Letter: His choice remains Ron Paul

SIOUX CITY | After careful consideration, listening to the debates, watching the endless T.V. ads, and reading numerous editorials supporting both sides, I have come to the excruciating decision that neither candidate, Barack Obama or Mitt Romney, deserve my vote.

I can't support Obama for his support of the evil Planned Parenthood and his pro-choice stance.

I can't support Romney for his support of the elite upper class like himself and the snub of the middle and lower class of 47 percent of Americans who he says don't matter.

Therefore, what is my choice? My choice from the start continues to be Ron Paul. Unfortunately Mr. Paul is not on the ticket because Americans are blind and the majority did not take time to listen to his positive, well- thought-out decisions on the economy, foreign policy, the rights of the unborn and a wide variety of other important issues.

I might as well be voting for Mickey Mouse as a write-in than vote for either of the Bozos running.

My vote is a write-in for Ron Paul.

Great thread, thanks for posting.

The letter writer speaks for a lot of us here at the DP.

my pleasure

Patriots like TMOT come to mind when I think about the great activists who plan to write-in Ron Paul's name.

An upvote

for you my friend. Frankly I'm baffled by people down voting someone who says that they are voting for the MAN to whom this sited is dedicated. Wow, are we under attack or what? - Must be doing something RIGHT.

It's YOUR VOTE, make it count in according to your own conscience.

Thank you robot999

You said it well quote:

"It's YOUR VOTE, make it count in according to your own conscience."

I respect people who vote by heart for the good doctor.

As you can see my comments and posts are heavily down-voted on the DP because I am seen by the trolls as the hardest working GJ activist.

Bashing GJ for some is the only work they do on DP.

Romney folks here most of whom pretend to be hard-core Ron Paul supporters are terrified of Gary Johnson preventing Romney from winning -- so they have to create false stories and they make youtube videos to attack GJ.

The attack articles they find are written by the same neo-con writers who for years wrote attack articles aginst the good doctor.

About GJ vs. RP write-in.

I know several hundred well known activists in the Liberty Movement.
Not one of them support write-in campaign.
Not one.

We understand that good showing by GJ on Nov 6th will make the Liberty Movement stronger.

Neo-cons from the corrupt GOP are terrified of a good showing by LP ticket.
This would make the LP challenge GOP its power.

$90 million for elections and a major party status is at stake here if GJ makes the 5% vote!!!

That is why these trolls registered on DP this year and are bashing GJ 24/7.

In my well researched opinion no more than 10% of Ron Paul supporters will write-in Dr. Ron Paul on the ballot. I have many friends who told me they a month or so ago planned to write-in Dr. Paul but no longer feel it's the best thing to do for the LM the Liberty Movement to move forward.

Oh, you never attack and insult?

Yet, you insult all Ron Paul supporters by labeling us Romney pretenders.

"In my well researched opinion no more than 10% of Ron Paul supporters will write-in Dr. Ron Paul on the ballot." BTW, seems there is other research that disagrees with your assessment of only 10% of us writing in Dr. Paul.

Who will you vote for this November?

Ron Paul (write-in) (45%, 3,134 Votes)
Gary Johnson (28%, 1,953 Votes)
Mitt Romney (14%, 1,017 Votes)
Barack Obama (6%, 420 Votes)
I won't vote at all (5%, 337 Votes)
Virgil Goode (1%, 78 Votes)
Jill Stein (1%, 57 Votes)
I'll vote for somebody else (0%, 26 Votes)

Total Voters: 7,022

hmm

Dedicated Gary Johnson activist posts a letter in support of write-in for Dr. Ron Paul and all of a sudden everyone who was attacking him is... silent?
