France bans Muslims' political protests

Willing to move to France ?

Of Muslim faith ? Well, then you'd better not find ANYTHING offending you so much that would make you protest publicly, or you're out of luck :

Here's my challenge to the French socialist government and their accomplice media :

try to ban protests that would come from the Parisian zionist intelligentsia if they were offended.

Wait... Heck, no : you CAN'T DO THAT !

DOUBLE FACE. DOUBLE SPEAK. DOUBLE LAW.

I am a Christian and find this injustice against our Muslim brothers DISGUSTING.

Would you like your Bolshevism served hot or cold?

France is no different from the US or Britain. You can criticize everyone and anything except the Jews.

Luke 3:38
Isaiah 43:3-5

I have a problem with people protesting against free speech

Seems a bit hypocritical don't you think?

The whole thing is a strange paradox.

so let me work through this ordeal..

citizen group A has a right to protest - free to express his/her opinion

citizen group A's opinion is other citizens should not be free to express their opinion.

government steps in to disperse of citizen group A's protest preventing them to publicly exorcise their freedom of speech which ironically demands the silencing of other citizens freedom of speech.

it's just all together unreasonable and silly. Geesh!

I disagree with personal offensive protests. Why? because you personally have a choice to walk away.

Well, yes it would be : if it were only so, on the Muslims' end.

Problem is, in France, you have double standards :

you can spit all you want on Muslim faith, or even as different others such as the Catholic one, or Jehovah Witnesses' ... but you CANNOT, or I promise you you'll find yourself in big trouble if you DARE only debating some historical issues surrounding the Jews.

This is like there is one group, only one, you just CANNOT "touch".

Now, I ask you, as a Christian, MYSELF : what happened, there ?

Some retard decided, in all knowledge of what he was doing, EXACTLY, TO INSULT the Muslim faith AND cult.

Muslims, in France, KNOW they cannot do anything to even try to sue that person : thanks to the freedom of speech that protects satirists, as you said, exactly right.

Remember, though : you CAN mock Muslims, or Christians, in France, thanks to this freedom of speech. But don't touch the Jews. Just DON'T.

So, what did offended Muslims do, since they're not idiots and know about that freedom of speech of their attacker ? Well, they had to go out in the streets to at least SHOW and SPEAK OUT, in public, the offense made to their belief.

And what does the intelligentsia, the laicist, socialist government, and accomplice media do, in response to that ?

Just the usual propaganda : "ahh... you know, Muslims, they tend to be extremists real quick, look at 9/11, and all that ! We've got to contain them BEFORE it degenerates !"

And so they win :

Muslims are now PREVENTED, A PRIORI, to even protest PEACEFULLY in defense of their own belief.

But the Jews, or the atheists/laicists, for sure ... STILL CAN.

Just say something, ANYTHING, that can displease them.

Not only they can protest, but they'll find a judge to send you in jail or have you pay fines for the rest of your life.

Because of your being accused to be a RACIST. And France has anti-racist laws : you cannot say anything that encourages racism.

But oh so conveniently enough, these laws don't seem incompatible with seeing the protection of the Muslims faith against offenses (by peaceful assembly and protests) NOT AS IMPORTANT AS preserving the "public order".

I mean ... Woa.

So, how's that for hypocrisy ?

You're right : there is, INDEED, huge amounts of hypocrisy.

You just have to look into the right direction, my friend.

Are you living in France ? I don't. Though I used to, for 39 years, till 3 years ago. I know a bit the country I come, if anyone wonders.

Thanks for the clarification

Thanks for the clarification.

And, in turn, I can confirm you this has been going on for decades in France, in fact. The French have several of these complexes, also with their relations to money and morality.

A lot of hypocrisy indeed. And what the same socialist demagogues have done there against the Muslims (after using them, decades ago, when these generations of North Africa immigrants were useful to them and their access to power, via media propaganda "poor muslims vs. rich catholics" for instance) was just ... outrageous, to me.

These politicians bureaucrats really have no shame, no pride, no honor. WHATEVER WORKS is their motto. Then, steal, lesson, steal some more, lie, and write in laws new rules to be rigged, to steal always more out of the French middle class' sweat thru taxes.

The French ought to wake up too, some day. Really badly.

I sympathize with the unfairness that you write of

I agree the hypocrisy runs deeps.

It doesn't change my core belief or principle.

I am free to walk away from "things" I find offensive.

let's clarify my definition of offensive
2. Causing anger, displeasure, resentment, or affront: an offensive gesture.

I am not defined by someone's offensive remarks or drawings.
I am defined by my words, actions, principles.

I see no benefit in entertaining an ignorant, misguided, closed minded soul who likes to crack jokes at my expense. When you engage that behavior you allow the offender to win!

Please understand...
I condemn harassment, threats of violence, endangering the welfare of a child, coercion.. etc That's completely different and a protest worth engaging.

I'm not against any religious faith - only the acts of violence extremist of any religion may commit in honor of their faith.
I abhore and at the same time have compassion for the misguided - They may never be at peace.

and now I think I'm rambling but....Almost all the worlds religions have had their moments of poor leadership creating an atmosphere of violent coercion. So, they also all take turns being the victim. Man oh man... When will we, human beings across the globe, learn from our history.

Well, I have the same attitude as yours

Well, I have the same attitude as yours, matter of fact.

I'm not going to go in the streets if only because, say, some imbecile call and despise Jesus as a fraud in a journal that only his partisans buddies read anyway. I'll just ignore the hater. And I'll continue to believe in and praise my only True Lord.

But freedom of speech encompasses also the freedom of being offended and letting people know that you are so, especially when the law is SUPPOSEDLY neutral :

for instance, I can imagine myself going out in the street IF ONLY to say that abortion, for a "desired economic or social outcome" is wrong, and that I'm against any law that, if passed, would ask FOR MY MONEY to fund its projects, to take another sensitive though non strictly religious example.

This is a typical and easy example where the law stops being just, neutral, and becomes unjust instead. The Law perverted, that uses force for a group against another (in this example via property transfers to fund things I would morally condemn for myself).

But if the same abortionists do something I, and others, including atheists, consider immoral and against my beliefs in society, if they DO NOT enforce the implications of their questionable choice on me in any way ... so be it. Their choice, their call to go to hell. Which is no biggie because they'll usually don't even believe in it.

Everybody is happy then, I guess.

My point was :

Freedom of speech is the right to say whatever you find positive or negative, if only to attract public attention.

Put regulators, bureaucrats, and lobbyists in the loop ... and freedom of speech BECOMES AN ASSET that they'll want to control the investment thereof just like anything else.

And that, IMO, is immoral, unconstitutional, and typically : socialist, anti-liberty, of a planners agenda.

And, yes :

Peace. Indeed.
