Pulse of The People: Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand should allow an audit of the Federal ReserveSubmitted by robrigo80 on Wed, 10/10/2012 - 17:50
"Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand is supposed to be the “Transparency Senator”. From her website:
“Transparency and accountability have been a hallmark for Senator Gillibrand, who became the very first member of Congress to post her official daily schedule, all earmark requests, and personal financial reports online.”
S.202, an audit of the Federal Reserve, a transparency bill, currently sits waiting in the Senate with 30 co-sponsors and the support of nearly 80 percent of the American people according to recent polling data. One would think that Senator Gillibrand, known for her belief in a transparent government, would be one of the 30 co-sponsors of S.202? Not exactly."
