Ron Paul Won't Go Quietly

Americans haven't heard the last of libertarian icon Ron Paul.

The former Republican presidential candidate, who inspired the most passionate followers of anyone in the 2012 race, says he will continue spreading the word about the need for less government, lower taxes, and fewer U.S. military interventions abroad.

Did Romney really oppose the bailouts?

I thought he supported them.

That was the bailout of the banks not GM.

There is no doubt Romney supported the bailout after he opposed it. He likes to straddle both sides of any debate which fits with his position on GM.

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)

From other articles I have read and videos I have seen.

He supported the bank bailouts as well as opposing them. I believe there was an article, an Op Ed, that headlined his opposition to the GM bailout but whether he did is quite fuzzy...as always. Bain Capital also made millions from it whether he opposed them or not.

The point is he was stuck politically with the statement made opposing the bailout in the Op Ed and that is what Dr. Paul is referring to I believe.

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)

More Appearances Than Other 2012 GOP Contenders

In addition to that, the mainstream news networks will be asking Congressman Paul to speak on their shows frequently (especially the business/financial ones), long after he's gone.

Karma - this was an article linked from the above article

Bet your ass...

...he won't ! When I first heard about RP from my friend (that was during RP's first presidential attempt as a republican) I thought that both of them were crazy. By the time he was fighting McCain in Nevada (and when, by they way, they showed 1st, 3rd and 4th spot on CNN, while ignoring the 2nd - guess who) I was already a hard-core supporter.

Ron Paul will be remembered long after he's gone from this world, not just the republican party.
