Outrage: Obama Admin. Says Texans Can’t Arrest UN Observers Even if They Violate Texas Law

In a development that should outrage every red-blooded, patriotic American, the Obama Administration announced that international observers in the United States cannot be arrested by state law enforcement even if the United Nations representatives violate state law.

As we publicized earlier this week, “United Nations-affiliated election monitors from Europe and central Asia will be at polling places around the U.S. looking for voter suppression activities by conservative groups.” [Click on this "Limited Election Observation Mission to the United States of America" list to see where the international observers will be deploying in your state.]

Unlike Alaska’s current passivity, Texas confronted this offensive intrusion by international observers with a warning from its Attorney General’s office: “[G]roups and individuals from outside the United States do not have jurisdiction to interfere with Texas elections.” The Attorney General himself also threatened that,

Texans will not be penalized for violating

the civil liberties of the UN officers?

"society could go in a thousand directions as to how it would exist and how it would be, but the public mustn't know that. The generations must believe that the one that they're born into is naturally evolved."-Lenin/Alan Watt/cuttingthroughthematrix.com

"Civil liberties" of foreign reps?

At a US election?

What are you thinking?

The Republican platform in Texas specifically states: "We support the withdrawal of the United States from the United Nations and the removal of U.N. headquarters from U.S. soil."

Any political signs or activists must remain 100 feet away from the polls. Why the heck should these guys get preferential treatment?

First off:

1) UN observers have just as much right to stand anywhere they please on this planet since "United States" is a party to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

THINK: WHY WOULD THE UN BOTHER MAKING AN ANNOUNCEMENT WHEN THEY CAN SIMPLY STAND AROUND AND BE ANONYMOUS OBSERVERS?

2) Be careful of the hidden propaganda here. Everything out of the lame stream media - okay 99% of it - is BS to convince you you don't have any rights.. you only have the privileges that were granted to you - and can be taken away - by your god - the "government."

THINK ABOUT THE DESIRED EFFECT OF THIS NEWS REPORT - BEFORE YOU JUST AUTOMATICALLY REACT TO IT. THINK: HOW ARE THEY TRYING TO PROGRAM ME? THEN ALLOW YOUR MIND TO STRAY OUTSIDE THAT BOX.

Confused about your post.

I think you are pointing out that if the observers wanted to be treated like everybody else they wouldn't have broadcast their presence. But since they did, they obviously are testing our willingness to participate in their intrusion.

That is an excellent point.

Non-voters have no business at the polls- especially foreigners!

By "taking away our freedoms" I think the idea being presented is that your right to exercise those freedoms is being attacked/suppressed- not revoked.

by the constitution, the

by the constitution, the United States has no jurisdiction inside states. The supreme court has no jurisdiction inside states, at least not between citizens of its state and the state. The 10th amendment reserves the states a lot of rights.

The question here is, do treaties override any other rights? To answer the question, I would ask you if the feds could sign a treaty declaring that you have no rights? If they can, then certainly this is a softy and Texas should back down.

Treaties must be made in pursuance of the Constitution.

They cannot negate it.

A treaty CAN be "unconstitutional" and thus null and void.

So where were these observers

So where were these observers in the state caucuses where Ron Paul delegates were cheated time and time over?

There is no "suppression" of votes now, and if there were it wouldn't even matter because those votes are being cast for Rombama.

but alas Rick Perry has no

but alas Rick Perry has no spine

Where were these UN election Monitors during the Primaries?

When the real election choices were made? Oh, and did everyone catch this? "looking for voter suppression activities by conservative groups.” What? Just ignore the voter suppression by liberal groups, like the black panthers? What ever happened to the numerous instances of voter fraud against Ron Paul and the MSM suppression of the evidence? I guess it all depends on whos ox is getting gored.

A curious hypocrisy..

Isn't it odd that while “United Nations-affiliated election monitors from Europe and central Asia will be at polling places around the U.S. looking for voter suppression activities by conservative groups,” these international groups are here on our soil at the behest of liberal groups to "monitor" our voting activities?

As much as I don't like the man, I'm sure Rick Perry will have no qualms about expressing his displeasure.

SteveMT's picture

This is called trespassing. They have no authority to be there.

This is a pure 10th Amendment sovereignty issue, except in our current upside down country.

then Texans should retort . . .

YES WE CAN !

Now would be the time for

Now would be the time for Gov. Perry to flex his power and trump this faux federal government. Calling ALL county sheriffs to exercise their official duties to uphold state law.

You mean..

Bilderberg attending Rick Perry? HA! It would be good to oust that traitor to the USA, Governor Paul!

Educate the masses, and win in the end.

The ones in Texas (2) will

The ones in Texas (2) will both be in Austin. Rick Perry is a flip flop conservative but not as bad as Romney. One day he's a big statist central planner, the next he's giving Obama the finger and other dumb things.

Southern Agrarian

Are You Kidding?

Perry is as much a puppet of the UN as Obama and Romney!

skippy

For educational purposes..

Could you please define "state law?"

I posted about this the other day

Its time for Texas to secede! Congress has let foreign powers take over the country and the great white North will never wake up...

Ha. My thoughts exactly.

Ha. My thoughts exactly.

Nullify instead.

And don't knock the northern states. Minnesota did more for RP than Texas, I'll have to admit.

Depends

I'll give you props for that comment. Minnesota made me proud BUT Texas elected Ron Paul to Congress 12 times... :)
