Biden Summed Up Why Obama Must Not Get Reelected.

The next president will most likely get to appoint TWO Supreme Court Justices.

Think about it. If Romney gets elected and puts two anti-Roe Justices on the Court, replacing two pro-Roe Justices, it will tip the balance, allowing the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade. Even if one of the Justices replaces one of the current anti-Roe Justices, it it will put us only one Justice away from having an anti-Roe majority.

However, if Obama is reelected, he will put two Justices on the Supreme Court who SUPPORT Roe v. Wade, thereby increasing the pro-Roe Supreme Court majority to as much as 8-1.

Yes, Souter was appointed by a Republican. Yes, Roberts ruled Obamacare legal as a tax (He did not expand the Commerce clause like the liberal Justices wanted.). But, do you want the entire Supreme Court to be made up of Ginsburgs, Kagans, and Breyers?

Folks, if Obama is reelected, NOTHING is going to stop him from forever putting a permanent, Progressive lock on the Supreme Court. With all due respect to Dr. Ron Paul, Peter Schiff, Lew Rockwell, and Dr. Woods, who sits on the Supreme Court for the next two to three decades is just TOO IMPORTANT to not care.

Please vote your conscience. But, please also keep in mind that when you vote, you're not just voting for a president, you're voting for two more Supreme Court Justices. Romney is naive and plain wrong on many issues, as were Bush Sr. and Bush Jr. But, I'll take Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito any day over Stephen Breyer and Ruth Ginsburg. Remember, Ginsburg doesn't even agree with our Constitution and recommended that a developing country not use our Constitution as a model.

The OP is young, and

The OP is young, and brilliant, but short sighted.

The liberty movement needs to grow to acquire critical mass. Better to have two more Ginsburgs on the court to serve as liberty movement lightening rods, than two more John Roberts, to lull us into a false sense of security.

Supreme Court is a joke

The Supreme Court has proven that, when push comes to shove, its foremost duty is to protect the institution of the state. And to that end, it is beholden to the executive branch, which now arbitrates state policy. Whether we have this or that justice, I do not think we can expect the court to ever overturn any of its prior decisions, especially not those which have steadily increased the power of federal government.

At this point, I don't care who wins.

Whatever happens, happens. This whole nation needs a reset.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

I'm trying to imagine how Obama appointees would be worse

Seriously. Do I want another gay-hating, fascism-adoring extremist? I know with either candidate that I'm going to get a corporatist, statist, anti-liberty goon.

Rmoney is anti-gun. Rmoney is pro-NDAA. Romney is pro-choice (proven track record despite his rhetoric). Romney is slavishly devoted to banksters even more than Obama. Rmoney doesn't support eliminating Obamacare, he just wants to tweak it into an even-further-pro-insurance industry Rmoneycare.

I've pledged to write in Ron Paul. The only way I'd consider breaking that pledge was if Gary Johnson was on the cusp of restoring major party status in Massachusetts for the LP. As of now, my vote is going to Ron Paul.

I took the isidewith.com poll.
Gary Johnson 97%
Mitt Romney 41%
Jill Stein 28%
Barack Obama 11%

In Real Life, undoubtedly Mittens is down below Jill Stein--except that he is a b*stard lying SOB about his true positions. He will not audit the fed, he will not cut spending, he will not cut the deficit. He will not cede any federal authority back to the states.

Take back the GOP and Restore America Now.

Romney made tens of millions

with his investment in a firm that incinerates aborted babies, so tell me again how he's pro-life?

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

Well, it looks to me like

maybe you should be working harder to get a third party candidate elected. Blah, Blah, Blah, we must not election Obama...blah, blah, blah....hell most of us said that four years ago, too. So What? Does that mean we're supposed to vote for Romney? BAH!

More harum-scarum from Dixie.

Dixie - once again . .

this isnt the Dailyromney or Beck's 9/12 site.

Well,

this isn't the Anonymous website either. What's your point?

my point is . . .

that your point was, we should do whatever we possibly can to keep obama out.

i.e. the typical neocon war song to vote romney.
If you think romney will help anyone or be better than obama, you have alot to learn. the poster before me also pointed out the blantantly obvious history that "conservative" nominations to the supreme court dont exist. THAT is another excellent propaganda job that many americans buy into.

BULLSH*T

Republicans already nominated a load of recent appointments to SCOTUS.

You think those appointments supported the Constitution?
Don't make me laugh.

You think Romney would appoint anti Roe vs Wade justices?
Romney couldn't care less about abortion, except where it might make him money.

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

What are you doing here? You

What are you doing here? You still believe the left-right BS! Mitt is a LIBERAL! While governor, Mitt appointed only 9 Republican judges, and they were all LIBERALS! He appointed 27 non-Republican judges! 14 Democrats, and 13 no declared party! Either of these NWO Liberals will pack the court with Progressives! This is a lost cause you are pushing! If you are really buying Mitt's recent pro-life conversion, you need to get on over to the Romney2012.com website pronto, while there is still hope for you to be replugged into the matrix! Even the "Conservative" John Roberts comes down AGAINST the Constitution whens he is needed to betray the republic!

Dixie Paleo Con seems

Dixie Paleo Con seems obblivious to the incongruence between pro Life and pro War. Romney is no better than Obama, and if you think that Romney will end abortion in America, you are delusional.

To those that are PRO LIFE

I think we have bigger problems right now then abortion. So put your big boy/girl panties on and get a grip. We have a lot of work to do to make this world a place where children can live, grow and prosper. Even God himself allowed freedom of choice to follow or not. Don't think for a minute that you can make a judgement on this issue when you don't have all the facts. This issue has divided us from getting a lot of other things accomplished. Time to put it to bed and work on things that we can find concenses on instead of beating this dead dog. There are a lot of reason's that people make the hard decision not to give birth to a child. You may make all the moral arguements that you want but it still gets back to Individual Liberty. I consider myself Pro-Life but I also consider myself Liberty minded. I could care less if a man marries another man or a woman marries another woman. I don't think that I should be able to dictate my beliefs onto my neighbor on whether they should or should not have an abortion. This is a private decision that should be hard enough for them to make without anyone one of us attempting to impart our beliefs or thoughts onto them without being asked first.

The US being turned into a fascist authoritarian state is far

more important than abortion.

Goldman Sachs WANT you to debate abortion.
The DON'T WANT you to argue against the Federal Reserve or Fascism.

Don't get distracted.
Concentrate on the REALLY important stuff.

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

What's sad

Is that they play these same distraction games every election and each and every time people fall for it.

I agree with your pragmatism.

It is because of the fact that I believe in accomplishing things that we can build a consensus on first that I am voting for Mitt Romney. You shouldn't swing for the fences and strike out when you can get a base hit.

However, what other issues do you think would be easier to build a consensus on other than overturning Roe v. Wade? Granted there are a few, but, none of them are going to get accomplished voting for unelectable, third party candidates.

As far as not pushing your personal, moral beliefs on other. The Bible says "thou shalt not steal." Is it statist for me to believe that the government should use force against people who steal other people's property?

On voting for unelectable

On voting for unelectable candidates; if it turns out the reason Romney loses is because enough people do just that, it will change the GOP for the better. At some point in the GOP's mad dash to become a bona fide socialist party, reasonable people have to draw a line in the sand. The fact that the DNC manages to stay a quarter inch ahead of them in that particular race notwithstanding.

Romney and Obama are so much alike, that picking one over the other amounts to about as much difference as picking some guy who wants to gas 6 million jews, versus one content to gas 5.99 million of them. And then arguing that people should vote for the latter instead of someone who wants to get out of the gassing business altogether, just because the 5.99 million guy has a greater chance of beating the 6 million guy than the gas free guy does. It's nuts!

Taurus feces false

Taurus feces false argument...previous to OBAMA's white house and any new appointees, the majority of supreme court justices were appointed by republican presidents...and at no time did they EVER try to vote down Roe vs Wade. it has always been a false argument..not real..not true...not even close..

"and the truth shall make you free"
John 8:32

Yeah, I'd hate to get more justices like Roberts.

Oh wait . . . .

Roberts is better than anyone Al Gore would've appointed.

Roberts didn't really change the interpretation of the Constitution one iota with his ruling on Obamacare. He just reinterpreted the understanding of the bill. Would you have rather had the decision 9-0 in favor of expanding the commerce clause, giving the feds the explicit constitutional right to force every breathing American citizen to enter into a particular commerce? That's what would have happened if it weren't for libertarians voting for the lesser of two evils in 1988, 2000, and 2004.

Nonsense.

Roberts is a collectivist. The People's Court, no matter which color hat occupies the Oval Throne, er, Office, will ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS increase the power of the Party. On one issue or another there will be a few ultimately meaningless dissents, but the result is always the same. Did you not get that memo?

And btw, Roberts does indeed suck.

Please explain the logic

Please explain the logic behind why you think a Liberal like Romney would appoint a conservative SCJ?

Haha. Romney is only a liberal when it benefits HIM.

Like I've said before, Romney is like the free market. He has very few actual personal ideological convictions. He's a professional businessman and politician. There are certain things he will NOT be able to politically renege on once elected. One of those things is granting states a waiver in implementing Obamacare and repealing it if the Senate passes a repeal bill. Another thing he won't be able to politically do is renege on his pledge to appoint strict Constitutionalists to the Court. Republican voters are not going to support a Mitt Romney reelection if Romney supported Obamacare or appointed Progressive, loose-constructionists to the Court once he's elected. He would face a stiff primary challenge that would either cost him the nomination or cost him the general election if he managed to tear the party apart enough to beat his primary challenger.

Then there's the Senate that has to confirm the appointees. No president is going to appoint a Supreme Court nominee that would get more support from the opposing party than from his own. That would be intraparty political suicide.

When was the last time any

When was the last time any sitting President was challenged by his own party in a primary? I honestly don't know.

If that's the only thing that is going to make Romney uphold his "pledges," then may God have mercy on our souls.

Ron Paul 2012

Jimmy Carter was challenged by Ted Kennedy

in 1980 and after a deeply, dividing Democratic primary, Reagan beat the snot out of Carter.

George Bush Sr. was challenged by Pat Buchanan in 1992 after pulling to the center, failing to get Roe v. Wade overturned, and breaking his promise of "no more taxes." After soundly defeating Buchanan and then running a lackluster, moderate campaign against Clinton, many Conservatives bolted for the door called Ross Perot or stayed home and Bill Clinton won with a plurality.

Thanks!

Thanks!

Lets get one thing straight

Romney is a professional CROOK.

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."
