NBC's Chuck Todd has meltdown over conspiracy theorists/Fed critics

Chuck Todd: Conspiracy Theories Are 'Corroding Trust In Our Government' (VIDEO)

The Huffington Post - snip - "...Todd interrupted. "This is really making me crazy," he said. "The Federal Reserve gets questioned now for politics these days, the Supreme Court, John Roberts. We have corroded."

Todd lowered his voice, which grew shaky. "What we're doing, we're corroding trust in our government in a way, and one time responsible people are doing to control it. And the idea that Donald Trump and Jack Welch, rich people with crazy conspiracy, can get traction on this, is a bad trend..."

The emotional reaction was somewhat surprising for Todd. The chief White House correspondent does not shy away from calling out politicians, but the discussion about the validity of the September jobs report numbers seemed to strike a nerve.

Breitbart.com blasts Todd for comments

Not a fan of neocon breitbart.com, but a good response nonetheless:

He is Publically Mourning His Loss of Power

He is publically mourning his loss of power. The gig is up for him and his comrades and he is just now is coming to that realization.

maybe he should go back to school..

..and learn what real journalism is..

Participate in America's future- Research Ron Paul- Truth will Prevail! You too, will be proud one day, to be able to say: "I was a Ron Paul supporter."

So he is as stupid as he

So he is as stupid as he looks...

He's upset because people recognize truth

And he makes a living trying to hide it.

Trust a politician who would have us bartering our labor and property for fiat debt tokens while they carbon tax us? No thanks.

This government has LONG since turned on the people and humanity. They serve another master. The only thing they're "due" is a hangman's noose for treason and crimes against humanity.

Government is corroding trust in government.

Government is corroding trust in government.

What?

I saw no "meltdown" don't plague us with lies in the headlines so we'll watch. The video is interesting, that's enough, we don't need to lie in our headlines to get people to watch it.

Sam Donaldson used to get in Reagan's face and question him

Sam Donaldson used to get in Reagan's face and question him, his figures, his motives, and his sincerity. And Donaldson was allowed to do it over and over and over.

Waht Chuck Todd illustrates is the complete surrender of the mainstream corportate media to the government, which of course, is controlled by the same corporations that hold stock in the media.

Chuck is both a servant to Big Government and a slave to the corporations.

"Tsk, tsk, Chuck."

"Cowards & idiots can come along for the ride but they gotta sit in the back seat!"

Strange that a supposedly bright guy

like Chuck Todd wasn't aware of what a director once said regarding their programs and the American People.

Todd's too smart to not know...maybe he just wanted a youtube moment. He should start reading Lew Rockwell daily. That would be some helpful therapy.

Unless he's willing to acknowledge that government lies, he deserves all the ridicule he invites.

"If this mischievous financial policy [greenbacks], which has its origin in North America, should become endurated down to a fixture, then that government will furnish its own money without cost. It will pay off its debts and be without debts. It will hav

Conspiracy theory fills the secrecy void

The government loses credibility because it lends trillions of dollars in secret. The government loses credibility because it wages a secret war overseas in Iran and Syria and probably every middle eastern country. The government loses credibility because it has a 60 billion dollar black ops budget. The government loses credibility because the executive has the right to assassinate without public or judicial review. The government loses credibility because it has the right to detain citizens without public or judicial review. The government loses credibility because it operates prisons in secrecy. The government loses credibility because its agents, the legislators access private information and use that information to make commercial and trading dealings. When america asks why only conspiracy theories fill the void.

Just dropped in.

I have not been here for awhile but felt I needed log in and acknowledge this post. The concept is very important and needs to be taken to heart. The one quote below is why it is so important that we keep "Asking" the never answered questions.

"Corroding our government"

Main Entry:cor£rode
Pronunciation:k*-*r*d
Function:verb
Inflected Form:cor£rod£ed ; cor£rod£ing
Etymology:Middle English, from Latin corrodere to gnaw to pieces, from com- + rodere to gnaw — more at RODENT
Date:14th century

transitive verb
1 : to eat away by degrees as if by gnawing; especially : to wear away gradually usually by chemical action *the metal was corroded beyond repair*
2 : to weaken or destroy gradually : UNDERMINE *manners and miserliness that corrode the human spirit — Bernard De Voto*
intransitive verb : to undergo corrosion
–cor£rod£ible \-*r*-d*-b*l\ adjective

Absolutely, We all need to question what our government is doing at all times. Now that Ron's run is over I absolutely would like to welcome and encourage every and all conspiracy theories. It is time to ask the questions that have no answers. No matter the source.

Please have a great evening my friends.

If I disappear from a discussion please forgive me. My 24-7 business requires me to split mid-sentence to serve them. I am not ducking out, I will be back later to catch up.

He gets emotional because he

He gets emotional because he knows that when the american people find out the whole truth about the government and the federal reserve that there will be a revolution and his life will be turned upside down. He knows the end is near for the us dollar and that the whole world wide financial system is just a big ponzi scheme that is ready to collapse.

remember that press

remember that press conference in the pentagon earlier this year with the hot mic and "when Ron Paul is elected all these people will be out of a job"(to paraphrase) is overheard. yeah... :)

"My theories explain, but cannot slow the decline of a great civilization. I set out to be a reformer, but only became the historian of decline."
- Ludwig Von Mises

That was not a meltdown

in the slightest sense. He made one statement that was not that fulfilling, and what?

This trend is actually quite

This trend is actually quite good because it indicates that people are beginning to think critically instead of accepting spoon-fed propaganda. Naturally, such critical thinking is totally scary to a medium engaged in propaganda like the mass media.

This is a set up to try & quell criticism of the federal reserve

Chuck Todd works for G.E. NBC, Jack Welch was ceo of & still advises G.E. NBC, Donald Trump has a show on G.E. NBC, "The Federal Reserve gets questioned now for politics these days" was said by C.Todd on Meet the Press G.E. NBC show. The Current G.E. NBC CEO Jeffrey Immelt is on the federal reserve board.

"Federal Reserve consulted with General Electric on the creation of a commercial paper funding facility and then provided $16 billion in financing"

Excellent Post!

Now this is investigative reporting. Something the MSM has no clue about.

BINGO!

Good call.

The word....

is "eroded", not "corroded" given the context and what he was saying. So maybe he should go back to public school for a bit...

The rest is too ridiculous to comment on.

Why do many on here

Why do many on here exaggerate about posts in their subject. It gets annoying. That was far from a meltdown.

In other words,

if one questions what their govt tells them, they are "conspiracy theorists." Sickening.

Todd is just another NBC statist

Watch the first minute of this clip (warning as you'll have to tolerate Hannity) and you'll see Chuckie laugh off a legit question about preparing for war with Iran.

Who is that lady laughing behind Ed Henry?

Amused over Chuck Todd's hear ache

Amused as I am with Chuck Todd's supposed heart ache, wasn't it always considered a good thing to question the big man ? Isn't it the professional work ethic of "journalists" to question the things that are coming out of government's officials mouths ? Who else would keep the government employees ( Yes that includes the President) accountable to "we the public" ?

Check Todd would need to get his mental abilities checked and needs to take a basic course in journalism. That last I checked, the president, and everybody underneath him, WORKS FOR US. They are answerable to us.

May be Chuck Todd thinks this country should be like North Korea and should worship at the altar of Kim jong il or whatever, in which case he should consider a career in North Korea's Politburo.

Most people have little or no trust in the government already...

I went to the movie theater a couple years ago to see Alien vs Predator. The people in the town were trying to escape the aliens and they had been in phone contact with a government agent who told them to go to the center of town. One of the people then said it didnt make any sense and they were being misled on purpose. To that, a women burst out saying "The government doesn't lie!", in an 'are you crazy' kind of way.

You know what the people in the theater did as soon as that was said?
(the theater could have been considered packed)

They all burst out laughing. It was not just some snickering either, it was like someone had told a hilarious joke.

Now, this particular event I will always remember. It shows to me that most people know the government is untrustworthy. Deep down, whether they are just the average person or whether they consider themselves a conspiracy theorist, most people already have a lack of trust in the government. The thing that is different among people is to what extent they acknowledge this.

Hmm, I have to wonder whether asking people if they think the government is completely trustworthy might open the cracks up into questioning other things.

To climb the mountain, you must believe you can.

I wish Chuckie

It would be nice to know that Chuckie had a meltdown over all the GOP/RNC Shenanigans during the primary and at the national convention.
He aint no Ben Swann...that's for sure.

Either one prefers to know truth, or ...

... one prefers proaganda.

Theory is only a way to try to understand. Conspiracy is when two or more people try to keep something illegal or immoral a secret.

What is important is TRUTH.

Either you are with truth ... or you are with propaganda. There is no third option.

We know what side you're on, Chuckie.
