Clown Act

Glenn Beck is nothing more than a clown along with his 2 idiot minons. Surprised he was carrying on a serious conversation with Rand.

I don't care what anybody says, but Rand is a good guy. He is sharp, and has the best interests of the American people and this Country in his focus. He isn't his dad, but he sure as hell was influenced by his Dad!!

If obama wins

We got this guy running for president a Peter schiff running for senate. That's my prediction

Senator Peter Schiff 2016

Because they ALL treated him like crap

If Rand only spoke to the talking heads that were nice to his dad, he'd be on maybe 3-4 television shows and a handful of radio shows, that's it. Now you can make the case that Glenn Beck took it to a whole notha' level and I'd have to ferociously agree with you, Beck is scum. And in addition to being rude/condescending he then totally hopped on the "Revolution/Constitution bandwagon" and basically stole all of Ron Paul's idea's and passed them off as his own. A double-backstab.

Rand, listen to your Dad.

Rand, listen to your Dad. He's right, you're wrong. There is no significant difference between Rom and O.

Glenn Beck is a Turd

Glenn Beck treated Ron Paul like crap. Why does Rand Paul give him any interviews?

To connect to Beck's listeners/viewers

Glenn is just one man with the following of many. People like Glenn can at least serve as conduits for the Truth.

So be it.

Because Glenn Beck really

Because Glenn Beck really likes Rand and would most likely endorse him if he ran for president. I don't like Glenn, but he has a large fanbase which could help Rand out.

Sometimes i wonder....

Whether Glenn Beck liking him even matters. Sometimes i get the funny feeling that what they say is largely scripted by some kind of think tank, they seem to have coordinated "opinions" a lot of the time and if it came time for them to possibly endorse a TRUE liberty candidate, like RP, would they? Could they? Even if they personally liked them and their idea's? I'm not so sure anymore...

Because not enough exposure

Because not enough exposure was a big reason why his father didn't take off in the polls like he should have. It doesn't matter who you get interviewed by, just get your name and face out there as much as possible. It's just marketing 101.

big bump

good stuff...

Some of us predicted that

Some of us predicted that Rand would be extremely active in "selling" Romney to us. We were pooh-poohed by the Rand apologists. Our prediction has come true, however. If only Rand was similarly active for his dad at the crucial state conventions earlier this year.

this may sound cold..

I do not believe Ron wanted the job. This campaign may have been to position Rand. Celeste was right.. Ron didn't have the fight in him to really take the fight to them. You can check my cred. I worked my ass off for Ron in 07-08.

I don't like writing this... but Ron was a lot different this campaign than the last. I could keep speculating but it seems to me the strategy was to position Rand and grow the base.

I'm not sure. I think that

I'm not sure. I think that Ron is sincerely pissed of at Rand and his betrayal. I also think that strategically it made sense, assuming the goal was to build Rand's base, for Rand to at least go through motions of supporting Ron until the convention. Had Rand done that, he could have still "made his move to the right" and not alienated us to the extent he has. As it stands, I, and many others, will NEVER forgive Rand, much less spend our limited funds to support him.

Having said that, I agree that Ron's campaign was remarkably lackluster and defeatist. He could still make up for some of it if he supported Johnson but he probably won't.

thats kinda my point..

He didn't have the fire like the last campaign. That points to a different goal, to me.

I forgave Rand once I realized the strategy. I'll campaign and vote for Rand in 16. Rand should have handled PR more responsibly. After going on hannity he should have been on with the judge or stossel afterwards. Dumb ass mistake. Instead he went on days later after people were pissed for a few days. Rand blew that.. he could have united the base.

Oh well.. we will see what happens next.
