Trusted news sites other than DP?
Submitted by mikecz on Wed, 10/10/2012 - 23:35Ok so first post here, any glitches, I apologize in advance.
While I love receiving all the updates, informative comments, and lively discussion here at The Daily Paul, I'm looking around for other trusted liberty sites to peruse. I've looked, and most have a neocon propaganda soaked filter written all over them. Not here, maybe not anywhere. Sometimes I find myself checking DP every couple of hours, (in line at the bank, at home in the office, at the local watering hole...), and would like a little variety.
I'm not at all trying to drive traffic away from this wonderful site (and I do mean wonderful in every sense of the word), I'm looking for some other options to become more informed. Either way, thanks for the time, and I appreciate any responses.
***Update... Thanks

Wenzel is good overall
I was going to post epj too. not to take anything away from the site or discourage anyone from ever visiting his site, but i am curious about what you think about him?
He just seems so darn snippy and arrogant some times...a know it all asshole.
Lew, Tom, Ron, and a whole lot of others are down right gentlemen...almost saint like...wenzel seems to have a short fuse.
I still visit his site like 10 times a day
"Arrogance"
Ron Paul is a total gentleman. Lew Rockwell rarely deals w/ people who he opposes. He interviews people on LRC whose work he likes and he gets interviewed on places that respect him (like RT, Brian Wilson, etc). Wenzel definitely does get snippy at times but he's more willing to "take on" people who he considers "establishment" and/or phonies. That said, he has been snippy at times w/ those who might not be considered establishment (his interview w/ Gary Johnson - who I know some consider to be "establishment" comes to mind). I think basically he's kinda fed up and is doing the "no more Mr. Nice Guy" thing. Sometimes he might overdo it but I think in this era of political correctness, it's probably a good thing that he errs on the side of being a little too aggressive (with the goal to "fight for what's right"). He's only fighting with words, after all.

He's the author of the incredible book Family Of Secrets (about the Bush family). I highly recommend listening to this interview (there are 8 parts but start on part 1 and see if you get hooked. You can obviously break up your listening into multiple sittings):
