The Top Ten: It’s time for Ron Paul supporters to back Romney, Paul Ryan says

Each week, Texas on the Potomac gives you a second glimpse at the most popular posts on our site. Here are your ten favorite posts for the week of Sept. 23 to Sept. 29:

1. Latina to Mitt Romney: We are not laughing at your Mexican joke. In a leaked video, the Republican nominee jokes that he would have a better chance of winning the election if his father had been born to Mexican parents rather than Mormon colonists in Mexico. But in a new commercial co-produced by the liberal group MoveOn and PresentePac+, one Latina says, “We are not laughing.” Alex Yap reports >>

2. The List:Which presidential polls were most accurate? The Pew Research Center and Rasmussen Reports were the most accurate in predicting the results of the 2008 election, according to a new analysis by Fordham University political scientist Costas Panagopoulos. The Fordham analysis ranks 23 survey research organizations on their final, national pre-election polls, as reported on pollster.com. Rick Dunham reports >>

3. Paul Ryan urges Ron Paul supporters to fall into line – ‘Do you want Barack Obama to be re-elected?’ Remember when Al Gore “invented the internet”? According to Paul Ryan, Romney-Ryan ticket is a good alternative as they see “eye to eye” on many different issues with the Texas Rep. Ron Paul. “There are many things that Ron has championed that I am a big believer in, especially liberty and sound money,” he said. Jana Kasperkevic reports >>

What's In It For US?

The bottom line is if we help you to win, you'll kick us to the curb. If we don't and Romney loses, you'll negotiate with us on some of the bigger issues we care about.

We won't blink. Even if Romney wins, it will be too close for comfort. You need to realize you can't ignore, mock and cheat us, then ask us for our support. We're NOT scared of Obama, either way liberty will get worse under him or Romney.

Well looky who suddenly matters?

If beating Obama truly is their priority than they'd hand the Republican nomination to its rightful owner, RON PAUL!

If men are good, you don't need government; if men are evil or ambivalent, you don't dare have one.

It's time for Ryan to back Ron Paul

Paul supporters say

There are many things that

Paul Ryan - "There are many things that Ron has championed that I am a big believer in, especially liberty and sound money,” he said."

Seriously does this A-hole really think he can say this in the internet age and not expect us to know his track record of not being for liberty or sound money?

They Know

damned good and well that they don't want or care about how we vote because they have the whole thing rigged. They are only making out like it matters so they have an excuse to blame someone for Rombombya losing to Obambney which is what they have had planned all along. Geez, what an Orwell novel we live in. Let's all just stop and have a 2 minute hate, what say?

He can

Kiss my Ass. Ryan voted for NDAA, Romney supports it. Both are against Liberty and the Constitution. 4 more years of Obama is better than 8 years of Romney for obvious reason...

That said, I will be voting for Johnson.

About the only "eye to eye" I see is a black eye from the swings the Romney camp took at Paul! What really counts is what Romney believes, so let's start with sound money. Paul offered a great plan for spending cuts. In the debate Romney brought up the need for government aid to education. Romney will not fix our disastrous budget. Next "liberty". Romney's "I support the NDAA" is a great example of his idea of liberty. We know Ron has a totally different (and better) foreign affairs policy. If you look at Romney's record instead of his rhetoric I can't think of any major issue that is similar. I will leave this post with a quote I have recently coined - "It's not the lesser of two evils, it is the same evil". Just one form of that evil is the support of Goldman Sachs to both Obama and Romney.
