Pat Buchanan mentions Ron Paul on Drudge front page

http://wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=59693

Since it began to give credit ratings to nations in 1917, Moody's has rated the United States triple-A. U.S. Treasury bonds have been seen as the most secure investment on earth. When crises erupt, nervous money seeks out the world's great safe harbor, the United States. That reputation is now in peril.

Last week, Moody's warned that if the United States fails to rein in the soaring cost of Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, the nation's credit rating will be down-graded within a decade.

Our political parties seem oblivious. Republicans, save Ron Paul, are all promising to expand the U.S. military and maintain all of our worldwide commitments to defend and subsidize scores of nations.

Democrats, with entitlement costs drowning the federal budget in red ink, are proposing a new entitlement – universal health coverage for the near 50 million who do not have it – another magnet for illegal aliens. Moody's is telling America it needs a time of austerity, while the U.S. government is behaving like the governments we used to bail out.

Pat's article also mentions Bain Capital

Did you notice this comment in Pat's article?:

"Bain Capital is partnering with China's Huawei Technologies in a buyout of 3Com, the U.S. company that provides the technology that protects Pentagon computers from Chinese hackers."

Bain Capital is the company co-founded by Mitt Romney.

Pat disappointed me just recently...

I've been a follower of his for quite some time... (well a faithful reader), he has some decent logic in regards to freedom.

However!

He assigned opposition to NAFTA to Huckabee ONLY, which is simplY not true. NAFTA's regulations and rules are something Dr. Paul has written against and spoken against quite often.

Dr. Paul has said that if you want free trade just get rid of all the things in the way.. NAFTA CREATED (with its many pages) something that is not very good for the U.S., and certianly isn't "real free trade."

With that said, if you go to Pat's web page it is FULL of Dr. Paul stuff.

how can Buchanan apologists continue to excuse him?

he wants to be our voice, but wants to make sure we get a neo-con or democrat in office......so...what...he can continue to BE OUR VOICE?

The mentions on his website do not impress me, I heard him chuckling on the radio with Hannity about Ron Paul and his supporters on the day of the Iowa Caucus.

I heard a Buchanan hugger explain the anomolies - "he is protecting his paycheck, he is an analyst now and needs to appear nuetral" PHOOEY! I thought he was concerned about the country and the direction we are going in!

And by not mentioning Ron Paul as a serious candidate, and not talking about him as having the answers to the problems he speaks of - that is NOT being nuetral, it is however very similar to the rest of the mainstream conservatives.
LOUDOBBS, BUCHANAN, and all the STRICT CONSTITUTIONALIST SMALL GOVERNMENT WAR MONGERS WHO LIKE FIAT MONEY - they are all the same. Worse than worthless.

Pat knows the deal

"First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win."

that he does. he needs to

that he does. he needs to put RP's name out there more

Amen Pat

Pat gets it, politicians don't except for our man Dr Paul. Step up Michigan, Iowa represented with 10% and then NH came in very close, we need 15-20% of that vote. Take off work and post signs and get to the voting spots. Make this happen. What have you done for Dr Paul today?
