If any of us still wonders "WHO" won...

If any of us still wonders "WHO" won,

well, I would say that we can, hassle-free, just point to the correct answer (A+ grade !) prior provided, independently :

1. Formal remark-

it is not "WHO" won, but, rather : "WHAT" won;

2. Semantic result-

and here is the WHAT,

the answer to the now well-formed question :

Credits : Sovereign Forever.

How can someone "Win"

Someone could only win a debate if the judging audience had exactly the same, homogenous worldview, priorities and opinions, and then the debaters would be judged on how well they lined up to that single worldview.

Oh, that's right. they are the same.

The Presidential Reality Show

Romney 1

Obama 1

The next debate is a tie.

Video has been made private, replacement:

Look at how small, and undoubtedly controlled, that 'audience' is!

Obama won !

Obama needs four more to send this Neocon turd and all these Mittens Romney RepubliCANs on this forum back from which they came from.......Rand Paul 2016 !!!
You should listen to talk radio this morning. All the Rominee Radio shills are frothing at the mouth about Obama winning, even going off on honest callers just calling in to tell it like they saw it....
I cant wait to see these crap bags lose this election! If the Liberal Rominee wins, we will never see another conservative come out of the Rethuglican party......

"If ever time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin."
Samuel Adams

Both did a good preparotory work and performed well.

Both actors (Obama and Romney) play to the their base and the larger audience at the same time. This is a delicate rational dance considering USA population's state of mind, on average.

Let's imagine Romney were RP and had said to the audience: "Your individual liberties come from private property. Individual liberty will bring prosperity via hard work and saving. As a champion of liberty I will fight to remove regulations and taxes from private property. You will suffer 3-10 years, but we will restore capitalism and free society." The audience would laugh thinking: "how stupid that man and his ideas is, we have already exposed capitalism abuses of the past. Big business and the rich must be regulated and taxed. And besides, who wants to work in sweatshops like Chinese?"

And we, RP supporters, can always cast our longing glances elsewhere - Zionists, Illuminati, Bilderberg, Rothschild, banksters, fluoride.

Damn, missed it again! ;D

And I'll bet there was plenty of debate over the Fed, NDAA, Patriot Act, TSA, Hayek vs. Keynes, US Constitution, intervention vs. non-intervention foreign policy and much, much more of the like.

How riveting it all must've been.

If men are good, you don't need government; if men are evil or ambivalent, you don't dare have one.

Two lying politicians never answering any questions...

They both might as well be selling cars.

Even car salesmen have more credibility.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

Romney is so blatantly dishonest

Obama was good but I'm still voting Johnson. Obama likely smokes Romney in the election.

Screw the Keystone pipeline we have plenty of energy here without sending more bucks to Canada so they can have heatlhcare. Christ sakes we already pay their defense bill.

Government is supposed to protect our freedom, our property, our privacy, not invade it. Ron Paul 2007

Predictably, no mention of the Federal Reserve System...

I've been watching the re-run to see if they asked any questions on the Federal Reserve. No such luck. One girl did ask about "wage equality". I'm sure Ron Paul could have brought the FED in on that question.

These debates are sorely missing Gary Johnson. I really believe he would win if he were allowed to debate. Also, I have heard no mention of the NDAA, the Patriot Act, Internet freedom, abolishing the IRS, abolishing any departments of government, or the $60 billion of foreign aid we send out every year. I really hope the people wake up before the collapse. It would be so much easier if they would.

The American people have become brainwashed

into believing that we have to have the government help people pay for education, help people pay for healthcare, help people pay for their house, and help people find jobs that it has become political suicide to advocate free markets. We've got a ton of work to do if we're ever going to get average, ordinary American citizens on the street to support free market solutions to our problems.

The guy's not even in the same league as Obama. In this “debate” Romney plays the part he was groomed for. Obama leans back in his chair, “go on...” as Romney walks into the wood-chipper. I'm asking myself why I even care and a sense of nausea sets in. The finale is accompanied by repeated mantra “Government doesn’t create jobs” ensuring that meme goes down in flames with Romney.

That reminds me. I can watch Prometheus again this weekend because the DVD pack I bought includes an alternative ending; how clever - and entertaining.

Prometheus... mmm... That

Prometheus... mmm... That movie was as big a mess as this debate.

I watched the debate and

I watched the debate and witnessed a huge ass kicking tonight. You neocons and trolls are not going to like it but Obama won hands down. Glad to see it because I want Romney to lose by a close vote. According to the GOP leaders, we Ron Paul supporters are not relevant in this election. I beg to differ.

Ugh, were you even watching the same debate?

Romney obliterated Obama on the economy and Obama looked like an emotional wreck when he lost his cool on Libya. Plus, I haven't had time to fact-check Obama on his Libya claim, but, I've seen the comments section on several mainstream media sites inundated with claims that Obama flat-out lied about his saying the Libya attack was a terrorist attack at the Rose Garden. But, even if he didn't lie, why didn't he label it a terrorist attack to the American public? That's something that will make the rounds over the next two weeks.

Obama was definitely better-prepared and pulled out a few crushing zingers. But, Romney certainly didn't "lose."

Evidently not. Romney lost

Evidently not. Romney lost the race last night. BTW: I will be voting for Gary Johnson this election.

Already confidently cast my

Already confidently cast my vote for Gary. I'll sleep better no matter who wins at this point.

Did anyone else...

Did anyone else watch Candy Crawfish throwing Obama lifelines...

yeah, the softballs and leading questions were in good supply.

On the other hand, when given the opportunity Obama hit those softballs out of the park (at least rhetorically). Both of them lied their way through the night, but Obama had help, and was smoother. Romney did do a major shift on his tax policy which cut off the whole "tax cuts for the rich" meme below the knees, but ti was too little too late. Obama wins on style both of them lose on substatnce, and as usual the American people will end up paying the bill.

If I put on my sheeple

If I put on my sheeple goggles for a minute and try to pretend I haven't woken up to the parties' sameness, it feels like Romney won it. I could only stand about 20 minutes of it though... Obama appeared child like and there is nothing he can say/do that takes away how quickly this country has declined in four short years. QE-infinity?? And yet no talk of the Fed, debt monetization, pointless war, idiotic FDA EPA DOEd DOEn HUD, no NDAA, drone wars, Homeland Security...Nothing. Just garbage. Romney doesn't touch them why? Because he believes in them, all of them.

Imagine if Dr. Paul had been on stage.

Did not bother to watch or listen on local radio..why?

you said it:

"And yet no talk of the Fed, debt monetization, pointless war, idiotic FDA EPA DOEd DOEn HUD, no NDAA, drone wars, Homeland Security...Nothing. Just garbage. Romney doesn't touch them why? Because he believes in them, all of them".

And the moral of the story is ... The Communist VS The Socialist

Neither of their plans add up. Sorry Obama, you've proven that you're a Lair. No, no, A LIAR (Guantanamo???, ......). Sorry Mitt, based on your record, you can debate YOURSELF...

Unemployment, wars, spending, unconstitutional involvement in other country's affairs... Both of them fail. Big time. No, no... BIG TIME.
