have the time personally at this point, I am under major deadlines that I just can't put off.

Re: healtcare

Could you share the link to that, please?

And Ron Paul should produce

And Ron Paul should produce a set of videos where he explains each topic on his own terms. Without time pressure and without leading questions. A sort of a video book. He could make a short 3 minute version and a longer 10 minute version for each topic. There could be illustrations, diagrams and other clips inserted documentary style, but basically just let the man talk infront of the camera!

With this door to door news channel, one could ask people "Which issue is most important to you?" Even if most people are uninterested in politics, those employed in the health sector, or who have health problems, would be interested in health issues. Home owners would be interested in having the monetary issues explained to them and so on. Ron Paul has a great potential in waking up people who didn't vote last time.

So, don't just search and sort the existing video clips, have the campaign produce new videos!

Door knocking... brilliant!

Let people see the action. Dr. Paul's wit and off-the-cuff answers when put on the spot are some of his greatest strengths. I tend to think a documentary style would put people to sleep or get them looking around at their watches. But spliced up scenes of his quick and to-the-point answers during heated debates, etc. gets anyone glued to the screen.

Plus, having him re-make videos would chew up a lot of Dr. Paul's time. I think that with some ingenuity, we could probably off-load him in this case.

A very good idea!

I was unaware of the Mozilla plugins to make this happen. Switched to Mozilla in the last year and it is spectacular. This is a great idea and my group and I will implement it. Thanks for the info!

Who is John Galt? Vote ███ ███ 2012!

The animation said it all.

You just "told" in a few seconds what I've been trying to put into words for a while now.
Namely: all that yelling and screaming after folks TURNS PEOPLE OFF, FOREVER! Something to do with first impressions.

It's a great idea. Combine modern multimedia with old-fashioned door knocking.
Who'd a thunk it? :-)

GREAT IDEA !

Wow...very smart plan ! I will do it ! Thank you for the video...

and what is the music?

I've already forwarded this video out to my meetup... I had been saying the same thing but a picture is worth..... :)

What is the music on your video, please?
