The American people.

They're the ones that vote and constitute the partisans that count the votes. We could run Thomas Jefferson, win him the Republican nomination and he would still lose in a landslide to the Democrat because the media and academia would crucify him as a racist for owning slaves before stepping in the time machine. The fact is NONE of those people can win the Republican nomination, much less become president in this current political climate of social Marxism. There's only one hope of ever getting a liberty-minded president again and that's by changing the way people think about American history, self-government, personal liberty, Constitutionalism, foreign policy, property rights, and economics. If we can find a way to beat the media and academia, we'll be in a position where any one of those men could sweep the Republican nomination and cruise to victory in the general election.

That's my bid unless someone else emerges.

Is the only one who has a shot.

If he is smart, he will endear himself to wall street. I say that with the sad cynicism of watching many Republican nominations over the years.

It's a sad fact that money buys the sheeple voting block.

If Rand did make it, it would be a GOP rejection of the neo-cons for certain.

Rand is definitely light years better than Romney at public speaking. He's a notch above Santorum too.

Rand Paul and it is not even

Rand Paul and it is not even close. Only Rand Paul is filibustering military spending bills and the Patriot Act.

Agree 100%. I couldn't care

Agree 100%. I couldn't care less who runs in 2016 cuz they won't be my president.

Ron or Rand

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

Our best hope is to have us

Our best hope is to have us run for State House, State Senate, U.S. House, U.S. Senate, Governor, Secretary of State, City Clerk, County Clerk, City Council, etc.

Amash should be at the top of

Amash should be at the top of the list. Walter Jones should also be there. Woods is a smart guy but he has no experience outside of univeristies and think tanks. Schiff was annihilated when he tried to run for higher office and then, sadly, caved in almost immediately on Iran. Johnon ran a good campaign and is getting better. He certainly belongs there.

vote for yourself and your

vote for yourself and your family...keep prepping and stacking.

Don't ever let any of these campaigns take your money again. We've done enough to support the Jesse Benton retirement fund.

“Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it’s realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy.”
― Ron Paul

Since RP continually gets the overwhelmingly most support and donations from active duty and retired armed forces personnel, I think it should be a Veteran. Perhaps Officer but does not really matter. ie. a General etc. would have the best name recognition imo.

btw, What about that MacGregor guy?

I forget his branch of service but he was on freedom watch quite a bit.

We the people,

are the best hope for 2016. No one person is going to solve our problems for us...especially with our voting system being what it is. If I had a choice, I would love to see a Ron Paul/Rand Paul ticket in 2016, but unless we can find a way to make sure our votes count, it doesn't matter who is on the ticket. Each one of us needs to take responsibility to influence our own personal spheres in whatever positive way we can by educating and waking people up, by challenging their unconstitutional laws and withdrawing our consent. And of course for me, the ultimate answer is belief and faith in God, knowing that as always, He is in control and all things will ultimately be worked out for His Glory.

Must Watch...

...many would consider this a bad interview with Rand Paul but I think not many have listened to it in its entirety. Some of the things he says in there are truly amazing (especially towards the end). Thanks Daily Paul Radio for conducting this :D

We need to get an early start on 2016: Support Rand PAC 2016

It Seems Not Too Many People Are answering The Question...

...RAND PAUL 2016.

We need to get an early start on 2016: Support Rand PAC 2016

"You can't change Washington

"You can't change Washington from within." Barack Obama

I think this was the one time he actually didn't lie.

If You want a name I say Rand Paul.
Because he's an insider and so on.
But I doubt that a good and honest man (Ron Paul) will ever win.

Welcome back!!!!

I missed you, AttilasDaughter.

Got so excited,

I hit the save button too hard. LOL

I'd like Ron Paul too

he'll be 80, but then again, Ben Franklin attended the Constitutional Convention at age 82, and that was back in the 1700s when people didn't live as long to begin with. So age need not be an issue for Ron either, especially because he's young at heart.

But I'd like to see Justin Amash, too (as the running mate; or if Ron Paul decides he doesn't want to run, I'll respect that decision, in which case Amash is my second choice). He was the first Congressman to always post a Constitutional justification for any of his votes, up or down.

Not to mention that an Amash candidacy would drive folks like Pamela Geller, Debbie Schlussel, David Horowitz and John Hagee absolutely BONKERS! When the neocons expose themselves for the nasty bigots they truly are (and having an Arab-American running for president, as a Republican no less, will certainly make them do so), no one in their right mind, Republican or otherwise, will ever give them the time of day again. Which is exactly what we'd like to see. I've had it up to here with neocons and establishment Republicans claiming that Paul supporters are racist and bigots, when it should be obvious to anyone that the REAL racists and bigots are on their side, not ours.

I want Ron

but I don't have much expectation he'll run.

Integrity means having to say things that people don't want to hear & especially to say things that the regime doesnt want to hear -RonPaul

Ron Paul is very friendly

Ron Paul is on very friendly terms with Free Staters http://freekeene.com/2012/10/14/ron-paul-loves-the-free-stat...

Plus an actual governor of NH (Craig Benson) actually welcomed Free Staters with open arms years ago.

The real question is who will

The real question is who will be running and will the presumed economic turmoil to come (predicted by nearly everyone) push Americans to vote outside their comfort zone. At the very least Gary Johnson has 4 years to build awareness, otherwise Americans will simply blame Democrats and rubberband their votes toward Republicans again, resulting in the same back-and-forth nonsense that has gotten us nowhere.

What can we do now to help Rand be the nominee?

He is the only viable liberty candidate for President. There is no other scenario where a more liberty minded person would be the nominee.

Ignore Him

If you don't, when the rubber meets the road and it's either you or the RNC, you'll lose to another one of his strategic foxy behavior scenarios--you know the one where Rand has some sneaky inter-galactic sleuth-like move up his sleeve that only He and God can speak about openly. Then the rest of the mundanes can continue to live in denial, hoping for a Rand repentance right around the next corner.

err, Rand would never endorse

err, Rand would never endorse Claire McCaskil.
