Did anyone else notice the
Did anyone else notice the global warming rhetoric among the 3rd party candidates? Why?
Only by the Green and Justice Parties
Note the global warmists were also pushing Free College :)
Was nice to see Socialists who were not trying to hide the fact that they are Socialists.
In practice both the Democrats and Republicans are Socialists (central planners), but both try very hard to hide it. The R's more so than the D's.

I totally agree. The Green
I totally agree. The Green and Justice parties ought to get educated in Austrian economics before pushing for 'free' education and 'free' this and that. It gets tiresome hearing their fluff about education seeing how ignorant they are in this regard.
Did You Notice Rocky Anderson Rebut Gary On The Budget?
He said it would devastate the economy to cut the budget during a recession.
I think we need a Constitutional Amendment requiring anyone running for office to read Henry Hazlitt's "Economics In One Lesson" and pass a test on its contents.
Commerce with all nations, alliance with none.--Thomas Jefferson

Note to the candidates, three words: East Anglia University.
at least they talked about the issues
not one mention in the Obama Romney debate about the drug war and the 60,000 dead in Mexico but they sure had plenty of time to talk about non issues like Iran attacking Isreal which will never happen unless the military industrial figures a way to profit off of it.
Gary and Jill I'll guess will be back next week. Goode was his typical xenophobe self but entertaining.
Government is supposed to protect our freedom, our property, our privacy, not invade it. Ron Paul 2007
I got the impression last
I got the impression last night that if Gary Johnson was in the real debate against Obama/Romney those guys would have gotten their asses handed to them. No wonder they don't let him in. That guy has some conviction in his voice. While I'd pick Ron Paul 10 times out of 10 over him, RP just doesn't have that kind of power and debate presence.
But the questions have to be
But the questions have to be asked in order for him to push the issues.
There's a reason why these candidates are on the fringe...
There's a reason why these candidates are on the fringe... they are horrible at delivery, amateurish, and not very interesting. I admit that Gary Johnson sounds credible than these clowns.
I wish we had more amateurs in DC.
The shinny pretty polished professionals suck.
Are you kidding?
Are you kidding? You're on a Ron Paul forum and you're saying the reason these guys are on the fringe is their own doing?
The reason they are on the fringe is because the media REFUSES to cover them or even acknowledge them. The same way they did Ron Paul when he was running for republican. Because corporate America doesn't like their ideas, and doesn't want them to be heard. Just like Ron Paul.
WOW!
I thought it was nice to see a candidate in "The Real" as opposed to this pre-packaged, bought and sold, fake crap, Obama/Romney are presented with. Perhaps you should vote for one of them instead as it is clear that you enjoy being lied to.
I AR-e in love with the Second Amendment!
Even though I don't support her positions,
Jill Stein is a very well spoken candidate. It was nice to see dignified behavior as opposed to belittling attacks.

well played, johnson
giving a shout out to Ron Paul, your hero (and mine)
the funny thing is, i'd take any of those four in the debate over romney or obama.
even the ones on the left seem less dangerous, more trustworthy and more dedicated to the American people than Mittens.
I'd never heard Virgil Goode
I'd never heard Virgil Goode talk live before and after doing so I think he fits the Constitution party stereotype I had in my mind.
Johnson was very on top of things throughout.
Southern Agrarian
Obamney wouldn't have had a chance in this debate
No wonder they didn't accept. They are both incapable of talking about anything that isn't scripted, or scrolled on a teleprompter.
it feels great to feel represented and have more than two issues
...talked about. you could sum up the two party debates into three topics out of the six hours of debating. While last night they did more than that in a third of the time. I've never had a sense of pride while watching the presidential debates and for once didn't get that disgusted shameful feeling.
ZIO fossile Larry KIng and his eye candy handler talking head
have no place in front of my eyes in any debate. Everything was great except Lary King and his eye candy, and the fact that it was not TVized for those sleeple who still watch one way tv propaganda.

Thanks Larry King!
I appreciated that Larry King added his weight to the debate. Maybe Larry King's presence made the difference between C-SPAN picking up the debate at the last minute or not. He was also good at preventing the candidates from running over their time. His technique was just to keep patiently talking after their time was up.
He may be well-known, but Larry
didn't seem to be thrilled about being there. He was more interested in cutting them off at the 2 minute mark. And, I found it insulting the 2 comments he made about these candidates having no chance but just that it's important for people to hear them. True or not, I thought it was in bad taste.
Larry was very generous with
Larry was very generous with his own time to do this. I would not shortchange him for doing something the mainstream has tried very hard to suppress.

I agree with you that it was very generous of him
to lend his time and name to the debate. I am curious what the viewership was on C-Span. I was just a little disheartened by the comments even though he was being realistic.
I beg your pardon
That "eye candy" was Christina Tobin who is the founder and chair of Free and Equal. You know, the organization which put together and financed this debate.
Again I stand corrected.
Now exactly why insider Lary King?
sovereign
Because Larry can attract
Because Larry can attract eyeballs. We need more eyeballs! :)

Giggles
Kudos to Christina Tobin for bringing us this debate, but I felt her giggling during prepared remarks a bit annoying. It seemed like she was overwhelmed that she had this stage and people were applauding her. That's a minor criticism in the big scheme of things, but am curious if anyone else picked up on that.
I also had to laugh during the drug discussion, when it appeared that Rocky was going off topic, and Larry King commented, "We're on drugs".
it was on CSPAN, which is on my basic cable channels
how was it not televised? the lighting and cameras were not up to par with the two party debates but you expect that with CSPAN.
A little disappointed
that the debate was listed as 'Public Affairs Programming' on my channel guide. That was probably Comcast's doing though. Should have been listed as the '2012 Presidential Debate'
I think it was Cspans doing,
I think it was Cspans doing, I had the same thing on my guide with time warner.
