She obviously means well, but cannot except the fact that it IS in fact government and its role in our lives that is flawed, NOT the people in government ...

Mittens!!! Until I got her to agree to take the " I side with" survey last week. She agreed with GJ 87% and next was Obama then Mittens. Thankfully she went and voted GJ :) I also spoke to three people this week who didn't even know who GJ was or that he was running for President and they all took the same survey with all 3 favoring GJ with the highest %. Don't know if they will vote that way but it felt good knowing I made them think about their choice.

Kinda makes that other MSM fake debate look like amateur stuff...

The WHOLE thing, the choice between the status quo vs alternative is like a hall of mirrors... whatever we choose, even if not sabotaged from the start will ultimately be subverted to benefit 'The Powers That SHOULD NOT Be'.

If a 'Global Currency' is bad vs national currency because the latter can serve as a firewall to prevent a domino effect in-case of crashing currencies. Then 'Free Trade' is also bad because national self sufficiency can serve as a firewall to prevent a domino effect in case of catastrophes that affect supplies, be it food or any other necessity.

Free Trade is undesirable for any society wishing to retain in-house intelligence and skills. Where manufacturing goes, so goes the intelligence it takes to manufacture.

if we can decipher the human genome, crack the atom, send ships into space, send ships into deep waters, preform extraordinary microscopic surgery that saves lives, THEN WHY THE FRIG CAN'T WE FIGURE OUT HOW TO SET UP A SYSTEM OF FINANCE AND TRADE THAT BENEFITS EVERYONE EQUALLY OR AT LEAST FAIRLY ACCORDING TO INDIVIDUAL INPUT?

Why can't we do a systematic analysis of all the cultures that have come before and answer the age old question once and for all... what systems of trade and finance produced the most happiness and advancement for the greatest number of people at any give time in history?

and wanted to watch this debate first. Wow... Jill really turned me off. GJ will get my vote even though I didn't think he was on his A game in this debate. I still believe he is the closest to RP in documented legislation decisions as Governor. Wish my man RP was on the ballot in my state or write ins counted but that is not the case here so GJ it is!

And he has done so in every speech I've heard him give. He uses that same phrase Ron Paul used to say, "foreign aid is taking money from poor people in America and giving it to rich people in poor countries."
Then Gary expanded and pointed out the financial aid is never filtered down to the poor, and said he was "livid" that we build in foreign countries.

Is this the Jill Stein debate? She got so much more time than Johnson..

I like Karen a lot, but she lost me right there. It's a slippery slope down, and since the US govt. still hasn't handed over the root zone DNS file to ICANN, it means they are using ICANN for supporting infrastructure while keeping control of the Internet's primary DNS root servers as defense collateral in an information war. I'm well versed on this stuff, and Net Neutrality would just lead to long-term government regulation of the net.

However, if US ISP's started capping bandwidth en-masse, it would be time for the US government to step in and look at anti-trust laws that are already on the books.
