Could Eating Too Much Junk Food Give You Alzheimer's?

Alzheimer’s is one of the major medical problems of our age. A ghastly disease that condemns millions to years of confusion and fear, it also threatens to bankrupt our health system — yet doctors don’t really know what causes it, or how to treat it effectively. But could that be about to change?

Scientists increasingly believe Alzheimer’s is linked to type 2 diabetes — so closely linked, in fact, it’s even being called ‘brain diabetes’ or type 3 diabetes. This surprising new theory holds out hope that treatments already available for diabetes may also be able to help dementia sufferers, slowing down or stopping the progression of the disease.

When it comes to type 2 diabetes, there’s no mystery about what’s behind the soaring rates — eating too much, especially junk food that’s packed with sugar, refined carbohydrates and fat. This leads to damagingly high levels of sugar in the blood and high levels of insulin needed to clear it away.

The rising levels of glucose and insulin affect the blood vessels of the heart and extremities, potentially leading to blindness and amputations. But it seems raised insulin levels also affect the brain.

According to Dr. Joel Wallach, Alzheimer's

According to Dr. Joel Wallach, Alzheimer's is mainly caused by insufficient cholesterol in the diet and cholesterol lowering drugs. The myelin in the brain is made up of mostly cholesterol. Too little cholesterol and the brain can not repair the myelin.

But no doubt junk food is bad news for all health issues.

my money is on heavy metal poisoning

There are plenty of thin non-diabetic/non-prediabetic people out there with Alzheimer’s. The correlation just isn't strong enough in my oppinion.

What we need is a study on how many cumulative flu shots a person has had in their life time (the elderly are pressured into getting them yearly). The mercury in those shots can be cumulative if you have the type of body that doesn't have the ability to rid itself of heavy metals. Some people are better at it than others.

Also there has to be the consideration of dental work and types of fillings. Then there is the added light bulb concerns. Industrially we have long had florescent with mercury. Depending on your exposure level to mercury vapor and mercury in fish. OR other heavy metals such as aluminum can all effect.

Of course vaccine companies will never allow any studies on their vaccines. why would they? They have immunity from prosecution. They could jab you with cyanide laced window cleaner and you couldn't sue them.

Obesity, diabetes,

Obesity, diabetes, alzheimer's, etc are manifestations of glucose intolerance.
