I Have Never Been More Disinterested In An Election Before In My Life!

Sad to admit it but after being on the Daily Paul for over 5 years, I have never been less interested in the outcome of any election in my life, as I am for this one at the moment. Quite frankly, thanks to all of the good people here, I have learned so much about the real workings of our "hostage" republic, that everything associated with this sham of an election is absolutely meaningless to me. In fact, it's mind-numbing. I don't mean to sound cynical, but the Sheeple will speak again and those of us who are awake to the ruse will just continue to suffer though another 4 years of this unfathomable destruction of our Constitution and are freedom! The herd marches along with ignorant bliss towards the slaughter house!

Nope...the TV is off in my house...this is a day of mourning for me!

Hopefully we will survive 4 more years but my gut says otherwise!

I love you America!

Welcome to the AWAKENING

I haven't put the tv on either, although I usually don't anyway, but I have also avoided visiting my alternative news sites. I just don't feel the need to get sucked into this vortex of BS. I'm quite content having some "tea" and chilling out to some good tunes and envisioning a future without this BS.

Oddly enough, I'd like to thank the Establishment for showing us it really exists. Thank you for giving the people of the US and the World a common obstacle to overcome. We'll never forget it.

Good night everybody. Tomorrow's a new (same old) day.

Except to see blowback...

come to the GOP and the "Tea" Party. Haha - I did enjoy seeing that happen ever so much!

Colorado Prop 64 Passing-Legal Marijauna!

11-6-12

Hurray!!!

Lots of energy coming up.

Today is a monumental and historic day as we see the Proposition 64 to legalize the usage of Marijuana by adults in the great State of Colorado passing! We put a lot of light on this to make sure they did not attempt to flip-flop the vote!

Here is the latest and possible final tally. Let's hope it does not change.

AMENDMENT 64

Percent Votes

Yes 52.41% 680,796

No 47.59% 618,218

Oh come now.

It's only once every four years that we get together as a nation to watch the citizens of Ohio select a tyrant for us. This is special. SPECIAL!!!

It will forever be extremely

It will forever be extremely hard to believe in any voting results after witnessing what happened during the primaries. All of us have a legitimate reason to no longer believe in democracy.

I am not only disinterested

I am uninterested.

Frenzy

Yes, it's weird to see how excited some people are about which version of tyranny we are going to get. And then my religious friends are acting like God's own choice is Romney. I can't even talk to them about it at all. I figure I am being punished for my own past self-righteousness!

I've never had more thorough knowledge

in advance of an election day, that a candidate was corrupt, as with Mitt Romney.

He's next year's Fox News

He's next year's Fox News anchor fodder that's for sure.

Actually, It's People Who Vote Who Have No Right To Complain

Posted by David Kramer on November 6, 2012 12:18 AM

(I posted this last year on the day before Election Day. I have decided to post it again on Election Day this year for people who have discovered LewRockwell.com since then. I will probably continue to re-post this every Election Day—until Homeland Security eventually shuts down LewRockwell.com permanently.)

If you're a voluntaryist, like I am, I'm sure that you've had some person at one time or another say to you, "If you don't vote, then you have no right to complain." But that person's logic is backwards. If I don't accept something to begin with (in this case, the institution of government), what logic would it be on my part to have any sort of association and/or dealings with it that perpetuates its legitimacy—and then complain about it? If I don't like Chinese food, I don't go to Chinese restaurants. (And since the owners of the Chinese restaurants can't come after me to force me to patronize their businesses, then there's no need for me to complain about Chinese food.)

But if you do associate and/or have dealings with something, then there is a tacit understanding that you have accepted its conditions. For example: If you are a left-winger who believes in government and voting—but obviously didn't vote for Bush—then when Bush was elected you had no right to complain; you'd already agreed to the condition that you would accept the results of the election regardless of who wins. (Of course, a person can complain about certain aspects of the government in the same way that I can complain about some of the food in a restaurant that I do patronize.)

On the other hand, since I (as a voluntaryist) don't accept the legitimacy of (nor even the need for) government to begin with, I have every right to complain about this inefficient, corrupt monopoly forcing itself on my personal being when I don't even want the services that it provides.

Yeah, I thought about fasting because I am grieved, and I'm completely disinterested in the election too. Never more sure in my life that it didn't matter who won.

Because I know the problem is the people, and they will continue to make dumb decisions, because we weren't designed to be a mob democracy of the immoral, lazy, and stupid, but a representative republic. Pride precedes the fall. The society needs to stop being vain, look at itself, and repent. The problem has always been there - government is a symptom.

We saw how bad we've drifted in the Republican primary. NO concept of Republican values in the party named after Republican values.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

No TV

No newspaper. No internet for me until an hour ago. I had to take care of my sick loved one, after getting home from work. At least that had more purpose or meaning than, casting a vote that would NOT be counted anyway... I can live with myself. Priorities, dude!

Here! Here! Life still goes on...

I hope your loved one recovers.

I Was Thinking the Same Thing

...until I realized that I may have had even less interst in the 1964 election, when I was 2 years old. It's close though.

Lol!

Too funny :)

I was thinking the same thing all day today.

I didn't want to talk about the election with anyone.

Guess I wasn't alone.
