Judge may issue court ordered abortion question Does the family have the right to defend the child?

The parents of a pregnant mentally-disabled woman are trying to block a judge from holding hearings they fear could result in the compulsory abortion of her baby.

The Nevada couple are the legal guardians of their 32-year-old daughter, who has the mental capacity of a six-year-old, and have exclusive authority over her health care decisions.

Washoe County District Judge Egan Walker lacks the authority to decide whether the woman should be allowed to give birth, according to a motion to halt the proceedings that they have filed at the Nevada Supreme Court.

This is why life must be protected

This is why Ron Paul says, "Unless we understand…we must protect life, we cannot protect liberty."

This is why Ron Paul introduced Sanctity of Life Acts in 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011 would have defined human life and legal personhood (specifically, natural personhood) as beginning at conception,[7][8] "without regard to race, sex, age, health, defect, or condition of dependency."[9] By contrast, the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act of 2002 amended 1 U.S.C. § 8 to provide that legal personhood includes all Homo sapiens who are "born alive".[10]

Section 2(b)(2) of the Sanctity of Life Act further would have recognized that each state has authority to protect the lives of unborn children residing in the jurisdiction of that state.[11]
This is why life must be protected. Because if life is not protected an individual is no longer sovereign because the government assumes sovereignty. Then the question becomes over what life is the government sovereign?
