It Was A Great Night For Liberty! We Won!

Clearly, at least regarding the popular vote, Romney COULD have won with us.

But he (and the GOP), chose to dismiss us as a non-factor.

What I had hoped for came true tonight.

It was the best thing for the liberty movement.

It needs to be researched how many votes Ron Paul, Gary Johnson and Virgil Goode (bless his heart in Virginia) received.

The popular vote was very close.

If it can be shown that the margin Romney lost by is comparable to the amount of votes liberty candidates received, then WE HAVE WON!

I dreaded Romney winning and the RNC/GOP being able to shove it in our faces that they didn't need us.

Evidently that is not the case.

It is a great night for liberty!

Finally - a semblance of victory.

Why didn't the GOP unleash Ron Paul on Obama?

Even if he lost, he could have called Obama out on so many issues.

It shows the Boehner and the GOP are in bed with he democrats, the big bankers and the military-industrial complex.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

They didn't unleash Ron Paul...

because Ron Paul wouldn't have made it rain on the neocons' Wall Street and defense cronies with our tax dollars.

I don't play, I commission the league.

The GOP is dead without Libertarians.

And that's why we get no real leadership in the party; they WANT liberty to die, they WANT the Republican party to turn into a joke. What we have is a Republican party ran by Socialists who would rather it just disappear.

That's why we get puppets like Romney, people engineered to lose. He may be the only person in America that could lose to Obama.

Congratulations Mutt Romney. You won.

Please.

The neocons WANT to win, because they and their cronies get to enrich themselves from the public largesse instead of the Democrats and DNC cronies.

I don't play, I commission the league.

I don't know about great.

I don't know about great. Justin Amash managed to hold on, he was my main concern. He was out spent big time. Glad to see him prevail. Proud to have donated to him several times. Kerry Bentivolio also managed to win, as did Tom Massie. We needed the Dem's to lose the Senate to really have gridlock, but they gained a seat. Rand's going to have a tough time now. Very cool to see CO and Wash State pass those propositions. Hopefully some people in those states read up on Tom Woods' *Nullification* I'd give the night a C+ my self.

Impossible to know the Actual Vote Numbers When ...

... we even have it on video from this election of voting machines changing the numbers.

Real change must come from the ground up, not from bankster controlled elections.

I was really hoping

this thread was about Justin Amash's landslide victory in Michigan. Romney wouldn't have won anyway. He was a weak candidate with a crappy character, voting/legislation record, and a very hypocritical history. They weren't going to win on Foxbots alone, and I don't believe they wanted to win.

SOMETHING is going to happen...They KNOW it, and don't want whatever that is pinned to their shirt.

What we can be certain of, is that it was a 2 horse race, and the same 'people' own BOTH horses, and the BS media.

Good to see him reelected.

Good to see him reelected.

Southern Agrarian

This. Presidential was a waste of our time.

No presidential election has been good for liberty for a very long time, no outcome last night would honestly be 'good' for liberty. At least staunch Republicans will be more receptive now that they discover how kooky and crazy they really are to the American people. But that's not considered a gain, more just an opportunity as part of the regular flow of resistance to government shlock.

And the old cliche.......

Payback is hell truly applies. Or perhaps, "You reap what you sow". Romney's karma came back to deliver that which he deserved. After what he and his supporters and hirees did to Ron Paul's dedicated delegates and supporters in general then in Tampa, Romney got what he well deserved. I personally will continue to be supportive of Ron Paul even in retirement. The liberty movement, I believe, will continue to grow and will continue recruiting young people. That is something, I hope, we all can agree with.

Think about all those who

Think about all those who were so frustrated that they didn't vote? How amny people would have shown up to vote if Ron was running against Obama?

I really didn't want to,

I really didn't want to, because I believe the state is inherently evil, but it was more about sending a message to those who are still locked into tv reality.

I would have been there.

I would have been there.

We all lost. Stop gloating.

We all lost. Stop gloating. Do you really want to take credit for re electing one of the worst presidents in our history?

however...

Ron Paul was the big winner and his freedom movement has proved to be a vital force.

The evil GOP are the sore losers.

Rand Paul has egg all over his face.

Gary Johnson did his bit, and will hopefully join forces with a vibrant 80 year old Ron Paul in 2016.

Let the work continue.

"Legalize Freedom"

"Live Free"

Gary Johnson got 1% of the

Gary Johnson got 1% of the vote.

We lost in August, when our

We lost in August, when our vote was silenced. This was payback.

Really? Payback? Come on now

Really? Payback? Come on now people...we really do not want this hanging on our backs. Things are about to get real bad.
Yes, we were right. We told them Ron Paul or 4 more years of Obama. They, lied, cheated, and stole then they lost. But re electing Obama is far from any accomplishment I want to claim.

I didn't help Obambi get re

I didn't help Obambi get re elected.

Maybe I should of used "karma" instead of payback

The Young Vote

Did not turn out for Romney like they would have for Paul. I'm sure at least a few more would have showed for Romney if the GOP didn't take a shit on us RP supporters.

Can ya hear us now GOP?

The votes were counted off-shore in Spain

by a company owned by Soros. There is no record of the voting inside the US. You tell me how anybody but Obama was supposed to win.. Jeez.. people are so fcuking naive and/or stupid is scares the sh!t out of me..

Now it's about the Constitution and the fight to defend it.

Oh, come on...

YOU'RE stupid and naive:

I may be incorect, at my age that happens. But, I beleive Snopes has been proven to be owned by Sorros and has been caught at least twice, debunking that which was proven by other sources as true. One occasion was here, though I don't recall it. Bottom line, I am convinced Snopes cannot be trusted. But what do I know? Just check more sourses and see if you get the same result?

Are you fucking kidding me?

Nobody here won tonight.

Whoever won, we all lost.

A pack of seasoned murderers and thieves have remained in power, and aspiring murderers and thieves have gained power.

The election was just a ritual for the gang of sociopaths that rule over us.

If there are any winners its these criminals, not us.

We have to suffer at their hands.

You gotta

look at the bright side. The GOP will think twice from now on if they decide to pick someone that they know we won't vote for. This is a stepping stone to getting what we want. They'll also think twice about treating us like $hit in the primary.

Another positive-even though Obama won i actually allows us to get a liberty candidate into office sooner than if Romney won. If Romney had one...he could have served for 8 years...and then if a democrat got elected that pres could have served for an additional 4-8 years. So you could say we would have had 8-16 years before a liberty candidate would have even had a chance for the presidency again. Right now with obama winning it stands that we have a good shot in 4 years.

Romney lost in part because

Romney lost in part because of his anti liberty positions on woman's issues. He was opposed to abortion and went back and forth about exceptions in cases of rape and incest.

I hate to say this as a Ron Paul supporter because of his advocacy of the Constitution and his principled record of voting based on his oath of office, but Ron Paul is perceived by many as against a woman's right to choose.

His argument that life takes precedence over her liberty shows that to him her liberty is overruled and ignored. In the name of the life of a fertilized microscopic cell which merely contains the POTENTIAL to become a human being.

At least Gary Johnson is pro choice and there for more consistently pro liberty!

Ron Paul is in strange company with men like Akin and the other loser who believes that God intended for a raped woman to become pregnant by the rapist.

It is about time you "pro life" people grasp the distinction between an actual human being, the pregnant woman, and a POTENTIAL human being, the fertilized microscopic ovum.

"Today, when a concerted effort is made to obliterate this point, it cannot be repeated too often that the Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals- that it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the

You don't understand RPs abortion position at all

He has always stated that it should be left to the states. He also is fine with the morning after pill and things like that.

Of course it must be mentioned that nearly 100 million people...

...didn't vote at all.

That's a large untapped resource of votes.

How to motivate them is the question.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

That will be written off as "apathy" but that is a lie.

You cannot motivate me to vote again, I self govern. I know many people like me.
