Gary Johnson to appear on Connecticut Presidential ballot

Secretary of the State Denise Merrill has confirmed that Libertarian Party presidential candidate Gary Johnson will be on the ballot for November's general election. Governor Johnson will be one of four Presidential candidates in Connecticut.

“Anyone who has spoken with voters recently understands that there is an extreme dissatisfaction with the Republican and Democratic options,” said James Palmer, Connecticut campaign co-director. “We are happy to provide a candidate who is actually worth voting for, rather than just another candidate to vote against.”

Gary Johnson served as Governor of New Mexico from 1995 to 2003. His record, according to the party, includes cutting taxes 14 times, reducing the size of government 10 percent without firing a single state worker and leaving the state with a $1 billion surplus.
