Thanks, she brings up

some good points. I have noticed a trend over the passing years in how the environment message is crafted. In the abortion issue the fetus is now referred to as a "Parasite" now I am hearing baby boomers referred to as "Parasites". It seems that humans are now "Parasites" and I can now understand why so many people have this self-hate attitude.

People are becoming very abusive to themselves and others which is very sad to see.

I lean more towards balance. I did not have more children than I thought I could financially, physically or mentally care for.

I would not tell anyone to have or not have children and I would not think less or more of them for their decision.

I certainly do NOT think of people as "Parasites". I think that people who considers others "Parasites" will fit right in with the NWO.

"We can see with our eyes, hear with our ears and feel with our touch, but we understand with our hearts."

I'll look at it later, but I've never believed that . . .

overpopulation would be a problem in a world that is not run by evil, greedy people--

it wouldn't be a problem in a world run by evil, greedy people.

But evil, greedy people love to starve people and call it overpopulation--

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

The Continental US could grow

The Continental US could grow enough food to feed the world. Why Don't we? look no further then the UN and the Washington DC. Don't fall for all the lies.

the idea that America has to feed the world has led to . . .

all sorts of problems. It's really the same mindset as that America must police the world.

Other nations can and will feed themselves, if the CIA and the big banks and their hit men leave them alone--

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

and dont forget..

mon-SATAN-'0s non-reproducing, (terminate after one planting) seeds!

When the Fullness of Gentiles Occurs,

The "overpopulation" ye ol' unbelievers wring your hands about will be dealt with in a mighty way.

Yes, I know, "it's foolishness to those who are perishing", but to those of us who trust in the cross, it "is the power of God".

All the prophecies are coming true in front of our eyes!!! How exciting is that? The one world currency, the one world religion, and the one world political system are all foretold.

Christians don't worry about overpopulation because we see these things and know that God's wrath will depopulate the planet in short order.
The Bible says that if He didn't cut those days short (wrath-pouring tribulation) than no flesh would survive. All these arguments about resources and such are going to be moot when 1/3 of the earth is on fire.

This world is passing away - everyone better "put on" the Lord Jesus Christ while you still have a chance.

That's my PSA for this morning:)

I do appreciate your zeal @republicanmother

However the interpretation of scripture you are relying upon is deeply flawed and is a product of the carnal imagination of men.

The book of the Revelation or Unveiling of the Lord Jesus Christ is a spiritual book full of symbolic meaning and it is addressed to the seven churches and the overcomers within these churches not the people of the world. It does not describe events that will take place on Earth in some kind of historical fulfilment but rather the work that is being done by the Holy Spirit within those who desire to completely surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ and to be changed into His likeness, conformed to His image .

It is nothing less than a training manual for those who are following on to know the Lord Jesus Christ in His fullness. It is the process by which every Christian may in due time have the Lord Jesus Christ unveiled within themselves and revealed or manifested to the world. It is the Unveiling of the Lord Jesus Christ just as the title says. When this process has been completed in the chosen Body of Christ then there will be a manifestation of these mature sons of God to the Creation (Romans:18-25).

This is what is referred to in scripture as the "putting on" of the Lord Jesus Christ and is an instruction to the believer not the unbeliever. The time of the manifestation is very near.

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)

A Training Manual, seriously?

It all sounds pretty specific to me. I've been a student of the Bible for many years and have never heard anything like this out of any denomination.

The destruction of millions that take months and months to bury on the plain of Megiddo is pretty specific. That everyone must take a mark in their forehand and hand is also specfic, I did not imagine that, nor the parts saying the earth will be burnt with fire, a meteor will descend and poison the earth, etc. These are all specfic claims that will reveal the prophecy of the Lord.

There is something called the doctrine of understandibility, where the meaning isn't so cloaked you'd need a PhD to figure it out. The term manifestation has a very New Age ring. The Bible is clear that none of us will be like Him until we pass through death or translation (Enoch, Elijah).

You are quite right, it is not denominational teaching.

With regard to the word "manifestation". Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

That is the King James version. Most of the other versions use the word "revealing" as in the ESV: "For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God."

This teaching regarding the sons of God and the fulfilment of the Feast of Tabernacles and the culmination of this Age is part of the revelation given by the Holy Spirit in 1948 during what came to be called the Latter Rain movement that occurred at the same time the the Jews were setting up their State in the Middle East. The institutional churches largely rejected the teaching only receiving parts of it like the five fold ministry that found its way into the Pentecostal churches. They rejected the truth because they were so focused on what was happening in Palestine. This counterfeit state of Israel was the final piece of the strong delusion that God was sending to blind the churches.

These same churches had embraced the futurist eschatology of Scofield and Darby which itself has an interesting provenance starting with a Chilean Jesuit priest Manuel Diaz Lacunza who wrote under the pseudonym Rabbi Juan Josaphat Ben-Ezra. His book "The Coming of the Messiah in Glory and Majesty" especially aimed at Jews was translated into English by the Scottish minister Edward Irving who founded the Catholic Apostolic Church. Irving published his book in 1827 with the title of "The Coming of the Messiah" that influenced early dispensationalists like John Nelson Darby.

Later in the 19th. century these futurist teachings were communicated by his mentor James H. Brookes, a prominent dispensationalist premillennialist, to Cyrus Scofield the creator of the Scofield Reference Bible that was based upon this doctrine and is credited with its wide acceptance in fundamentalist and evangelical denominations. This bible was published by the very reputable Oxford University Press and reportedly funded by the wealthy Jewish corporate and banking lawyer Samuel Untermeyer who no doubt believed that it served the purposes of Zionism that he fervently supported.

Needless to say this was all under the sovereignty of God and established the foundation for the present State of Israel that is widely supported in the evangelical community. What this all means is explained very clearly in this book by Dr. Stephen Jones a Christian bible teacher in the Kingdom-Sonship realm:

As I mentioned in my previous post the language of the Revelation is spiritual and symbolic all of which can be understood by anyone with reference only to the Word of God and led by the Spirit of Truth. Degrees in theology would be more likely to work against such an understanding since they often imprint carnal doctrines on the carnal mind which then war against the Spirit. It is not without reason that our Lord said: “I tell you the truth, unless you turn around and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven!" (Matthew 18:3)

My wife and I have been reading these teachings in Revelation for the past six years and we are still reading them since they come out once a month and we are still only in chapter 11! We reread them and each time we understand more. The author is a former pastor who left a public ministry in order to concentrate on writing at the behest of the Holy Spirit. His website is full of teaching on different subjects and also has links to other websites of Kingdom teachers. We have settled on three that are helpful to us and whose teachings are confirmations of those truths the Holy Spirit himself is giving us. These are the safeguards that our Father has always given to His children in His Word and Law. They are so much better than any false sense of security bestowed by adhering to man made doctrines and traditions. This latter I have called believism to which I myself belonged for over twenty years before the Spirit led me out of the Christian religious system fourteen years ago.

Here is the first article on Revelation that may open up some of the thinking to you:

http://www.kingdombiblestudies.org/Revelation/rev1.htm Here is the very first paragraph:

"The mark of the beast. Armageddon. The Four Horsemen. The false prophet. Babylon the great. Falling stars, stinging locusts, and giant hailstones. The seven last plagues. The bottomless pit. The lake of fire. These images of terror and catastrophe from the book of Revelation have greatly influenced the thinking of millions of Christians through the ages. Even the secular press uses images such as "Armageddon" and "four horsemen of the Apocalypse" to describe calamities in our world. Despite 1900 years of fascination with the book of Revelation, John’s letter to the seven Churches of Asia continues to be misunderstood. And badly misinterpreted!"

It is not easy to have all the false images that have infested our minds destroyed in the fire of God's love but it must be done if we wish to see Him and know Him as He truly is. That is surely the goal of the Christian life and notwithstanding the limited knowledge dispensed by the Church over the centuries there have always been those who have answered the call to “Come up here so that I can show you what must happen after these things.”

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)

So, if overpopulation is a problem

what is the solution? who we going to kill off first? do we take away life saving medicine and surgery? do we increase abortions?

where do you overpopulationists start with "solutions"?

and who decides who is allowed to live?

Say what?

Her argument made no sense at all. She forgot her children will grow up.

There is only 6 acres of arable land per person in the world. The average American uses resources far exceeding that. That would include the materials for building their homes, infrastructure, businesses, transportation, food(fertilizer, tractors, transportation), appliances, recreation facilities, medical facilities, banks, etc.

But the biggest problem with the population is oil. If you believe in peak oil, which all the evidence verifies even if the oil is from abiogenic origins, than you have to wonder what happens as production dwindles. Human population is directly related to oil production. See chart.

This comment is not an opinion. It is pure fact.

Let the down-voting commence.

You are falling for the

You are falling for the statist trap. don't believe all their lies.

Statist trap?

I can do math and look at charts.

There was no opinion made in my comment. None.

What trap are you referring to, Sierra?

What about Energy needs?

Sounds like there are members

Sounds like there are members here who buy that overpopulation lie, wow. There is plenty of room and plenty of resources for the people on this planet, we just allow government to get in the way and control those things.

We have now sunk to a depth at which restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men. ~ George Orwell

Yeah there might be plenty of

Yeah there might be plenty of space but what are we gonna do keep going till people are pack shoulder to shoulder? seriously? And for resources, why should humans have full right to the planet? Because a ghost in a book said so? Sounds selfish period.

as bill hicks said, "killem all, adolph!"

I just cant believe you think we will be shoulder to shoulder one day. Surely we will become acrobats and walk on each others shoulder, so its more like feet to shoulder, amd then when the world fills again we will just ha e to stack ourselves 3,4, or 5 high. Populations will have to split up halves of daylight for sleeping, first shift sleeps on the ground in an interwoven pattern to make roads amd bridges and vice versa, we will have to grow our food directly from the dead bodies, and take turns relieving ourselves. The only forms of entertainment will be a when everyone does the wave and imtermittant moshpits and or pete seeger singalongs.

She seems like a wonderful woman.

But I don't agree with her rationale at all. Her argument is based on the premise that every large family is like hers or like people whom she knows.

Can she guarantee that all large families recycle or carpool in one car?

Go to the projects where families come by the dozen and I can assure you, they aren't recycling.

who cares if they recycle or

who cares if they recycle or not. Do they not have the freedom to choose to recycle?

Did you even watch the video?

The woman was trying to make the point that having a larger family was more environmentally viable because they do those things. That's why it's important. It's important to realize that that's a falsehood since not every large family will do those things.

Not only that all those kids

Not only that all those kids will have kids of their own and most likely a lot to make it feel like their childhood. Simple math really, more people equals more problems.

no it doesn't. lmao

no it doesn't. lmao

I like Kelly's blog

But the real thing is what is "pollution"?

To Satan, it's all these little things made in God's image. All the save the earth stuff is just a pretext to cull us off the earth.
