Ron Paul's Revenge?
Submitted by Habeas Corpus on Wed, 11/07/2012 - 01:46I've been watching the voting results most of this evening. I can't help but wonder, especially when looking at the Florida and Ohio numbers, how much of an impact Ron Paul has played in Romney losing this election? Florida has 29 electoral votes and the margin of victory for the most part has been almost (and at times less) than the amount of votes Gary Johnson received. Same goes for Ohio. I'm not saying that all of these votes might have gone towards Romney or "some other Republican," but it does bring pause. I've got a feeling that this will be talked about for some time in GOP circles. I have a hunch they'll try to make Ron Paul look like the Republican's version of Ralph Nader. What say you?

As Maine Goes, So Does the nation
that's all I could think of when I saw that Maine went for Obama. And then I thought of all the other states where RP did well and how we all swore we wouldn't vote for the Cheating Romney. Those states all went blue too. I guess they shouldn't have drug us away in cuffs, broke fingers, kidnapped people on buses, etc if they wanted to win.

.
good thread but the republicans have a HUGE HOLE in the party and they have no worker bees.
They will come around and RP is counting on this.
He knows the libs that follow him will never come around to his way of thinking- but knows he has educated enough young republicans to fill the void.
the trick will be to keep the libs OUT of the movement- this time.
"OH NO! He has a SON?" Neoconservatives and Liberals EVERYWHERE!
