Ron Paul ad on Hannity's radio show

I just heard a radio ad for the Doc on Hanity. Sounded great.

I decided to repost a topic I posted a few wweks ago about the best way to get on these call-in shows as an RP supporter. This can be a fairly effective way to help spread the word, since a large portion of the republican base gets thier news exclusively from these clowns.

Breaking thru the talk radio call screener as a supporter of Ron Paul is an almost insurmountable task. I have been able to get on a few of the major talk shows, and these are a few tips I have learned that I would like to share. Please add your own tips as well.

1) Call screeners are the talk show hosts first and most important line of defense. Be pleasant when speaking to them. Also, be prepared to wait on the line. This is not the screeners fault.

2) Hannity's of the world do not wish to speak to intelligent people with opposing poitns of view. They want to speak to idiots with opposing points of view, smart people who agree with them, and celebrities.

3) Get to the point, and FAST! The second the host figures out that you might know what you are talking about, they are going to talk over you, and then hit the dump button.

4) Prepare. Be prepared to answer the questions that they might use to discredit the good doctor. Remember, these guys are professionals, and they know how to intimidate callers.

5) Make them stay on topic. They like to change the subject to try to distract you. Don't be caught off guard.

6) Be nice. Rmember, you are representing all of us paul supporters, and any innaproprate behavior reflects poorly on us, as well as the good doctor.

On a side note, a friend and I called Rusty Humphries tonight at the same time. He spoke with the call screener in a very elegant manner and made many well stated points. I called and said to the call screener, "Yo! This Rusty guy be dissin' my dog Ron Paul. Thats messed up, yo. I needs to set the record strizzate!" My friend was placed on hold for the rest of the show, and I was the very next call. I was able to make some good points before getting cut off, but my friend never got to speak.

On another side note, Rusty Humphries is an asshat.
