The Morning After on Morning Joe : Country is becoming more libertarian
Submitted by RonPaul2012Supporter on Wed, 11/07/2012 - 13:26Joe Scarborough got it right...the morning after:
"I've been noticing it on the campaign trail...the country is becoming more libertarian..."
"You know what...there are A LOT of Ron Paul supporters, there are A LOT of libertarians... And believe it or not, there are a lot of fiscally conservative gay and lesbians who would support a Republican."

"There really is a touch of Jewish supremacism among many of them."
Oh, is there ever!
Oddly enough though, it's almost always 'Christians' I see/hear endlessly praising Jews and trampling over each other to come to the defense of anything perceived as "Jewish". One quote I hear/see repeated often is "Jews are like normal people, except more so" What?! Or, my personal favorite "countries are judged by how well they treat Jews." And this is coming from supposed 'Christians', mind you.
...and then they'll turn around and call anti-zionist Jews self-hating. What a world.
A signature used to be here!
These videos makes me sick
It's always about what can I do to get me some more votes so I can get into office and forget about what I said.
Sure as hell they'll probably start pandering now but you'd be a complete fucking moron if you bought into it.

Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution, inevitable.
More mass distortion. Almost
More mass distortion. Almost every second of it. For one, Ron Paul would have easily won the Republican Primary if TPTB didn't commit massive election fraud.
Why does Alex Jones insert a "submit to fear" subliminal message in his movies?
Actually...
this proves that we're winning. The MSM can't keep getting ratings without appealing to the actual mainstream, so the fact that they've now started talking about libertarian ideas shows that we're becoming the mainstream ideology of the American public.
I don't play, I commission the league.
Yep. Like I've been telling everyone here for quite some
time, we ARE winning and have been winning for several months. Our numbers keep growing, nationally and internationally, and TPTB know that. They have a better handle on just how big our movement is than we do.
A word of caution: Remember this... If ya can't whoop 'em, join 'em and then take them over and control them. Be alert and very careful now Patriots, because TPTB will try harder now than they did before with the Tea Party. Patriots know how that divide and conquer worked against us. Don't let that happen again. Stay alert, stay strong and for the love of Liberty, stay united!
Latinos who are Mexican
Latinos who are Mexican American or Central American are largely lower class or lower middle class. They are a natural Democratic Party constituency. This notion that the GOP can win them over with "comprehensive reform" is such nonsense.
Assuming that just because
Assuming that just because people are poor, that they are stupid and want their children and grandchildren to inherit a failed state is silly.
The corporatist/socialist/oligarch state has a big hand in keeping them poor - and this is something many are already aware of.
Our job is to simply counter the poor education system, and explain how free markets and restrained govt *combat* the corrupt forces that conspire to keep people down, dependent, and poor.
not assuming, but realistic
not assuming, but realistic about human tendencies
Where did I say they were stupid?
Check this out.
Check out this interesting video on youtube. I'm not endorsing anything he says but it's worth listening to. I recommend listening to all of it. He's a famous latino rap artist(Immortal Technique).

From what I understand, many
From what I understand, many Hispanics lean toward conservative values because they are Catholics. Some states lure the lower classes into the democratic side with handouts and such, but for those Hispanics that have been in the US for many generations and have property or businesses, there are many Republican Hispanics. As I understand it Texas has many.
No...
it's pretty much just Cubans who have consistently voted neocon. Pretty much all other Hispanics have been solid Dem voting blocs.
I don't play, I commission the league.
Funny enough, it's my opinion that it's Latinos
that are the most receptive to the message of liberty. That's what I found out while trying to reach out to them. I'm not trying to collectivize groups but it was a definite trend that I observed and it isn't about open borders also...
"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom — go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, an
70% of them went for Obama
Hispanics that are first or second generation immigrants are naturals for the Democratic Socislist Party.
I said "receptive"
def: 2. Ready or willing to receive FAVORABLY
They are willing to listen and actually carry through with research. It doesn't mean that most Hispanics have been approached, yesterday was evidence that they haven't. What I'm saying is that it is a demographic group that, in my opinion and experience, has great potential for growth.
Also, Romney was NOT the message of liberty, not even close. In fact it is the complete opposite so I don't know what the point of your reply is...

Correction
70% of Latinos who were duped into voting for one of the War party candidates voted for Obama. A lot of others made better choices last night, and stayed the hell out of that statistic.
This one...
...supports Ron Paul
"Whoever wishes peace among peoples must fight statism" - Ludwig von Mises
Your lack of faith...
Your lack of faith in the power/influence that the message of liberty can have on individual (irrespective of their social/economic background) is disturbing...
huh? I am not opposed to
huh? I am not opposed to Latino "outreach," but we shouldn't offer to open the border and let all of the illegals vote (unless of course we are ending the welfare state!).
I don't think Romney lost this election cause he was "too far right on immigration." That is what the elites want us to think.
Oh sorry. I thought u meant
Oh sorry. I thought u meant something else.
At 4:15 of the video, Joe said
"Let make no mistake that Govt is too big, the entitlement is broken, we spend too much on national defense, we should not be spending 2 BILLION per week in Afghanistan, we cant keep spending the way we are spending"
Damn you Joe, you would do A LOT for your country if you had SPOKEN UP earlier (like when Ron Paul was still in the running) !!!
He did. He even said he voted
He did. He even said he voted for Ron Paul in the FL primary.
He's been relatively supportive, to the degree his little MSNBC politically correct cabal will allow.
"When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny." - Thomas Jefferson
Is this the one where....
he was interviewed by Adam Kokesh? If i'm not mistaken he said he would have supported RP but did not say he voted for him.
Nonetheless, it is good that he said what he said this morning on national TV. just pissed he did not do MORE back then.
I just hope that the republicans who are now on a soul searching mission can Wake The F@#$ UP!
I was so proud of Joe when he said he voted Ron Paul
Search "MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough Confesses: ‘I Voted For Ron Paul'"
I think he also wrote about it in his blog?
Yes, search this too: "Scarborough: Why I voted for Ron Paul"

When I hear Jeb Bush and
When I hear Jeb Bush and Rubio being touted as the answer, I think they are not going to wake up.
This is why we have to support Rand and Co in the party
I am pissed with Rand for how he behaved. But we have to think BIG
The Republican party is on a soul searching mission. They are trying to re-invent their image.
If we as liberty lovers do not TAKE OVER the republican party (no matter how stink and corrupt it is), the Republican party will be run by pseudo fiscal conservative neocons like Rubio and Jeb as u rightly pointed out.
It is NOW guys! We have to take over the party from the neocons n purge or convert them
Agree
I think a lot of mainstream republican voters are receptive to Rand. I think they are vulnerable and receptive to new candidates, and more importantly, ideas right now. Rand is I think one of our best chances. He his known enough in the mainstream enough to get them to be interested. If we can get them to listen to us, we might have a shot as using our superior knowledge to teach them.
I'm disappointed in Rand for his endorsement, but I don't think I'm ready to throw him to the wind yet. Not with what's at stake. We are almost at the point where we having nothing to lose. This could be our chance to win a good share of the soon to be independents.
