The irony of this scandal is

The irony of this scandal is that the very people most adamant about our need to intervene in Libya are accusing the president of not doing anything to protect the "embassy" staff. This has neocon false flag all over it! Even Glenn Beck believes this "embassy" was actually a CIA safehouse. Was the "ambassador" really an ambassador or a CIA man, caught up in an arms deal gone bad? What is the connection to our intervening in Syria here? Beck seems to see a connection. Who was really behind that stupid anti Islam video? Beck hasn't asked this last question, but he is beginning to see the truth here I suspect. Too bad he will not make the next logical conclusion about the dastardly motives of neocon operatives.

Good read, but disagreed with the conclusion

I think I see the president differently than the writer did, so I attribute a different motive toward letting the ambassador and those with him die. I heard once that the ambassador was questioning the US foreign policies and such and was investigating the US government and such (I'm not too clear on the details). This would explain why he was not only allowed to die, but was left in this dangerous situation for months and months without asked-for support. Seeing him as a whistle-blower and a threat to the government's power is a more powerful reason to have him killed than some ideology.

"Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice." -- Thomas Paine

The Ambassador was releaved in August but decided to stay.

If the Ambassador had left in August, he would still be alive, but he chose to be a Maverick. If the other 2 guys had stood down as the CIA supposedly said, they would be alive. The President did not tell them to stand down. The CIA higher leaders are denying that they said to stand down. Reagan had our guys in Lebanon without loaded weapons. Many Presidents have refused in the past to ransom stranded, kidnapped Americans so as not to put other Americans in danger. Plus, I understand that foreign agitators neocons agitated the Cairo crowd, telling them about go get Stevens . The foreign agitators wanted to make Obama look bad cause they were for Romney. They (the foreign neocons) know how to get a Muslim crowd agitated and going.

Have you ever seen the movie?

(The pat Tillman story)

Tu ne cede malis sed contra audentior ito

Have not seen it.

Does it do him justice?

I'm not the type to get emotional over movies, but

I won't lie, I might have been a little misty-eyed at the end. My girlfriend was all out sobbing. He was a very complex man. He was a thinker, and was nothing like I imagined him to be. It absolutely tore me apart watching our government lie to the faces of this dead man's family. They killed him, and then lied about it. It's worth a watch

Getting rid of the Fed

maybe on thing, but I think purging the States of the CIA is almost as big a priority. This out of control, private army needs to be held accountable, as well as it's Bankster owners.
