The only time in history that
sanctions have worked is against South Africa's apartheid regime.
Every other time it has been an assault against the everyday citizens of a foreign nation that has to bend to the will of an already stronger ruler than the "dictator of the day".
Sanctions weaken the population of "said" country for war.
It should be seen as an act of terror.

Preaching to the choir
but put a blockade around the US and submit us to similar sanctions and then ask if is it an act of aggression and/or war. The answer by all those who say it isn't an act of war against Iran will say it is an act of war when placed on us.
