Would you do it all again?

Knowing everything you now know and some you already knew, but forged ahead anyway, would you do it all again?

Would you call for Dr. Ron Paul?

Would you become a delegate?

Would you donate?

Would you purchase SuperBrochures, t-shirts, bumper stickers?

Would you join the phone from home?

Would you donate to help delegates get to other states to help?

Would you travel to Tampa on your last tank of gas and bald tires?

Would canvass your neighborhoods and spread Ron Paul signage everywhere?

Would you drive people to the polls?

Would you rent a van or us to get people there?

Would you put "Don't let the media choose, think for yourself! Ron Paul 2012" on the back window of your vehicle?

Would you write all of those letters to the editor?

What would you change about what you did or didn't do, if you could?

This post is to discuss these questions, Would you do it again? Would you talk and walk the walk of an American who values freedom?

AND what next?

Ron Paul 2016? Why not?

Of course I would!

But, it would need to be more like the 07/08 campaign full of enthusiasm, signs - just with the crowd size from this last year! This last campaign was just a little too "professional" - probably due to the Romney threat (which I think would have been disastrous had it been challenged, in that sense the campaign played it correctly).

Sadly, I don't think Ron Paul has it in him to do it again. But, Napolitano, Schiff, Ventura, whomever - I'm all in.

Not sure if I would go for a GOP nomination again. I think the party elders are just too corrupt and communist authoritarian at this point. Personally, I and my local liberty lovers are probably at a good place to take over - just seems like we are the exception. And, given the new rule changes, I think the Polit Bureau has us by the neck.

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."--Mark Twain

Absolutely, YES!

I haven't stopped for 5 years and I will continue for the rest of my life. Being not quite 30 yet leaves me many good years ahead.

No

Not until we find a way to prosecute corrupt party officials when they engage in open electoral fraud and get rid of the electronic voting machines. It's hard enough having to deal with a hostile corporate owned media. Working our behinds off and donating money during a depression for campaigns when we know the whole thing is fixed is just not worth it.

I am 11 months new to this. I wish that I knew then what I know now.

Would I do it all again? They ain't seen nothing yet.

If Ron chose to run again in 2016, I will be right there on the front line. If Amash or another as dedicated to preserving our Liberty, our Republic runs, I will be right there on the front line.

I love Ron Paul. Period.

I love Ron Paul. I believe that there are many paths that need to be walked to get to the "land of the free and home of the brave." It takes bravery to be, and live, free. And it takes many people working from many different fronts to bring down the collective barriers to our individual freedoms. I applaud every effort to that end, and every path chosen.

However, because I know that the several states are individual nations or countries in union, and that the United States is not a country but an international corporate organization established for the purposes of administering the foreign, or international, affairs of each of the nations in union, I understand that being a US citizen is not the same thing as being a national of any of the several states, and that as a US citizen one is, by operation of law, a foreign insurgent in the state in which he votes.

I therefore cannot ever vote again until it becomes legal for the natives of each state to vote in their own lawful countries as it was prior to the, so called, Civil War.

Forever!

As far as my imagination can see.

Ron Paul's ideas? Forever & beyond.

I have been doing it for a long time.

I do it every day, tell people about the broken system, where we get our news, what is in our food, etc...

Not sure how to fix the broken political system. We either get involved or ignore them and they will go away??? Yeah right! Wish that would occur!

Take these www.3StepsTowardFreedom.com to assist Ron Paul in becoming our next Commander In Chief. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-480OMya3U

Freedom is chosen every step along the way.

Thank you for your reply. It is insightful. You wrote about what, where & how. These are key questioning words. Who, whom, why & a few others come to mind as well. We both study Dr Ron Paul's messages. That gives us guidance & direction.

I thought about answering your question as a preacher might. Or as a lawyer might. A politician perhaps? But I repeat myself.

Thought about covering the whole spectrum including who, whom, & why. Yet, upon reflection, it seems our broken political system is in urgent need of fixing. Certainly to ignore politics is at our peril. My response, hoping to cover even just your one stated question seems dauntless.

And in summary... [Sigh] Let me reply promptly. I don't know.

of course I would and ready

of course I would and ready to do so again

could not

Stop me!

In A Word...

YES!!

olds

yes

yes.

In an interview he said he was leaving the House because people were sick of him -- but his constituents returned him in growning percentages.

It is only DC that is sick of him, and we are sick of them.

That was my third go-round and I hope to be around for the next one.

Yes

And not hesitate one minute thinking about it.

If I had to do it all over again, the only thing I would have done different is join the GOP in 07 instead of 11.

I second that!

I second that!

Yes and

I will do more. Because of Dr. Paul and my enthusiasm for him, this was the first political cycle where I started to really get involved, and even caucused here in Iowa for the first time. I didn't understand how the process worked, and thus didn't become a delegate at my precinct; I thought I could leave after I put my name for nomination to be a delegate... wrong move!!! Now I know how that, and much more, works. I will be ready in 2016.

We did do it all again! Most

We did do it all again!

Most of us embarked down this same exact path in 2008.

Nope. Fooled me twice already, shame on me.

Lew Moore was a back stabbing SOB who was put at the top of the 2008 campaign. Jesse Benton was at the top this time. I do not believe Dr. Paul has the ability to put the right person at the top of his campaign. He insists on trusting only family rather than looking at the amazing track record of people who came out of no where to help him. I realize he is in a very difficult position, but he blew it twice.
For example - what if Nystrom had been in Benton's position? Had 2012 tapped the talent unearthed in 2008, we'd have "President Paul" today. I will not be banging my head against the same brick wall in the future.

I watched "us" become "them" already.

Understand Lew Moore was just the biggest knife I got in my back. I was sold down the river in some deal that I have NEVER had explained to em by my fellow RP delegates. They cut some kind of deal with the devil, and assured the devil they would "handle" Mark and I.
At the state level, people who had never heard of Ron Paul before I got hold of them or who landed positions on county committees started cutting deals and stabbing each other in the back. There became 2 factions - those that enjoyed political power, and those that cherished liberty. How does this divide ever become reconciled? What "we" - the champions of individual liberty - can possibly exist in a political fuster cluck to tyranny at every level?

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

This cycle I was informed...

Thanks mainly to this among other sites...

Next cycle I will act.

I would do more for Dr. Paul

I would do more for Dr. Paul if I could do it over.

What I did:
I talked and shared the message with friends, family, and co-workers.
I posted signs at my local university.
I put a bumper sticker on my car.
I blogged and shared links on the dailypaul, youtube, and facebook.
I donated to every money bomb.
I drove five hours with two undecided and apathetic friends to hear Dr. Paul speak in Missouri.
I read The Revolution; A Manifesto and End The Fed.
I voted for Ron Paul on the day of the primary.

What i'll add the next time we have a liberty candidate running:
I'll phone bank.
I'll attend my local GOP meetings.
I'll try to become a delegate.
I might attend a primary debate.

"Where liberty is, there is my country." -Benjamin Franklin

Conditionally

We the grassroots run the whole show with Ron.

No Trygvie Olsons,Jesse Bentons,or Jack Hunters or others of their ilk.

Doug Wead ok by me.

A purging if you will.

I would suggest Tom Woods as lead campaign chair. And the gloves come off and get thrown away. Other than that no dice.

November 6th 2012 I voted for Dr.Ron Paul
"We must remember, elections are short-term efforts. Revolutions are long-term projects." ~ Ron Paul

Jury is still out for me on Doug Wead, listening to

both sides.

I like the idea of gloves off. We need that. If we even have an election....

For Ron and Carol, most definitely!

For the Jesse Benton ran campaign, not so much... or should I say at all. The MSM will do it for him.

Thinking maybe my effort worked in a way, woke up more people to why our Constitution is so important. I would put the time, effort, and money in again and I will do it again and again. It is worth it.

Ron Paul 2016, only if he has a different crew running the show.

No, no, and HELL NO!!!

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me, but betray me... and you will have died to me. Forever. No one should ever attempt to resurrect the dead.

It's a different story for me really...

I was on a different train up until November 2011. Thinking of the supporters who not only held fast in this election but the last and with Rand Paul and with all the liberty candidates that got elected just warms the heart beyond words. Would if I could have done the delegate training, the brochure passing, the meeting and planning, travelling to Tampa.

But the grand lesson was that it's on us, not on Paul to do these things for ourselves if we want it. The movement plays as if it's the last leg of liberty and because it is. Every missed opportunity is on my conscience as a libertarian.
