Army to Congress: Thanks, but no tanks

The Army says it has too many tanks. The Army tells Congress how they can save taxpayers $3 billion by not building more tanks. Congress says no!

Unwanted Tanks

Though our military says it doesn't need the tanks, or that it has too many tanks already because of whatever-here is why I am not as upset as so many others: The military requests support, plans, and executes military strategy, but this strategy is based on policy, policy which is determined by Congress and the Administration. So, while this may be a case of waste, I just want to remind everyone that the military is rightfully under the control of We the People via our elected representatives. Maybe we do or maybe we don't need tanks, but we cannot let the military industrial complex, and the intelligencia industrial complex, both determine and execute policy, such is a recipe for a Ceasar crossing the Rubicon.

IT being the surplus tanks, and THEY being the wars for putting them to "use."

Seems like they're just trying to get the product off the shelf

They know their game is up so they're just trying to sell off as much "death toys" as they can so they can buy up as much gold as they can before the collapse.

More war is a given dream of theirs, that is until the people began waking up to their corporate interests and greed.

The man behind the curtain is just yelling louder at the people who see the little pathetic midget that really exists.

They are preparing for WAR!

In 1990 when the US Gov't was getting ready to kill Iraqi's for the US Gov't puppet's mistakes I had a relative working for FMC, who made the Bradley Tank.

I asked them if they we were going to war. She said without a doubt. We have a surplus of fighting equipment/shells and production has not stopped. It must get used because the parking lots are already full and we have no where to put more save a military conflict zone.

Do not allow your young relatives to go off and die for the Federal Reserve/Two Party System's mistakes. People who don't pay for their own mistakes will NEVER LEARN from them.

They will repeat them and repeat them for as long as there are others to die for them.

Oh Dear!

The military refusing to feed the military industrial complex? Where can we waste money now? The hungry monster must be fed! Oh, let's just start ANOTHER war where someone will need our weapons! Gotta keep cranking out those weapons! EVIL SOBS!

skippy

Trade unions

But they are happy when talk about greedy bankers and Zionists divert the focus.

Maybe

Maybe Israel needs them?

Maybe congress knows

Maybe congress knows something about the future that the Army doesn't know...

Wonder how Congress will feel when the army parks the tanks...

in front of the Capitol building?

No problemo

Congress will spend taxpayer money to buy tanks that the Army doesn't need, and then give more taxpayer money to our "allies" who can use it to buy the surplus tanks. : /

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

So, if I want to buy a tank

So, if I want to buy a tank now, will I get it at a highly discounted rate?
I mean, I think it would be kickass to drive to work in one of these things. Heck, traffic jams dont matter when you can go over top of them. hahaha And if someone wants give you the finger, you can give them yours, all dozen feet or so with the ability to shoot explosive shells out of it. haha

To climb the mountain, you must believe you can.

Good Idea Virginian

We should all start buying tanks and weapons like our local police. They won't tell us why they need such massive firepower so we have to use our common sense and begin to protect ourselves from the psychos who are "serving and protecting the hell out of us"

There in NO QUESTION I would feel MUCH safer if ALL the police and our entire Government would just STOP PROTECTING US. Lets vote on how many people would LOVE to see them all resign and let us fend for ourselves.

Congress will build them

Congress will build them anyway because they will watch the value of their portfolio rise as they sell each tank to a military that doesn't need them. They all have stock in the companies that makes this stuff. That's why they never vote against it.
