Rand Paul's Rand PAC Launches Ad Offensive Against Democratic Senators Over Foreign Aid

Daily Caller: Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul is running ads against Democratic senators who voted to continue foreign aid to Egypt, Pakistan and Libya.

The first two targets are Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Sen. Bill Nelson in Florida. Ads in other battleground states may be forthcoming.

“While they tear down and burn the American flag in Egypt and shout ‘death to America,’” the narrator in the West Virginia spot intones, “Joe Manchin votes to provide U.S. taxpayer aid to Egypt.”

That's some smart politics...

...if Rand attacked Republican Senators for their support of foreign aid, he'd be treated like his father. But since he's attacking Democrats, and right before a Presidential election, Republicans can't attack him for it - if asked, they'll have to actually applaud him for it. That's right, Rand has created a situation where Republicans will have to at least tacitly agree with criticism of the Empire.

I say again, smart politics....'atta boy.

Rand Paul didn't "launch" anything.

A political action committee called RAND PAC did. By law he is to have no contact with the people from PAC's and no say in their content. The DC needs to know this so they don't get things twisted. The people at RAND PAC have a great ad though.
