    Well I thought he was

Well I thought he was referring to Goode's words not his speech.

It is easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled. – Mark Twain

    The real jokers are...

Jill and Rocky not Virgil Goode! Free! Free!

    Ron/Rand Paul 2016! Constitution Party 2016!

    They're living in a dreamland!

"Truth is Treason in an Empire that lies" - Ron Paul

Educate the masses, and win in the end.

I'm starting to like Virgil Goode

    A likeable guy, like Perot.

Are we watching the same debate?

He comes off quite unlikeable too me.

    Yes we are....

I thought he was going to do much worse than he is now.
This is confirming my vote for him!

    Ron/Rand Paul 2016! Constitution Party 2016!

I was simply commenting on his performance tonight

I hadn't heard him talk before.

    lol Jill Stein is killing

lol Jill Stein is killing me... I wish Tom Woods was up there to smack her ideas around!

"We gave high schoolers free education for a century and it worked great!"... so I guess high schoolers AREN'T graduating with a 3rd grade reading level now?

"You must be frank with the world; frankness is the child of honesty and courage...Never do anything wrong to make a friend or keep one...Above all do not appear to others what you are not" - Robert E. Lee, CSA

Seems to have the best platform imo.

    harsher drug laws?

Really? a "constitutionalist" for federal drug laws? I guess we'll just throw out the 10th and expand the commerce clause to give the federal government unlimited power like the progressives.

All I heard him say was that repeated use of the substance burns holes in the brain. Perhaps RP and his medical training background could elaborate more on this.

Besides RP is for allowing abortion in States that want to retain it. How is that Constitutional? Ie. Cruel and unusual punishment for a foetus?

I'm not even sure what you are arguing...

Is he going to fund the drug war?

If he cut's the funding the laws will have no bite, is that his plan?

    I doubt it...

Plus again, how can he call himself a "constitutionalist" and take this position?

well I agree spending money on "the drug war"

is not what we want. I am having a tough time between him and GJ. Now I know GJ is pro-choice, will he be spending any money to fund abortions?

edit: at 1:36 Virgil DOES say he would cut spending on the war on drugs

GJ still thinks abortion should be a state issue though...

And has stated Roe vs Wade was a bad decision.

So his legal stance on abortion is exactly the same as Ron Paul's.

so he would cut ALL funding to planed parenthood

Virgil clearly stated he would, I didn't hear that from GJ, is that his plan?

    Read my 2 list posts...

    Ron/Rand Paul 2016! Constitution Party 2016!

    I just did...

And I don't see any sort of rebuttal to what I've said above. So, why did you just waste my time? Do you actually have a point?

    what posts?

    link to them please

    Here it is...

1.balance the budget as soon as elected
2.no immigrants until unemployment under 5%
    3.end big money super PACS
4.term limits to allow gov reps to focus on the country, not campaigning
-others not said :end wars, get out of the UN, end IRS and all income taxes not just replace with a fair tax.

Drug use is small compared to the U.S budget
    A one issue voter

    Ron/Rand Paul 2016! Constitution Party 2016!

Not when you've been arrested for a victimless crime...

No immigrants? And why not? That's just protectionist idiocy. Who built this country, lol?

Also, I have no issue with Super PACs so to speak. I don't think there should be any limits on campaign contributions as that isn't even the problem. The problem is much more complex than this and deals more with lobbyists than anything else.

Term limits would have meant Ron Paul would have been out a LONG time ago before he would have ever been able to create the movement he did.

Drug laws are NOT a small thing, harsher drug laws are pure idiocy and society will suffer as a result.

Jill Stein is living in a dream world.

Stein: "Free college tuition for everyone."

    and forgive the existing

    Student loans.

That sounds attractive on the surface. But i took keynesian economics in college myself

I want someone to ask her

If everyone gets a free college education, who does she expect will work the jobs that don't require a college education?

And who will decide what colleges charge for their courses? Do the colleges just charge what they like and the tax payers pay it?

Way off - does she know how "Government" pays for things?

    No such thing.

    Colchester, New London County, Connecticut

I dont mean to rain on

I dont mean to rain on everyones parade but this is a joke.

2 of them are socialists. One is hardcore.

Virgil Goode is not a constitutionalist. Notice how he said he would still advocate for war as long as congress declared it? Just because Congress declares something doesn't mean its right.

Gary is the most reasonable, however, his line about corporate donors was silly. He has corporate donors of his own. He's a Beltarian. Although better than Bob Barr, he's still not good enough for me.

Excuse me for having high standards.

"Virgil Goode is not a constitutionalist. Notice how he said he would still advocate for war as long as congress declared it? Just because Congress declares something doesn't mean its right."

You need to differentiate between an unjust Constitutional (lawful) war vs. a just war. The POTUS is obligated to go to war if Congress declares it, even if it's a bad idea. However, the POTUS could intentionally prosecute the war in an incompetent way.

Good meaningful debates are held for us to FIND out such

individual difference! It is VERY gratifying to see their difference expressed openly. Rebuttals, which were agreed NOT to take place at D&R pony shows, are especially helpful in differentiating them.
