Why do they accuse us Ron Paul people of being cult followers?

Just because we are writing him in?

Even though he isn't a candidate.

Even though he never asked us to.

Even though he isn't promoting it in the slightest.

Even though it won't be counted or recorded in most states.

Even though there is liberty candidate (Gary Johnson) that Ron Paul called "wonderful".

Even though supporting that candidate (Gary Johnson) would aid in getting the Libertarian Party 5% for legitimacy.

Even though we keep saying over and over "Nobody but Paul".

Even though some of us are talking about voting for him even after he dies.

Why does the media call us a cult?

Hmmmmmmm?

"Us" Ron Paul Supporters

are not all going to write him in. Some of us are. Others have chosen to vote for Gary Johnson. Others, like me, are not going to vote at all. Still others will vote for Goode or someone else.

I think it's kind of weird that you and a few others feel the need to insult people who've chosen a different option than the one you chose. If we all did what you wanted us to do, wouldn't that make us a cult, the Gary Johnson cult?

Why do you worry so much

Why do you worry so much about what johnny or jane do?? you do you and I will do me..whatever that may be.

Liberty oriented people

I would have to say study more and you may find that the opinions of "they" mean very little to those who are sure enough to stand alone in a sea of ignorance. I only realized who Paul was in late 07 when the hypocritical Mark Levin was calling him a kook. Then I saw one of Paul's speeches about the constitution and realized that he was making perfect sense and was definitly not a kook. Then I realized that he was in fact a threat to consolidated power bases everywhere. Some time later, I realized that the two party system was actually one that acts soley to benefit certain connected industries with the most influential lobbyists. This is the main reason both sides dislike him so much. Earlier this year I realized that this idea of individual liberty was bigger than one man and that people everywhere need this awareness. So the folks who think Ron Paul is a cult are the same folks who never question authority or think for themselves. They feed the very system of wasteful consumption and irresponsibility that is both devaluing our personal wealth and polluting our environment. They ridicule anyone who thinks deeply about authoritarian style atrocities or criticizes the connections of the industrial government complexes for things like maintaining a state of perpetual war or why they keep feeding us fluoride made from fertilizer waste. No single person can stem this tide of stupidity currently being played out as a fixed election. It must come from thousands of people who work at the local levels in the lowest of positions who have a will to preserve personal liberty and expand the knowledge of things the establishment didn't want to have us know. We all know Gary Johnson nor Ron Paul will be president. It will be one of the two zeros. There is no choice. Do you want wheat or rye on your crap sandwich? Defiently voting for your personal choice will allow you to sleep better but unfortunately will not change anything. I say vote your conscience and be happy. However, search out and talk to local level people who support liberty and work to help them and educate them in any way you can. Teach them about hemp. Teach them about Monsanto. Teach them about the fed. Above all teach them by example and be a good human at all times.

Because

People
who are not flip floppers
who do not fall for every new gimmick
who don't follow the crowd
who follow their hearts
who's word is their bond
who maintain deep faith and convictions
who will fight to the end for true justice

are often called "cults"
because others (like you) simply don't understand.

I don't cast my vote lightly

If ANY of the other candidates held Ron Paul's core values, I would vote for them in a heartbeat. Gary Johnson...meh...at best he's a lukewarm wannabe libertarian. Better than Bob Barr, but hardly a principled defender of individual rights.

If Gary Johnson wants my vote, he'd better brush up on Austrian Economics and the Bill of Rights.

Just watched a Johnson speech

He's much closer to Ron Paul today than a few months ago. I stand corrected: he is a reasonable alternative to voting for RP.

an irate minority will always be a cult

so were the founders

that's why gary johnson will never ever ever be a leader

he doesn't have what it takes to lead an irate minority

neither do you. you don't even qualify for the irate part, so don't worry, you are not one of us.

"We" who support Ron Paul

don't give a hoot about what "they" call us!
Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

" In Thee O Lord do I put my trust " ~ Psalm 31:1~

Troll.

With each insult people like you spew out, it only strengthens our resolve that much more to write in Ron Paul.

When we said "Ron Paul or none at all," we meant it. Unlike Gary and his supporters, we stick to our word.

I don't play, I commission the league.

Because many RP supporters downvote questions like this.

So much for the belief in "individual liberty". These people give RP supporters a bad name because they are doing EXACTLY what the establishment does to Dr. Paul.

No, the attempted demonizing and labeling by the OP...

...is what the establishment does to RP and his supporters.

I down voted the OP because he's a lying troll.

Let's examine his question: Why do they accuse us Ron Paul people of being cult followers?

This OP has already called Ron Paul supporters cultist in other threads.

Why does this OP use 'us' in his question when he's obviously not an RP supporter.

The OP is the 'they' in his question. So his question is BS because he already knows why he accuses RP supporters as cult followers. I can't speak for the OP but I assume he calls me a cultist because it furthers his agenda whatever that is.

Because "Ron Paul"

is becoming "John Galt".
There is such integrity and consistency in his message his name is synonymous with his ideas.
The "elections" are a sick joke, an obvious con, a set up pretense.
So what better response than to write in the name that is synonymous with liberty?
IF you must "participate", that is.

Because he's RIGHT!

One thing you forgot...

We'll fight for him!

You got somebody you believe in enough to fight for?

That's what I thought...

Because they're afraid of the passion

his message inspires.

Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution, inevitable.

Our great leader Johnson said...

that Ron Paul was a cult leader and then relayed it through his LIEUTENANT LL and so on through the ranks.

Ron/Rand Paul 2016! Constitution Party 2016!

If they ever leave Fox news

If they ever leave Fox news and the status quo GOP I imagine they'll be thinking the same things you are.

Southern Agrarian

These type of posts don't help imho.

I tried to point out that a write in vote is a vote for the status quo but when it comes down to it if people want to write in Ron Paul then let them,. If Gary Johnson can't get 5% without hijacking Ron Paul's support then maybe he doesn't deserve 5%.
