Why are we creating Government-Owned Millionaires with Subsidies?!

I think Ron Paul would love this rant. Why indeed? Why do we create millionaires with government subsidies who are then owned by the government?

Jason Lewis: Garrison Keillor made his living off the back of the taxpayer on Public Radio. Why are we subsidizing him and many other millionaires?!

Talk Show Host Jason Lewis expressed disgust at the fact that a big fuss is being raised by the Obama presidential campaign over cutting government subsidies to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and PBS and asked the question: “How many millionaires do taxpayers have to create via the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, whether its (Garrison) Keillor in radio or whether its Ken Burns in PBS?”

the advent of cable. I say this even though I watch a lot of public broadcasting and listen the NPR.
