Wow ... it looks like the black out of Rand Paul has already started ...
Submitted by baparson on Sun, 11/11/2012 - 19:44Has anybody else noticed that? That didn't take the establishment thugs too long to get started. Even though Rand Paul stuck his neck out there and played a little politics in supporting Romney ... the black out still happens. What kind of fu*king world do we live in???!!!

it ain't gonna work this
it ain't gonna work this time.
A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Thomas Jefferson. A vote for Rand Paul is a vote for James Madison.
yep i agree .. it is not
yep i agree .. it is not going to happen the same way ever again lol ... they can try .. but it's not going to matter
No worries
People are basically electioned out and don't want to hear the losers. So now they will focus on murdering people in countries that we can easily bully. In about 4 months he will be askes to appear on crappy programs on SHMUX news channel.

I remember this interview.
I remember this interview. Rand explained himself and Kurt was respectful in that he let Rand answer his questions and didn't word twist what Rand said, didn't insert his interpretation of what Rand said. Good job, Rand. Good job, Kurt.
School's fine. Just don't let it get in the way of thinking. -Me

lol. Yes, that one. I was on that DP page and clicked the link, then I came to this DP page and, as you can see, left a comment regarding the other DP page, the one you linked to their interview. lol. Funny. I've got too many things going on.

Blackout?
I'd like to Black both of his eyes, the little NeoCon twerp.
You obviously do not know
You obviously do not know what you are talking about. Please listen to this in its full. I have just regained a lot of respect for Rand Paul.

I wouldn't call it a
I wouldn't call it a blackout. He actively supported a loser in more ways than one. Why should he be news-worthy at this juncture?
The Black Out Has Accured Because...
He is a threat to the establishment.

Rand Paul is so much closer to Ron Paul then everyone thinks.

Oh....he may be a sell-out
Oh....he may be a sell-out but he is still closer to Ron than someone like Rubio. For this reason, his "brilliant" strategy to win over the Hannitys and Becks of the world was doomed from the beginning.
Jesse Benton running
Since Ron Paul's campaign manager Jesse Benton is going to run Mitch McConnell's 2014 campaign in Kentucky, Rand Paul is probably going to be in the news as well.
Not saying I like the politics, just saying that is how it is being played.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.
Not surprising. In my opinion
Not surprising. In my opinion Rand Paul is already a house hold name among Republicans. Which will be helpful for a possible 2016 presidentual run.
Anecdotally, I can report
Anecdotally, I can report that a number of the neocons I know are excited about Rand. I have mixed feelings about that, as I'm sure you understand.
You always get hell
when you make a deal with the devil.

agreed. the devil's bargain
is the worst bargain you can ever make.
Except that Rand is beating them at their own game.. Ha Ha!
Rand has more support from the uninformed NEO-CONs than he lost from pure Libertarians that would never come over and work within the Republican Party anyway... not even to support Ron Paul.

BINGO!

You can be sure that if Rand was owned he would have the support
Rand is his own man, made in the image of his father.
Rand Paul is ready to carry this movement forward.
Those who think he is a sell-out are simply not paying attention or they are pissed that he is not a pure Libertarian running as a Libertarian.
Ron Paul already made the case for us to become Republicans and stay involved in the Republican Party.
His son is now leading that charge and the "establishment thugs" have taken notice and are already well on their way to ignoring him.

Rand Paul got 0% in Political Insiders Poll

I know a quite a few people...
...that are neo-cons as was I. They weren't that fond of Ron Paul as the media twisted his foreign policy. However, for some reason they all do like Rand Paul and have even mentioned that he should run in 2016. That is a surprise to me and I don't know what to make of it yet. They won't easily forget him, so it doesn't surprise me that the media would try to form an effort to do so.
Surprising? Hannity told them
Surprising? Hannity told them that it's okay to like Rand. What more do they need?
True that!
=/
Yes, I actually have noticed
Yes, I actually have noticed this. It's still early, so I'm not going to be too quick to judge, but all I've heard the talking heads do is start to push Rubio on us.
Entirely predictable as many
Entirely predictable as many here pointed out. Rand was a useful idiot for Romney. He not only endorsed Romney but did it on Hannity before the convention when the delegates were stilling making a valiant effort. Then he dutifully launched a campaign to "sell" Romney to us. Once the useful idiot was no longer needed, he was abandoned. The neocons would never trust Rand with any power.
