Poll: Will Romney's 5 Boys Fight in the Next War?

Of course this is an unscientific poll, but I was wondering what people's thoughts were on this issue.

I know Romney loves to threaten other countries, but will his boys lead the way?

Unanimously- No

Pretty cowardly if you ask me

They'll probably serve

...other people's kids with draft papers, that is.

Romney's VMI "MAJOR" foreign policy speech calls for

glorious VICTORY in the Middle East, against China & Russia, while arming Syrian rebels and possibly sending troops in Libya. Really FIVE Romney boys and TWO Obama girls won't be enough. We should conscript ALL NEOCON scions, including Cheney kids & grandkids, to line up there to make THEIR dreams of glorious wars come true.

Just don't come and ask 75% - 80% of non-interventionists Americans, sick & tired of any more wasteful immoral wars, to join them in THEIR imperial wars.

naaaa..

but during the Viet Nam war mitt did not serve in the military but he did take part in protest against the people that were protesting the Viet Nam war...a real courageous guy that mitt....NOT!

HA! I also gaurantee mine

HA! I also gaurantee mine won't either. The only way My son goes to war is defend the CONUS. At that point if the CONUS is being invaded we ALL GO.

Are there application forms

Are there application forms online that people can approach chicken hawks with?

no - they'll starve in a DC-area hidy-hole

duh?

the only way his kids are going to the middle east is with secret service protection

Start a "send YOUR kids"

Start a "send YOUR kids" campaign for all politicians.
Your children don't serve us, you don't serve us.

The problem is the

The problem is the bloodthirsty neocon tyrants will never agree with said campaign. I remember when I was a necon, I was very stupid and dense when it came to these kinds of emotional issues like War. No matter what we do, if it's REPUBLICAN and it's WAR then I'm FOR IT. If you try to make them see this contradiction (other people's kids should die for their wars, not their own) they'll just fold their arms and claim you hate America first.

Ugh.

Add the other half of the question and I'd love

to see this poll go viral. To rephrase: Will Obama and Romney's kids volunteer to serve on the front lines of all wars their Dad (whichever) starts? That is, if their Dads are too chicken to go themselves as leaders used to do when they had some degree of courage if not any more wisdom that the current awful batch.

If the objection is that Obama's kids are too young, young victims of Obama's wars were evidently not to young; why discriminate?

for sure....

They will be "push button" captains in an office in Burlington, Vermont sending drones to kill civilians.

They'll go home every night to a plush home.

Silly rabbit, the nwo "boys" will sacrifice NOTHING for the "useless eaters".

Too old to start?

"Taggart, was born in 1970[34] while they were undergraduates at BYU and living in a basement apartment.[45] Ann subsequently gave birth to Matthew (1971) and Joshua (1975). Benjamin (1978) and Craig (1981)"

They are all over 30, have families and kids and have all served Mormon missions already. If there was another draft in 2014 that followed the same age range as before (18-38), then only Benjamin and Craig would qualify.

There won't ever be another draft, though. Not unless we go to war with Eastasia or Eurasia. What's the point of troops when we can launch missiles from anywhere in the world from any distance with pinpoint accuracy?

.

Weren't there a few in romneys family who SUPPORTED Ron Paul?

If they did, I am sure that they would do the honorable thing.

Man, I wonder if romney even associates with them anymore, lol.

If i was an US citizen i would also not 'serve'

The US is not under threat whatsoever. The military is a way out of poverty for most.
All you do is 'serve' the military complex.
Now serving your country against a real enemy, that i would do.

Maybe it is time to have a draft again, people will then be confronted what it is to 'serve'.
With a draft all these wars would not even be started.

You can call them 'coward', but i say that they know what is going on and are not desperate enough to 'serve'.
I would say that is a smart decision.
Wish more people had that knowledge.

No, we absolutely do not need a draft.

And realistically, I think the draft has become a "third rail" of politics. Remember, the warmongers in power all lived through Vietnam and saw the disaster that draft was.... none of them would have the balls to tell the American public that they're going to be shipped off to war.

Also, they don't need the draft anymore. Not with a media full of unquestioning cheerleaders with their pom-poms out, ready to start pumping up gullible neocons for our next unwinnable, unconstitutional war.

I don't play, I commission the league.

Good Mormons, like their dad

no doubt they will feel the call of duty to serve their fellow men on dangerous holy missions to benighted heathen places like France and Tahiti.

Tahiti??!?!?!

Ohhh the horror!!

LOL Of course not

Romney is a coward and so are his sons...

But worry not, Romney will not win..

Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Mark my words. Mitt will not

Mark my words. Mitt will not win, barring continued Obama "debate" failures.

.

It is a DISGRACE not ONE of them, or their draft dodging father, has served!

"OH NO! He has a SON?" Neoconservatives and Liberals EVERYWHERE!

AND, I will address the same question to Pres & Mrs. Obm:

"Will your two daughters fight in the PRESENT and next wars???"

Now that Mittens is calling for...

more armaments be sent to support the Syrian rebels (and escallate this into a full-blown regional war), I would suspect the boys will either: 1. Go on some Mormon missionary adventure, 2. Run the talk show circuit to pump up the fear, or 3. Run to a family mansion in Canada to hide from Mitt's new military draft.
"Carpet bombing in the name of Jesus"...Amerika is a just and fair country, isn't it?

Go... Yes. Fight....No

They will proudly put on uniforms and stand in front of cameras... and then Daddy will make sure they are assigned out of harms way, as the assistant to some general requisitioning new instruments for the military bands or supplies for the commisaries.

of course not--

after the years I've spent trying to wake up my neo-conservative family and friends, I almost hope (though I think he'd be worse than Obama) that Romney becomes president; THAT will wake up the neo-conservatives--

when they see that:

--the economy gets worse

--this nation is devastated by war even more than now

it will be too late--

but how else will they wake up?

:(

I am probably just being cynical right now, but I'm so tired of that man and his ill-gotten gains.

And his sons are no better.

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

No. They are pansy rich boy sissies like their dad.

Pigs, just like their papa.
