My Ron Paul sign... (update)Submitted by NCforPaul on Tue, 11/06/2012 - 23:25
I came home to North Carolina from New York immediately after it was smacked by Hurricane Sandy. When I arrived back in my little hometown, I saw my poor little Ron Paul sign, still in the front yard.
It was beaten, battered, crooked, broken, soggy, and looked all but defeated.
But it was STILL STANDING.
We are STILL STANDING.
The rest of the world looks at us, and we look defeated. At first. You know what's funny? Just like that poor little sign, no matter how utterly crushed our movement appears, the message is still there, written in giant, bold letters, crying out to all who will listen.
You know what I did with that sign?
I stood it back up.
You know what we're going to do with our movement?
We're going to freaking stand back up. Lock 'n' load, 2014 is only two years away! We've got four years to 2016, so use 'em wisely.
To those who would see liberty crushed, who thought they'd gotten rid of us:
We're still here, b****es, and we're gonna kick your butts.
It's kinda funny, apparently my sign has become quite popular. :D However, before I could get pictures, my dad come home and told me to bring it in - though it was for the purpose of saving it, not throwing it away.
The stand was missing a leg and was bent at all kinds of angles, so that got thrown away - I still have the sign itself in my room.
