True Americans Threaten NATIONWIDE boycott of FLYING to protest the TSA!

It started right here, right now.

The ONLY way to get the TSA OUT of airports and expose them for the groping pedophiles and inhumane beasts they are is to hurt the airlines where it counts... in their pocket books!

They will soon provide their own security once we do this.

DO NOT FLY on THANKSGIVING!

No turkeys, no tickets!

I'm in on This

Considering I am boycotting air travel until they completely get rid of the TSA I am already doing this on Thanksgiving and every day.
Riding a bus across the country kind of sucks, but I've done it about a half dozen times now. I'll just quit traveling by anything other than a carpool if the TSA gets into the buses.

Plausible new applicant / TSA job candidate

Well, I'm sure she'd love getting a job at the TSA :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpAOwJvTOio

if only because she observably loves, also, getting free stuff paid for by other people once in a while. She'd be p*ssd to be out of work because of this initiative, OP ! She'd have to look for a REAL job instead... Oh, wait. Maybe not... Not even bother.

Anyway...

He, however, is out of luck for working there, ever :

Having a brain and constitutional values is a big blocker.

But that's fine : I don't think he can ever regret to miss this sort of career opportunity.

Bear.

Good Luck, I hope it succeeds. But...

...who is going to protest? No one did the last time a protest was supposed to be made nationally. Air travel is a necessity, not a luxury, for most fliers. For them to not fly, if even for day, could be too costly to endure financially or a day not visiting relatives. The groping is a necessary evil that they will endure to accomplish the purpose served by using an airline to travel whether it is a business trip or visiting relatives.

A one day protest won't hurt the airlines enough for them to fight the federal government to get the already entrenched TSA out of the terminals.

It only takes one to KEEP AMERICANS FREE. Know your duties & rights as a juror. Stop the unconstitutional conviction of innocents in federal custody. The Fully Informed Jury CALL 1-800-TEL-JURY www.fija.org IMMEDIATELY if not sooner. It's that important.

Last time I flew on an airplane

The last time I had to fly was in 2001 when I had to take an emergency flight to Fla. to help my mother who was ill. I never liked flying and now having to deal with the TSA would make it unbearable for me. I much prefer to drive and my family and I have been in almost every state in the US by car. I find it the most enjoyable way to travel and we have met so many wonderful people along the way.

Catch-22, Agenda-21

They don't want us to travel "freely" anymore.

Damned (if you do and if you don't)

Which came first, the mouth or the rectum?

It is a running joke

in my family that mom will never, ever fly again because of TSA.

No long distance vacations for us...unless we can afford a private jet, which is highly unlikely.

Buses are cool too. Just stock your own snacks.

The market needs to offer an alternative.

More customized buses and shuttles for long distance are necessary, since it is a traveling nation. For now we have only federalized railroads, and the TSA is moving in on those too. RonVans anyone?

Great idea....

Though, I suspect that the makers of the naked body scanners have more political clout than the airlines. Hopefully that's not the case.

I had a nightmare I was at an airport

and I was terrified of the TSA.

In my dream, I thought of disguising myself asa muslim in hopes of using PC to avoid a grope down.

Stop flying all together.

Do not PAY the airlines to strip you of your rights, or they will keep doing it.
I have not flown for many years now, and I am still living a full and rewarding life, and enjoying traveling with no radiation or sexual assault at all.

Love or fear? Chose again with every breath.

Agree.

I don't fly either. My life continues on just fine...

Good idea

but highly unlikely that the masses will do it.

Here is an idea: (based on what I already do)
OPT OUT. If everyone were to Opt Out of the body scanners, we could win a huge victory against the TSA.

Positives:
FORCES them to grope you. Put yourself in their shoes, which of you would want to do that job? Not me, that's for sure. You think it's humiliating for you, what about them?

Causes long lines, and gets the sheeple angry at the TSA (not you). You actually have a good excuse like: "hey buddy, you can get mad, but I read a study that these things cause cancer, I'm not going through that thing!"

Follow up the anger with letters to the Airlines. Missed flights, inept security, TSA - fail. Tell people in line: "yeah, I'm going to let ______ airlines know how I feel about these lines. I know that they could fix it."

Negatives:
Causes long lines. Those who would do this would need to plan for a longer trip through security.

There is a girl that was interviewed on Alex Jones that has started a nationwide "Opt out and Film" campaign.

skippy

I'm down those TSA body

I'm down those TSA body scanners made me sick after going through.

im sure the Congress...

would just give the airlines a big fat subsidy to cover "emergency security measures"

i used to think we could get rid of the TSA with activism and lots of video. but the media has even shown alot of TSA abuses, and apparently most Americans dont give a sh!t. disbanding the TSA would be a real victory for the people. but it's going to take multiple states kicking them out, period. but the system always has their shills in high places, and all kinds of methods of pressuring legislatures, like in Texas last year. if so-called conservatives allow their women and children to be groped and virtually strip-searched, we are a broken people

i think we are just about at a tipping point with these lower than whaledung scumbags...

a little more bad publicity would spill over into checkpoints, too

its coming, can you feel it?

the good, the bad, and the ugly and the more we can get True Americans to understand, the better off we'll be when the shtf!

as a point of contention with me, jtw, who is the congress and whose money will they give the airlines?
we know that answer...your money, my money, our money!

That might work if the TSA restricted themselves to airports....

but what about the VIPR teams showing up on buses, trains, highways, etc?

If I may suggest a nonviolent solution (hey, I'm easy), obtaining a personnel list of all TSA employees and their families and posting it on the INTERNET would do wonders toward creating vacancies.

thats a MUCH better idea, bob...

I tried this to get a list of TSA employees

So far, I have hit a dead end. However, I may keep looking.

Until then, enjoy this tidbit from 2008.

Hmmmm..decent wages?

If you want "decent wages", presumably you speak of those that a family can live, invest, and retire on...you'll have to have skills beyond stocking shelves, buffing floors, folding clothes or running cash registers.

These are jobs that are relatively, unskilled in nature and hardly deserving of the kind of wages that would require the price increases and resultant loss of competitiveness for a company/business to affect the presumed needs listed above.

"People" start...or invest in...companies to earn money, or receive returns for the use of their money. Maximizing those returns, like in your own retirement account, is central to what entrepreneurship and investment is all about.

Are there "jobs" that are worth more than people are getting paid to perform them? Maybe. But if somehow one is dissatisfied with the "return on time" that they are receiving, it is up to them to find a better return. If their "time" isn't worth more, it is up to them to find either a place that values their time more, or skills that will command a better return.

Sorry, I can't get with your slavery talk as the decision to work at Walmart is a voluntary one, and holding a gun, real or proverbial, to the head of someone you have made a deal with, simply because you value your time more than the person YOU made the deal with...after the fact...well...

Wha? .....hey....who stole my country?

Recent Good unemployment Report

unemployment rate is going down. However, a deeper look at the numbers shows that new jobs are primarily in the service sector. Design and manufacturing jobs continue to shrink. More and more peole, from the cab driver - to the repairman - to the retail clerk and the casino worker, are settling for service type jobs. As the money is funnelled into the pockets of the wealthy by the Federal Reserve Policies, more and more qualified people are settling for positions that involve waiting on the rich folks. This IS slavery- wage slaves. Unless America is able to regain it's manufacturing base, waiting on rich people will require a college degree and will be the only job out there- except of course the manufacture and distribution of our beloved drugs - and I'm talking about pharmaceuticals.

In this, that slavery exits, I do not argue...

Having said this, regaining an industrial production base as a path out of the current slavery paradigm is a canard...as it is the monetary system, put in place and propped up by the corrupt in the political system, which is in turn propped up by the very slaves you refer to...supporting the system's designers, benefactors, and enforcers, that takes me back full circle to the fact that the "slavery", as it is referred to, is not the responsibility of the employers that service sector workers make their deal with...

The canard is framed in the fact that, even if manufacturing jobs return en masse, they in and of themselves, will only make existence more difficult for the low payed service sector crowd given that the resultant increased economic activity for those lucky enough to land the manufacturing jobs, in the face of fractional reserve lending system (that which now waits with over filled gas tanks at the ready) will light up the fires of inflation...further crippling the hand-to-mouth crowd and paradigm that will be smoke screened in the lagging pay increases to this sector.

Sadly, this "mouth eats tail" paradigm is completely and wholeheartedly the resultant responsibility of the slaves themselves...for who else wants to watch football, and dancing rather than engage the slave masters? Who is it that rubber stamps the paradigm by backing "THEIR" team's players who proposed and implemented things like NAFTA/WTO/IMF/Federal Reserve (pick your poison here) and who is it that waves flags, sends their children off to die in foreign deserts, and votes to place the slave masters enforcement minions into their lording positions?

Who is it that, under the guise of nicety and fairness for all, or in protection of all (again fill in the blank here) clamors for pabulum for themselves at the expense of others...pabulum which can only be provided for by the promulgation of the current monetary/political state of affairs?

I know it is sick...but hey...it is what it is. And until all can awaken to this, the paradigm will continue and the goofiness of blaming the fruits of our own unpaid labor, labor that attempts to game the system for undeserved benefits or safety guarantees...for the burdens it places on our paid labor providing for us is...well...pretty freakin' myopic, and such thought and hand-wringing will never change the paradigm.

The path to locating, demonizing and vanquishing the culprits in this...begins in the mirror.

Wha? .....hey....who stole my country?

See my reply above...

so who is it being raped? It's the person who has taken off all of their clothes and donned fishnet stockings while painting their lips bright red, laying on the bedspread smiling with their legs spread wide and giving the come hither look...that's who.

And it is their mother, father, big brother, big sister and friends that held their hand as they too prepared for their own tryst...for they are all using the same changing room and the bed still has room...

Wha? .....hey....who stole my country?

Why don't you...

...go regale OWS with your tales of Walmart "slavery."

Anyway, OP, love the idea of an airline boycott. One of those ideas you know is good because it makes you ask: why didn't anyone think of this before?

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

They have...

There was a Thanksgiving a few years ago where the MSM (I believe it was Fox) had a reporter standing outside, I believe it was JFK. It was six in the morning, and nobody was there. While the reporter was talking about all the people who were going to visit friends and family on Thanksgiving, the airport behind her was empty. This was the only report from an airport the entire day. I watched the entire day knowing that there was someone calling for an internet boycott.

Remember LAX and other airports turning off the scanners on Thanksgiving? Boycotting airlines on Thanksgiving works, it's just not reported. What really works is to think of every day as Thanksgiving day and don't fly until the TSA is out of the airports. I haven't flown since my last run in with the morons at the TSA in Phoenix, that was 2007.
