Maybe some of you are ready to join me in the GOP now?

While I'm sorry Romney lost because I saw it as an opportunity to hold him accountable to the oath he took to the constitution for the next few years, others who did not see what I was saying or didn't agree, were angry with the GOP, are maybe ready, willing, and able to join the GOP now that the election is over?

As for the GOP blaming RP RepubliCANs for Romney's loss.. I don't see it in my county, on my committee, but that could be because of the work my fellow Ron Paul RepubliCANs have been doing in the GOP? I like to think so.

So now, if you are ready, I'd like to invite you to attend your local GOP meeting. The dates your GOP meets or has an event you can attend should be posted online. If your committee is not open to meetings, for example, one poster on here has showed me how closed their GOP meetings are.. this needs to be exposed and something we can do together at conventions.. also holding the RNC accountable at conventions that are not election years.

It would be good if you coul join the GOP, attend meetings even as a guest, volunteer for events, and do what you did as grassroots but in the GOP.. after all, I'm asking you to attend a local GOP meeting or event, see who is there, see what they are talking about, see if there are any RPCANs. Just check it out.. especially if you are a truth seeker. Do not take my experience or what MSM/YouTube tells you.. see for yourself.

I plan on doing anti-war, anti-fed, anti-UN Agenda floats and drills in our local parades as GOP. Matter of fact, the things I did as grassroots, I will be doing GOP, they can pay for it. This should be a lot of fun. The GOP is ours, so let's clean it up and restore the republic.

I'm inviting you to see the truth, and help us restore the republic.

I just did

I just joined the county GOP. What's next Granger?

The individual who refuses to defend his rights when called by his Government, deserves to be a slave, and must be punished as an enemy of his country and friend to her foe. - Andrew Jackson

Why Ron Paul and "the message" are ONE.

Ron Paul symbolises a unique message. No one else in political life at the Federal level has stood for what he has established in the public mind. As you see The Granger calls herself a Ron Paul Republican. There is a reason for that.

I believe that Ron Paul created a political platform that he crafted out of his forty years in public life (so far) and 12 terms in Congress. This is his own property even though he has freely shared it with millions of his countrymen. Anyone who studies this platform and researches the legislation he presented during his terms in Congress and reads his books will be better equipped to deal with the political situation America finds itself in today.

There are other messages under the "Liberty" banner, e.g. the Libertarian message, but these are not the Ron Paul message. The Ron Paul message is specific and proprietary with a specific political purpose. To diffuse the energies of the Ron Paul R3VOLution would be singularly unproductive at this time. This is why it is important to maintain the attachment of the name to the message. Just as FDR's name is attached to a specific programme of public works interventionism at the Federal level so is Ron Paul's name attached to a specific political platform firmly based upon a certain economic and monetary theory and the jurisdictional limitations placed upon the Federal government by the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.

I believe Michael Nystrom acted in haste when he removed Dr. Paul's portrait from the front page of the website. Perhaps he will come to realise this in due time. The iconic portrait of Ron Paul painted by a Ron Paul R3VOLutionary would be a very good replacement. The website can represent the IDEAS of Ron Paul for the very specific political ACTION required to RESTORE THE REPUBLIC. Ron Paul himself will be the public face of these IDEAS and ACTION so long as he is alive and others will gradually grow up and mature around him as the IDEAS spread and through political ACTION the R3VOLution gains traction.

The Granger has embraced these IDEAS 100% and is taking ACTION in the way that Ron Paul himself advised his supporters to do. She has been vilified for her efforts that many are now beginning to see were the correct ones. She is now available to everyone here to give advice on how to do what she is doing. I hope many others will follow her lead.

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)

I do not have a seat in the

I do not have a seat in the GOP because there is none available. But I have made any friends on the committee so rest assure I will fill one when it becomes available. Besides...there are a few people who's time has come to step down if you know what I mean. The republicans lost their asses in our area...all because of leadership.

I Am Ready...

...and have been.

the granger

i love you fortitude and yous spirit
but i would rather have them join us.
might be easier??

Leave an indelible mark on all of those that you meet.
OH... have fun day :)

you are at your 4th of July parade and the GOP float has a drill team, where every now and then a hig pitched noise is played and everyone stops and falls where they are, stays there less than a minute while someone explains how drones kill.. the float is peace, anti-war, end the fed, and the riders are handing out tea bags, chocilate gold wrapped coins and mini constitutions, telling people about gold, sound money, liberty and we can do all this in the GOP.. have grandfatehred things ready for us to do what we did as grassroots. We should have the time of our lives.

deacon's picture

are we really grand kids?

i see things this way,all political groups have their chose
all rich families have them, and all businesses
they hand pick the ones after them(the ones up and coming)
they are chosen from a select stock, all from their stables
as all have been chosen for another(the bushes were related to their
wives, before marriage)
this selection is to keep the control they have, and passing it along
to an outsider(chattle, cattle, beasts of burden, take your pick)
is a big no-no,and will not happen
make them insignificant,we can draw support, and consent, let us be the standard, the light house on the hill, the beacon, let them all
come to us,as we hold that light for all to see, they have to desire that want,as nothing in their lives comes close,if we are light to the darkness, then the ones without it will desire to know us(desire to see and know the light)
not just as people, but as an example(the in crowd)
if we set the bar,if we set the standard as to how we live our lives, others will not go empty handed for the lack of it
ever felt you were just along for the ride, and nothing you did made a difference?...i ask this as i have seen the looks in countless
peoples eyes, that blank stare, the nothing home look, the what can we do about it look? that look that says,i(we)have too much to lose
to consider doing right,so is it the things we can see that we should desire,or is it the things we cannot?,the ones who lack of nothing can see more and have experienced more than most(they can see it) we can see it,but is it truly a want? or a need?
the things on this rock anyone can own,but the unseen things
are not so

Leave an indelible mark on all of those that you meet.
OH... have fun day :)

Still "it's a small world", and the GOP ship provides the opportunity to shed some light to the rich and poor alike, selected or not.

You're Right...

...We can make the biggest difference and have the biggest voice if we are active within the GOP.

Good plan.

There is 1 elected libertarian party member out of 8,000 or so positions. There are no other 3rd parties with any elected officials. Previously successful 3rd parties like the Reform Party are functionally defunct. The only elected independents are affiliated with the duopoly. Every single Ron Paul-type campaign by someone not a Dem or Repub (like Tisha Casida but bless her for her efforts) lost in landslides (and weren't even reported by most of the media).

But yes, let's have them join us sitting on their computers bitching. That would be much easier.

deacon's picture

i agree,and loved the response,that is until
the last paragraph,this lost me
in your eyes,do we all sit and bitch at our computers?

Leave an indelible mark on all of those that you meet.
OH... have fun day :)

Many do. Many of course are extremely active.

I should have added (including myself) for the keyboard activists.

deacon's picture

i didn't take it that way
i was hoping that was not how saw things
most wore themselves out, including their shoes
and mouths,we as well as you want the best for everyone
as it leads to the best for us

Leave an indelible mark on all of those that you meet.
OH... have fun day :)

Yes but I need guidance

I have spent hours on the Franklin County GOP website and I am still clueless. All I know is that I can't run for a committee position until the next primary. I have no idea how to join the GOP or when they even meet. I need a pamphlet on "How to inflitrate the GOP for dummies."

Let's try

Do they have a calendar? Do they have any events coming up?

You don't have to be a Republican unless you want a seat, and you may get appointed.. I was appointed a seat after I went to all the meetings for a year as a guest. I took roll call, and started asking to replace foklks who didn't show. OK Let's find their calendar.. and if we can't find that.. you will need to contact the county clerk and ask them, since the GOP is registered with the county, and sometimes city. I don't like my county GOP web site.. I wish I was as talented as Nystrom.. I'd volunteer to change ours.

We need a new party, GOP has failed

Against the MOST vile left wing candidate in a generation, the GOP has nominated the two most establishment dolittles and failed. They railroaded the libertarian GOP minority with terrible party rules.

Look, most Americans oppose Obamacare, think the economy stinks and it's their number 1 issue according to exit polls. AND THE GOP STILL LOST. Hello? McFly?

Dems and Repubs are two sides same coin period. It's really true, truly! We need a new party to replace the Republicans just like the Republicans replaced the Whigs. This new party will shift the country from liberal vs. conservative to Liberty vs. Statism.

there are alrady 36 registered third parties nationally

it's expensive, time consuming, all the parties fight you.. why go there when the GOP is up for grabs?

Maybe now is the time to stop being an armchair rEVOLutionary...

I wrote songs. I handed out leaflets. Videos. I preached ad nauseum to those who did not want to hear. Maybe now I'll try to take a seat away from someone who f*%ked us in the primary. The RINO's are going to sleep now...time to wake up.

Yours in Liberty,

I believe you will love it

The only regret I have is not joining in 07/08.. and it seems to me, you're in for a great time.

I see the local Liberty...

...movement being most effective when it meets outside of party involvement, as a group that transcends parties and doesn't allow itself to be limited to a particular one...BUT at the same time it doesn't shun involvement in any particular party, either. Parties are just different fronts in the same war.

I think it hurts our cause if we become so angry at the GOP that we refuse to support another Liberty candidate who happens to try to go that route for 2014 or 2016. And at the same time, I think it hurts our cause if we don't maintain a strong local identity outside the GOP to interface with others who aren't comfortable with it.

I would have agree two years ago

and then I joined the GOP, took a seat, and saw that GOP can do everything grassroots can but better.. so why not?

I agree...

...but I guess I'm saying it doesn't have to be either-or...can be both-and! :)

It will be both

The thing is, by going onto a major party we have resources available that as grassroots we have to work harder to do. It's harder to get a committee seat than occupy a meetup seat, and the party has more to offer than Meetup.. so Ron Paul is offering us this great gift to get it done.. I see the division as those who just can't get with the GOP as it is.. they will wait until we clean it up for them.. That's fine by me.

Granger, with all due respect, I'm suspicious of your loyalty...

I've seen many of your posts here and sorry to have to say it, but I doubt your sincerity.

I have always said and I still say NO TRUE Ron Paul supporter could ever have voted for Romney. EVER.

You see it differently and that's fine, but in my mind you either sold out or never really understood what it means to be a Ron Paul supporter.

So to answer your question, NO. I'm not going to suddenly play nice with the cheating GOP and go along to get along.

I don't know how things are going to play out but the GOP is in BIG trouble.

Rand Paul said last night that unless this party figures out a way to get united AND PRINCIPLED, they may never win another presidential election.

Pretty strong words but probably true.

So it is not US who have to figure out how to "work" with the you and your GOP - It's they who have to learn FROM us the way forward.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

I'm not a true Ron Paul supporter

Even though I garee with Ron Paul on every issue, I see myself more as a message supporter and getting Ron Paul's message, "Restore the Republic", is my mission.. so, I will do what I have to to fullfill that mission, even if it means keeping a loyalty oath and voting Romney, because Ron Paul also taught me, seek what is good within everyone.

I saw your post in Active

I saw your post in Active Forum Topics and thought, Granger, it's got to be Granger's. Sure enough, it is. Oh, and Granger, I'm happy to see you support freedom instead of being a cult member. Good job, Grange'. And good job to Nystrom for removing RP's photo. Eventually DPers who place person above philosophy will be outnumbered by the people who place philosophy above person. The day that eclipse happens, it'll be a good day, a very good day. Keep thinking tactics, Granger. You're ahead of most people.

Yeah Keep Playing the Music...

...and maybe the Titanic won't sink... Sigh! Yeah lets subject ourselves to another 4 years of abuse derision and hatred and make it 8 years total...

Staying in the GOP is just being lazy instead of getting off our asses and putting the energy into creating something real that reflects true liberty and isn't weighted down by the chains of the GOP, LP, and various other parties that people scatter their energies among.

Yeah lets take over the Mafia and make it into a respectable organization... Sigh! The truth is the GOP has never followed its platform and has grown the government Leviathan every chance it gets.

The bobble heads who blindly vote party line are just a drag on liberty lovers reinforcing the corrupt party leaders at the top who spit at us...

Put the energy into building something real and and see if the market will accept it instead of trying to purify sewage water and you will have my attention.

Until then I will abstain from the political theater and save my self from prison for eventually killing someone after attending central committee meetings and listening to their ignorant tripe to the breaking point...

End The Fat
70 pounds lost and counting! Get in shape for the revolution!

Get Prepared!

Sorry, no dice.

Why can't we just elect people based on their individual stances rather than all this party nonsense? History shows, time and again, that political parties ALWAYS become corrupted.

I applaud your efforts, Granger, but the way I see it, the very EXISTENCE of political parties is lethal to individual liberty.

A signature used to be here!

Actually, I'm beginning to

Actually, I'm beginning to believe that we need ANOTHER 3rd party which STRICTLY conforms to Ron Paul's views as both the Constitution and Libertarian parties can't seem to drop their controversial and more restrictive planks. Eventually, we need to rid ourselves of ALL political parties. Ron has the stature and influence to make this possibility a reality. Can ANOTHER 3rd party be created from the crumbs of Ron's failed campaign while the initiative to reform the Republican party continues? Although history can be effective in shedding light on its potential success or failure, history is still JUST a guide. Honestly, I don't know.

If so, the time to start is NOW. Call it the Ron Paul party as a monument to his political legacy. ;)

Thank You Granger

Thank you very much for these words Granger. Its what we need to get ourselves refocused now.

I'm Free like a Willy! Happy Day! Oops thats a bit of a cliche!
