Defeat Lindsey Graham in 2014

Please I know there is some divisiveness, of which I am party to as well, over 2016 candidates. It's very exciting and with marijuana legalization, and having so many liberty candidates win this year.

However, right now 2014 is very important for us. I think in 2014 our number one PRIORITY is defeating Lindsey Graham. Where's Tom Davis? Tell him to get in gear!

Anyone that has any news, opinions or insight would be most appreciated.

The following will be up for re-election in 2014. Challenge 'em!

Note: Some senators up for re-election (such as Jim Risch of Idaho and Mike Johanns of Nebraska) are not included in this list because I was unable to find detailed information on their positions, so I can't for sure say if they're friend or foe. Others, like John Cornyn (R-TX) already seem to agree with us on most issues, even if they don't explicitly identify as Paul supporters or with the Liberty movement.

-Jeff Sessions (R-AL). Iraq war supporter who called opponents of the war "blame America first". Also a member of something called the "International Narcotics Control Caucus"; doesn't sound too good.

-Mark Pryor (D-AR). Oddly, no Republican filed to challenge him in 2008. Seems like a "blue dog"--i. e., not as bad as a neocon on a progressive Democrat, but he's not really on the same wavelength as us either. Given how Republican-leaning Arkansas has become, this could present an opportunity if a liberty candidate filed to challenge him.

-Mark Begich (D-AK). Also a blue dog, but he's an Obamacare supporter. AK has a strong libertarian streak, making this another possible pickup.

-Mark Udall (D-CO). Another blue dog Democrat named Mark.

-Chris Coons (D-DE). This should be a very tough seat to get owing to how liberal Delaware is. Most of them probably won't vote for anyone with an "R" after their name, so, having a liberty candidate challenge Coons in the Dem primary might be the best option.

-Saxby Chambliss (R-GA). PIPA co-sponsor.

-Dick Durbin (D-IL). A liberal firebrand in a liberal firebrand state. As with Coons, he'll probably be impossible to defeat in a general election, only a primary would have any chance of success.

-Tom Harkin (D-IA). A leading supporter of taxpayer funding to Israel's military, which even Netanyahu has said that his country doesn't really need anymore. And an Obamacare supporter to boot.

-Pat Roberts (R-KS). Problematic stances on foreign policy.

-Mitch McConnell (R-KY). 'Nuff said.

-Mary Landrieu (D-LA).

-Susan Collins (R-ME). A squishy RINO. Maine is a strong state for Paul supporters, this is another prime opportunity.

-John Kerry (D-MA). However Kerry will likely be Obama's pick for a Cabinet seat, which means there will likely be a special election sooner than 2014. MA is another super-liberal state, our chances of winning there are very slim.

-Carl Levin (D-MI). A gun-grabber.

-Al Franken (D-MN). Kurt Bills should run again in 2014, this time to challenge Franken, who will be far more vulnerable than Klobuchar was in 2012, because unlike Klobuchar who has the support of many local Republicans and business leaders, Franken is reviled by conservatives.

-Thad Cochran (R-MS). The king of earmarks, according to Citizens Against Government Waste.

-Max Baucus (D-MT). Not such a bad guy, actually; on a lot of issues (foreign policy, economics, gun rights), he lines up with us. But he's still an Obamacare supporter.

-Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH). An Iraq War-supporting Democrat!

-Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ). Might not run again in 2014 (He's 88 so retirement is a possbility for him). An open seat would make it easier to win there, although NJ is still very liberal so it would be tough.

-Tom Udall (D-NM). Obamacare supporter.

-Kay Hagan (D-NC). Obamacare supporter and PROTECT IP Act co-sponsor.

-James Inhofe (R-OK). Claimed the 9/11 attacks were divine retribution against the United States for failing to support Israel (!!!) Also uses taxpayer money for inappropriate purposes, including foreign trips that he described as missionary in nature.

-Jeff Merkley (D-OR). Your garden-variety liberal Democrat.

-Jack Reed (D-RI). Ditto.

-Lindsey Graham (R-SC), as mentioned in the title of this thread.

-Tim Johnson (D-SD). An Obamacare-supporting Democrat in a very conservative state where Ron Paul did very well. Another "carpe diem" moment.

-Lamar Alexander (R-TN).

-Mark Warner (D-VA). Yet another Blue Dog named Mark!

-Jay Rockefeller (D-WV). An Iraq War supporter AND a big supporter of Obama's policies, too. Ugh.

-Mike Enzi (R-WY). Maybe not so bad, but he does favor a new national sales tax on online transactions (which should be a no-no).

Lamar Smith

Should go.

What do you have against Lesbians?

Leave her alone, she needs to have a job too... Well, then again...

Wha? .....hey....who stole my country?

We are running against Graham.

My Campaign staff are already talking with the GOP about a duel ticket against Graham. I am the libertarian candiate from US District One in SC. We have about 4 years experience in Campaigning and we are well connected. I am loyal Ron Pauler and have stayed the course he taught me. I will continue to do so. We are working now with Governor and staff to develop some sort of bridge between the Old Guard and the Liberty Faction. To me, that will be very tough, but I am willing to try. I am not as invested because I am a Libetarian way before a GOPer. Puts in a position to have less emotion.

How about this? JAIL Lyndsey Graham in 2014.

Or maybe RIGHT NOW.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."

This would be a nice

This would be a nice direction for the Liberty Movement to go for 2014. Start pinning pelts on the wall!

This would make BIG headlines and get Congress talking if we donated a ton to help get Lindsey Graham out of office.

I'm in FL and I would totally donate. And I'd do even more if it was somebody awesome like Tom Davis.

I'd love to see our senator Rubio (and the other one, Bill Nelson) go too, but I think Graham is much easier to beat.

I would donate to a liberty candidate who ran against Graham

in the primary. People wouldnt even have to try to convince me to donate - so long as the person was a real deal liberty type candidate.

I believe Tom Davis would fit the bill

Two years to go........

My friends, there are many that need to go but if we focused

on just one or two and called it a WAR for LIBERTY against the Status Quo. We could unseat these asses quicker than anyone could imagine. All it takes is for us to forget everyone of the assholes in our own states and get rid of these punks once and for all. When they see the money raised they will retire. they we can take on the next most vulnerable.

I'll live a little longer just to screw these big government progressive assholes. This is a fight worth living and fighting for. Now we must do this in a two prong attack. We must take out the two suck buddies. You cannot get rid of Lindsey without John. These are the two most corrupt anti-Liberty establishment candidates in this country other than their whore Nancy.

Dont worry we can take care of that bitch after we clean our own house.

I think this is a wonderful idea. Lindsey and John must eat worms.

Viral video

We need to create some good video of Davis to get his name recognition up in SC

Lindsey may own lindseygraham.com, but I now own lindseygraham2014.com...hahahahahah

Plain and simple awesome, lol.

Lindsey Grahm says he won't let GOP become Ron Paul Party

We MUST get rid of this closet queen! I'm a gay man, and he creeps me out!

They should just ask

They should just ask Lindsey why he isn't registered democrat.

OUST this guy!

Take the lead

Let's organize a sub-campaign on the DP targeted on defeating LG. Heck, we can start a Send Lindsey Packing PAC. I'm happy to help. He'd be a great senator to unseat. If the Roves and Cheneys of the world are going to hand-pick their puppets, let's target our resources on the most dangerous threats to liberty and find good people who can beat them without Koch/Adleson/Soros money.

Unlearning and self-teaching since 2008. Thanks, Dr. Paul!

I want Mary Landrieu out of

I want Mary Landrieu out of the U.S. Senate while Graham is also vacating his seat. These are, in my opinion, the best liberty-minded candidates from LA who sought to be elected to the U.S. House and the percentage of votes each of them received.

LA CD 1 Gary King (R) 8.54%
LA CD 2 Caleb Trotter (L) 2.36%
LA CD 3 Jeff Landry (R) 30.04%
LA CD 4 Randall Lord (L) 24.70%
LA CD 5 Clay Grant (L) 7.84%
LA CD 6 Rufus Craig (L) 10.5%

From Louisiana Also

I can't get behind Landry with his approval of the NDAA, Patriot Act and some more which I think are key making him a non liberty candidate to me. I agree we need to get Landrieu out and I think Jindal needs to go as well. This is my first time getting involved in politics it was my first year able to vote last year. If there's anything I can do to help the movement here please let me know.

This would be the best thing

This would be the best thing that could happen for us in 14, barring new developments. Graham is terrible and Davis is good news. I'm from Wis and i'd gladly donate to help Tom, watch his speech at the Paul Fest, i was sold after hearing him call Bernanke a tyrant

*Wisconsin Constitution* Article I, Section 25 "The people have the right to keep and bear arms for security, defense, hunting, recreation or any other law-abiding purpose"

He called him a

Traitor! That was the best supporting speech ever. I'd also gladly help Tom.

Send word

to Tom Davis via his website or on Facebook that you will support him. Let's hope that very early next year he'll make it official so we can get to work.

Graham is a

subhuman little POS vermin.

What would the Founders do?

count me in....

Graham is the worst gop senator by far.

Regular news on Tom Davis here

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

Hells yes...

...I already pledged to donate, even though I'm not from SC, and I stand by that pledge. the mid-term elections should be our top priority now. Let Tom Davis winning a Senate seat in 2014 be a preview of a liberty candidate winning the GOP nomination in 2016.

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

Mitch McConnell needs to lose

as well, just to show Jesse how much we care about him.

Mitch McConnel needs to lose...

...but let's do it to put another liberty candidate in the Senate, not for revenge.

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

He should be arrested for Treason. You don't tell the

Constitution to "Shut up!"

here he is saying it:
