The peaceful majority were irrelevant...

Dr. Emanuel Tanay: Interview with holocaust survivor, expert on genocide, author of Passport to Life
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=se7TFnefNys

This an explanation of the Muslim terrorist situation. Dr. Emanuel Tanay's references to past history are accurate and clear. Not long, easy to understand, and well worth the read. The author of this email is a well-known and well-respected Holocaust survivor, a forensic psychiatrist, an expert on homicide, and an expert on the psychology of Holocaust survivors.

A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates, when asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism.

'Very few people were true Nazis,' he said, 'but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.'

We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is the religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the spectra of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.

The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor-kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.

The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant...

China’s huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant...

The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet. The peaceful majority were irrelevant...

And who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'? The peaceful majority were irrelevant...

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: Peace-loving Muslims, just as the Rwandan’s, the Japanese, the Chinese, the Russians and the many, many others throughout history have, too, been made irrelevant by their silence.

Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late.

As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts--the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

Lastly, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious and just deletes this email without sending it on is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand. So, extend yourself a bit and send this on and on and on!

Let us hope that thousands, world-wide, read this and think about it, and send it on - before it's too late.

Now Islamic prayers have been introduced into Toronto and other public schools in Ontario, and, yes, in Ottawa too while the Christian New Testament’s Our Father Whom Art in Heaven prayer was removed (due to being so offensive?) The Islamic way may be peaceful for the time being in our country until the fanatics move in.

And we are silent.......

This thread has become a sort of "listening test" to help reveal people's mental biases. Many think it's an anti-Muslim - anti-Islam etc. writing.
It's not.
It's an observation of how these things work. How an otherwise rational population can end up chopped meat because they didn't 'take out the trash' when the pile was small and manageable.

The Nazis and Communists

Were all supported and financed by the oligarchy to further their agenda.

The same is now true of the Islamists in Muslim nations although many of them are also unwittingly acting as mercenaries of the oligarchy to subvert other nations on the pretext of a "clash of civilisations" narrative.

The same is also true of Zionists, both Jewish and Christian who represent the sworn enemies of the Islamists in this narrative. They are also being manipulated to oppose the Islamist bogeyman.

The same is also true of all the so called terror groups of the post WWII era who were used to direct anger towards whatever target suited the plans of the oligarchy.

The present provocations and murders by apparently Muslim terrorists are created by the oligarchy to polarise Western populations to support the present attacks on the "peaceful majority" in Muslim nations which has the effect of further engendering murderous vengeful hatred of the West in these nations thus adding to the ranks of the young Islamists who can be manipulated by the intelligence operatives of the oligarchy.

A recent example was the car bomb assassination of the Lebanese spy chief that has been blamed on Syria. This will rebound on the current targets of NATO aggression, Syria and its allies Hezbollah and Iran. They had to do this because their subversion of Syria is failing and they need to take over Syria in order to successfully conquer Iran.

This is the actual historic situation that has to be believed by the "peaceful majority" if any change is to be effected but it is unlikely to happen since the "peaceful majority" is already so well conditioned to accept whatever the oligarchy tells them to believe. This turns them into anything but a "peaceful majority".

Remember the passion for revenge of the American "peaceful majority" after 9/11. Today's "peaceful majority" is tomorrow's murderous avenging army.

The rise to power of the fanatical minority is already an accomplished fact. The 20th. century saw the radical advancement of a centuries old plan of a cabal whose aim is to dominate the world. It is now nearing its denouement.

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)

So what's the difference between the Muslim or Neo-con .......

.....fanatics and the Nazis? They all want war and dictatorship.

Most Muslims just want to be left alone to live their lives in peace, just like most Americans today, and Germans seventy years ago. That is why libertarians lose so often, because we don't want to force others to do what we want. Fascists of all races and nationalities always want to force others to do what the fascists desire, no matter how damaging it is for the country or people.

Hardly

Islam was overwhelmingly opposed to the fanatics prior to our rampage through the Middle East.

The radical Islamists had been rejected by the vast majority of Muslims. Osama Bin Laden could get no traction with his little sect. Saddam Hussein had the radical Islamists in the Middle East under constant surveillance (read Susan Lindauer's book) and he ran a secular state, the everyday Iranian was wearing American slogans on their t-shirts and listening to American music thus frustrating the hardliners and their desire to have an Islamic State, Palestinian Muslims had turned to passive resistance instead of violence after the Second Intifada...I could go on. When 9/11 happened, we received condolences from Muslims around the world.

Then we opened fire, willy-nilly, on the Muslims and created sympathy for the radicals in the Muslim society.

WE have made it impossible for the moderate Muslims to assert control, and WE must change our ways if we want it to change. WE must stop bombing them, shooting them, propping up their dictators, assasinating their scientists, firing missiles into their villages, etc.

Now we're empowing the bad elements in Iran

The Iranian population who would love to live free are watching their currency lose value -- almost 50% in a matter of days -- thanks in part to our intervention.

Will it spark sustainable revolution?

I don't know.

Either it will weaken the freedom lovers or drive them to pull out the stops and take down the regime.

Our currency has lost 97% value

since the Fed tookover...what have you done to stop that on your watch?

Anyway, I think Iran has shown great restraint considering the Mossad has murdered their scientists, and sabotaged their nuclear plants with stuxnet viruses, Israeli leadership forever saying the world needs to bomb Iran for them, etc...

Let's put this in perspective; How many countries has Iran *occupied* or humanitarian bombed in the last decade compared to say, the US or Israel?

RP R3VOLution

Perhaps it is us who should have 'taken out the trash'

The U.S. is now the most dangerous terrorist state in the world. Forget about Islam...they are pikers compared to us. Change this e-mail to warn us that we will end up with a bloody tyranny.

And how about the Likud Party that is about as fanatic as any Muslim extremist. The Israelis should have taken out that 'trash' years ago, as the right wing hardliners in Israel have killed far more Muslims than Muslims have killed Jews (about 100 times more).

Ron Johnson

Excellent point Miami Vice.

Normal, un-oppressed, free people don't wake up in the morning looking to go out and do a suicide bombing.

I made many business contact friends in DC (Islamic-mostly Pakistani & Iranian) who just wanted a shot at liberty. They were thriving here and happy.

But if I were them and I saw what my "new country" was doing to my "old country" I might look to retaliate over here. All of them have family back home who have suffered at the hands of U.S. animals.

Are you kidding me?

What is this anti-islamic garbage? I expect better from you.

The point is not that we must worry about islamic fanatics. That's not who is taking us over and owning us. We have our own fanatics and they have already taken us over. They already own us. And very few if any of them are reading from the Koran. Most claim faiths similar to yours. Clean thy own house. Stand up to your own extremists taking us on blood thirsty wars across the world. Go peddle your religious wars and bigoted propaganda chain emails on red state or WND. This does not belong here. I do hope this was just a mistake.

Take you pissy pill this morning?

The point is that no matter what fanatic faction is at play

the peaceful majority need to speak-up

and spread awarenss

to neutralize the fanatic minorities

who have undisputably brought hell on earth.

And, while they're at it, the

And, while they're at it, the peaceful faction also needs to arm themselves to the teeth, so that noone less peaceful will ever harbor any illusions that the peaceful ones will have no choice but to go along with them.

There will always be fanatics, regardless of how much awareness spreading people are involved in. But it is up those who fancy themselves non fanatics to make sure the fanatics run into a wall should they step out of their way.

eloquent stuki

And, while they're at it, the peaceful faction also needs to arm themselves to the teeth, so that noone less peaceful will ever harbor any illusions that the peaceful ones will have no choice but to go along with them.

The Point

If that were the case, I am sure most people would agree.
But the delivery of the point is propped up on what could be taken as hate speech against Muslims, because it was using Islam fanaticism as an example.

With just a little editing the message about the peaceful majority stepping it up against the fanatic minority would come through much clearer. Peace needs action. Now.

The article is

using ALL forms of fanaticism as an example.(over the course of history)

It's not just using Islam fanaticism as an example.

Islam fanaticism just happens to be up at bat right now.

Thanks tOmmy

That is more of what I was getting at minus the vitriol and outrage. I agree, with a little bit of editing, this would come across a lot better. I apologize Barracuda_Trader for my harsh words, they were aimed more at those creating these anti-islamic sentiments rather than you personally. I've seen your other posts and know you are doing good work and doing your best to spread good messages. This one just confused me considering your other work and I should have given you more benefit of the doubt. Still this post, as presently written, is still wrong. I hope you edit and repost it.

It's All Good

When spreading the message of peace the best thing to do is keep a cool head. We're all working for the same goal, so encouraging & positive words work best.
