Huffpost: Amendment 64 Passes: Colorado Legalizes Marijuana For Recreational Use

The Rocky Mountain High just got a whole lot higher. On Tuesday night, Amendment 64 -- the measure which sought the legalization of marijuana for recreational use by adults -- was passed by Colorado voters, making Colorado the first state to end marijuana prohibition in the United States.

With about 36 percent of precincts reporting at the time of publishing, 9News and Fox31 report that Amendment 64 has passed.

BUMP!!!

YES!! This is how the first Prohibition ended!! Now that CO has broken the seal (lol) ... the rest of the states will follow and the Feds are screwed! I predict the rest of the drug war will crumble down fairly quickly after that... and more freedom will reign! AND... less of my money will be wasted on hurting innocent people!

WINNING!!! :-D

Time to INVESTIGATE the investigators of 9/11. PROSECUTE the prosecutors. EXPOSE the cover-up.

How sad is it...

With marijuana being classified as an illegal substance at the federal level, the DEA will undoubtedly still jump in and cause problems with this new law passage... However, on something as 'severe' as murder within state boundaries of a non-federal office/agent individual, the state is free to choose the punishment, be it capital punishment, life imprisonment, or even nothing at all.

That is how pathetic the federal government of the USA is.

4 more years?

...theyre going to need it.

a direct state's rights challenge to Federal "authority"

... is useless without strong oathkeeper sheriffs willing to interpose between unlawful Federal central-planners and sovereign individuals.

Kick all judges, sheriffs and related crooks out on the street with extreme prejudice . . .

... until such time as they take an aggressive stance against all tyranny.

woot

will be visiting out there .... good going CO

It also appears that

It also appears that Washington will be passing their initiative to legalize marijuana as well. While a verry small one, at least we have a small victory on the side of liberty tonight.

Perfect time

to remind the people over at PuffHo about Obama's/Feds meddling with the marijuana industry in CA...not that they'll care, of course.
