New Hampshire Recount - It's now or never!
Submitted by Average Joe on Mon, 01/14/2008 - 18:47I just received this from Albert Howard, the 3rd tier candiate who is willing to fund a recount in NH. The deadline for coughing up the money is tomorrow!
--------------------------------------
According to the official letter that Albert Howard signed,
the cost is $55,600 for the recount of approximately 240,000 ballots.
The Secretary of State must receive the money in the form of a certified check by 3 PM tomorrow January the 15th.
Go to http://grannywarrior.chipin.com/recount to donate. We need a major effort of all to raise this money by the deadline.
Spread the word, blog about it, send e-mails , get on the phone, do everything you can to make this happen.
When we have come this far, don't leave us hanging...
I trust you do your best.
Albert Howard

Anyone
got a 'real' total? The widget is showing the same figures I saw this afternoon. Maybe get a 'granny' on the blog?

$20.00
we need $19,000 more. If everyone on this site now gave $20
we would have enough

It may not be fair, but it must be done
Proving fraud will lead to Kucinich filing to stop the use of these Diebold machines in Mass, Conn and VT.
That is why we must raise this $20,000.
Do you really want Ron Paul to be cheated in 3 more states because of these machines?

less than $20,000 to go
For all of you who want to know YOUR vote will count, now is the time to donate. Lets get this done before Super Tuesday so we can focus on fundraising and winning the nomination.
This campaign did not start
This campaign did not start the recount, and I do not see why we,exactly, seem to be responsible for the money..it also seems like a LOT for 75-400 votes. AH decided to do it, surely he must have funds. I am not sure I get this.
It's 240,000 votes
The recount will take all the ballots from the machine precincts and recount them.
