I WAS KIDDING!
Paul is looking good...can't wait til Monday
Ick!
Ick!
Oh sure, I can just see Ron Paul
sitting down with Romney and THE LAWYERS to decide declaration of war... ha ha ha
At the last debate...
He admitted that he hadn't even read Dr. Paul's political positions!!!
Besides, Romney is too focused on buying Clearchannel.
No...
Who would even suggest this?
Romney will not get the nomination past the southern states because of his Mormon religion. The bible belt--will reject him thoroughly. Don't bash the statement---anti-Mormonism is alive in the south.
Further, Romney is a man without anchor, changes his platform as often as the wind.
How about we just stop commenting on this and let it die.
seriously...
why is it you are always telling us to shut-up? That is the subject of most of your posts.
doesn't make any sense,
but nevertheless I did find an interesting passage on Mitt's father, George, at Wikipedia.
George ran for the Repub presidential nomination in 1968 against Richard Nixon. George, like McCain, had been in the Vietnam war. Here's from Wiki:
On August 31, 1967, Governor Romney made a statement that ruined his chances for getting the nomination.[4] In a taped interview with Lou Gordon of WKBD-TV in Detroit, Romney stated, "When I came back from Viet Nam [in November 1965], I'd just had the greatest brainwashing that anybody can get." He then shifted to opposing the war: "I no longer believe that it was necessary for us to get involved in South Vietnam to stop Communist aggression in Southeast Asia," he declared. Decrying the "tragic" conflict, he urged "a sound peace in South Vietnam at an early time." Thus Romney disavowed the war and reversed himself from his earlier stated belief that the war was "morally right and necessary."
The connotations of brainwashing, following the experiences of American prisoners of war (highlighted by the 1962 film The Manchurian Candidate), made Romney's comments devastating to his status as the GOP front-runner. The topic of brainwashing quickly became newspaper editorial and television talk show fodder, with Romney bearing the brunt of the topical humor. Republican Congressman (later U.S. Senator) Robert T. Stafford of Vermont sounded a common concern: "If you're running for the presidency," he asserted, "you are supposed to have too much on the ball to be brainwashed."[4]

The "new" Republicans are as evil and deceptive as the Nazis. There is no room for consorting with the enemy.

that is just a
stupid comment. They are not Nazis, as much as we may disagree with them. Sophomoric.
who's sophomoric?
- The Patriot Act
- spying on citizens
- enhanced interrogation techniques
- The Homeland
- let's not forget "PREEMPTIVE WAR"
I'm surprised Bush hasn't reintroduced the swastika. After all, as the "new" Republicans would argue, it used to be a sign of good luck.

It would be such a
It would be such a contradiction in philosophies, direction and I'm sure that Dr. Paul would never consider it, thankfully.

GO DR. PAUL.
GEAUX RON PAUL 2012.
The only way that would be
The only way that would be considered is if Paul had the delegates that Romney needed to win the nomination, and the only way to get them would be to get Paul on his side. However, I dont expect Paul to fall in line behind Romney. I do however hope that Paul doesn't drop (if he it becomes clear that he cant win) and therefore because he has delegates should get a speaking role at the National Convention.
