Well. Doug Wead. Thanks for the napkin now pay for my dry cleaning.

Doug Wead, last man in the campaign I respect did a quick bow and curtsey to us grassroots, us "fringe". Gee, we ought to be more inclusive.

I think of our beloved brother Aaron Russo and how at his death we carefully considered who would carry our banner, who could be trusted because Aaron didn't pussyfoot or play nice with our opposition. He played to HURT THEM AND WIN.

Thanks to the Fish Sisters, we have a stock answer. Let's play nice. Very nice. Very nice indeed.

Those of us on the grass roots, when we send $100 that means we and our families are going without the nicer foods we like to eat. We are putting off vacations and a better car. We are giving up, WE ARE GIVING OF OUR LIVES. WHAT WE GIVE THE CAMPAIGNS IS SOMETHING WE DON'T GET OR WE HAVE TO WORK HARDER FOR.

I wanted something more than "gee, we should be more inclusive". This is a war. And while I know that wars need certain persons that stay in 5 start hotels and order as much as they want, whenever they want to eat,

Because my kids have to hear why the movement is more important than their new school clothes and why we don't have as nice foods on the table as they used to have and why they are not as warm at night as they want to be.

You tell me why doing with less is our tradition and getting paid more to fail is yours.

And I'm not buying it again and I'm not paying for your kids to have a nicer life than mine. Ever again. Because I trusted you and I don't anymore.

I am fringe. FRINGE. Part Native American and this is my land. Yep.

The people born of this natural soil now pay you rent.

Now go to the Hamptons on vacation so I can forget you.

Oh wait! The Hamptons just got wrecked! Ok no problem,

You know,

I have no pity on anyone who cannot identify a huckster within a few minutes. I was going to post on the post by fish announcing the interview. My post would have been... "Oh darn, I will be on the toilet during the interview. A stool....err, step above listening to Weed".

Give me a break people... Some Arsh that laughs after almost everything he says is an untrustworthy steaming pile of cowdung.

Everntually everyone will realize this. Ignore the putz and stop posting the trash that he throws into his garbage bin.

Doug Weed... What a guy (Groucho holding his cigar)

It's Wead, not Weed.

I agree exactly with your assessment:

"Some Arsh that laughs after almost everything he says is an untrustworthy steaming pile of cowdung."

He is very sophomoric and plays to emotions, he is the smoothest of the co-opters, BUT we shouldn't let that hurt weeds good name!

One is a Groucho holding a cigar... the other can be mixed with a cigar to form a blunt.

Well, I don't get it....

...what is the OP angry about exactly?

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

His own lack of information. Trygve Olson and if I have to post

this a million times here I'll do it until it's no longer necessary.

At 2:50 There Is A Bald Headed Guy With Glasses = Trygve Olson
that is the one who manipulated Ron Pauls Campaign into ruins and pulled Jesse Bentons strings. He is the Benedict Arnold of our days. He is Jesse Bentons Brain just as Karl Rove was to Bush. I can't stomach Benton one bit but the blame and anger should be laid at the rightful owner which is Trygve.

The Traitor that sabotaged Ron Pauls 2012 Campaign
His Name Is Trygve Olson And Here Is What He Did

Exposed Here by Justin Raimondo in a brilliant AntiWar.com article.

Penny Freeman, former staffer in tears over Ron Paul betrayals

Long story short is Trygve Olson wrote the handbook on how to take down governments not friendly to US interest's and worked with the CIA during the Color Revolutions using his work.

Fast forward to 2009. It appears but I cannot confirm that George Soros suggested to Mitch McConnell that Trygve Olson be sent into the Rand Paul camp so there would be an adult in the room.

Trygve Olson joins Rand Paul 2010,he gains Rands trust and helps him win Kentucky.Jesse Benton was onboard also.

Rand Paul in 2011 suggest to his father to hire Trygve Olson for his 2012 campaign.

And here we are.

Trygve Olson Facebook

November 6th 2012 I voted for Dr.Ron Paul
"We must remember, elections are short-term efforts. Revolutions are long-term projects." ~ Ron Paul

This is what I was trying to

This is what I was trying to figure out?? Doug Wead is awesome and has the smarts to get a libertarian elected, especially since Jessie Benton's has been exorcised.. I guess I'm "apart of the problem". Sigh, I'm so tired of the division within our own movement.

I don't care what any of you say - Wead, Schiff, Woods, Hunter and Rand are all on our side and I will SUPPORT THEM. Some of you can live in your Alex Jones world of perpetual distrust and conspiracy if you want, but I'll choose both reality and sanity.

I don't trust wead.

His story doesn't add up to me. I know I won't change your mind, but just watch out for him.

How exactly is a) endorsing

How exactly is a) endorsing and campaigning for Romney and b) working for Mitch McConnell sane????

Woods is for real for sure. Schiff probably so also.

Wead? Hunter? Rand? The jury is still out, and if you don't see that, you are blind to the movement. Just go look on youtube, dailypaul, and facebook. Better yet, go talk to some real folks and you'll find that people are very skeptical of Rand, Hunter, and Wead.

And, there's good reason for that (e.g. see my first sentence).

If Rand, Hunter, Benton, and the lot aren't careful, they will be out of a job soon. They need to address the issues that the majority of the movement are raising. (particularly the Romney endorsement and all those excuses)

Sweeping it under the rug isn't gonna work.

Rand just has different tactics than Ron. If you truly believe that Rand Paul is up to something and cant be trusted then you're the blind one. I mean hes Ron Paul's son for crying out loud. Are you kidding me?? Rand ran for senate and got elected in his first ever attempt for public office. Hes doing something right and hes on our side. Either you're a troll trying to divide us or a total ignoramus. I say we all get behind Rand because there's no one out there that comes in even close. Time is running and short. Let's get going. Rand Paul '16

What did I miss? Please,

What did I miss? Please, someone post a link to whatever Wead wrote.

Resist the temptation to feed the trolls.

I hear you, Smudge, but now

I hear you, Smudge, but now it is time to hunker down some, and put up as much as you can for you and yours. Gonna get rough.

This is war

Instead of donating money and then bitching about it why not get in the arena and start going to GOP central committee meetings,, at least you get coffee for your time and gas.

SHOW UP.. that's where it's at.

Granger, you are plucky,, but what part of this do you not get?

There can be no take over from within, the GOP has legally agreed to allow vote fraud. They do not like RP Republicans, they will commit the fraud themselves if they wish knowing that YOU, as a Republican, are bound by this same settlement and YOU cannot investigate fraud even in a race you enter.

And for the record, I DID "get in there." Sat on the State Central Committee for 2 years and learned it was a lot of pomp and circumstance and had virtually no effect on the politicians from my state. They would show up and talk, but they never, ever listened. The entire committee thing is placebo politics- let the little people feel powerful (and OMG, they get drunk on that power FAST!) but there is nothing these committees do that has any binding effect on anything at all. But go for it, you clearly will not listen to those who walked that path before you did. And if you develop a taste for power, you will have a really good time and be able to convince yourself you are doing really good work. You realize Karl Rove thinks he is doing good work?

We have a winner fishyculture!!!

As a former Independent

I found the only people I was voting for were people being selected/vetted for me by those in other parties. Independents can run for office, but they have no "party" of insiders, connections to put them over the top of the two /one major party.

So why not lake a leg while MSM projects it as standing and make it ours?

I think the inside track committee gives to become delegates and work campaigns for candidates that are under the influence of Ron Paul is worthy.

Why don't you? You think Indy is a solution? There's a hell of alot I can do with the GOP.. just need folks to show up. And I'm sure, that those of us who are in and working on issues and candidates will do better in 2016 than the Indy's.

I think that is as much a failed strategy as hiring Tate and Benton gain. It was tried before (remember Goldwater), and the Communist/Bankster elders still found a way to screw him.

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."--Mark Twain

Read your own signature Mohusk

I think Benton and Tate did an outstanding job because Ron Paul was a contender with massive force the MSM and Communist Bankster elders could not suppress and they desperately fought, lied, cheated, fraud.. my God man.. NO ONE, not even Perot had the backing of Ron Paul and the fact it was focused on a major artery, oops I meant party..

First they ignor you.. been there done that
Then they laugh at you.. I know there's still jokes just look at the SNL and Onion threads
Then they Fight you... THIS IS WAR.. a war of ideas and it was focused like pirahnah on a fatted communist bankster elder..

Know what Nader got in four Indy presidential campaigns?

Benton and Tate did outstanding.

The ones who failed were those who thought they could buy their way out of the war by chipping into the war fund. You have to show up.

Did you Mohusk?

Did you go to committee meetings?

You are deluded

"Massive support" in the MSM? You mean getting on FOX Business once a month? Seriously, if you believe that you need help.

And, if you remember, Perot got over 20% of the vote in the election - we got less than 2%. Nice comparison.

I wish you luck, but the Elders of Zion at the RNC, especially given the rule changes, don't care what you think.

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."--Mark Twain

Thank you

Massive support in people, not MSM.. we busted through. Many people are aware who Ron Paul is and we did way better than in 08.

Perot had money, corporate money and started his own party. That party is gone and tptb will not allow that to heppen again.

Again, thank you for the good luck wish. People called Ron Paul "Crazy Uncle" for decades.

Go figure.

We had 24% in '08 and 17% in 201 in my state. .

In case you are bad at math, that is worse. That indicates a loss of support. The GOP was actually fairly civil when we "invaded" in '08, but they were openly nasty this time. I am glad things look so rosy in your part of the world, but I wonder if perhaps some of it is due to rose colored glasses?

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

"We" had 24% What?

In 08 Ron Paul took 125,365 votes 4.3% in the primary.

In 12, Ron Paul more than doubled his percentage in every county and trippling it in some, like mine http://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/sov/2012-primary/pdf/56-pres...

In 08 I refesed to join the GTOP had been an Indy too long, after three campaigns as a Nader volunteer. When Ron Paul announced this last run, I joined the GOP knowing Ron Paul was going to remain in the GOP. I'm not dead and either are those like me in the GOP who realise we can do all we did as grassroots in the GOP.. so why not?

"In my state."

In the Idaho primary, Ron Paul took 24% in 2008. In the 2012 caucus, he took 17%.
And now that you have confessed to being one who sat on the sidelines while I stared down jack booted thugs at the RNC, I kindly ask you to get over yourself.
Happy Thanksgiving. You are welcome for the trail I blazed for you, by the way.

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

Thank's for the crap

In 07/08 I did not sit on sidelines. I refused to join the GOP. I really liked Ron Paul but when it came to the GOP.. there was no way in HELL. I campaigned for Ron Paul, started the Fort Bragg Meet-up, joined other Meet-ups and drove from my home, to Eureka, to San Fran to Reno NV going to events, including a nice lunch where I met Ron Paul, and gave him among others gifts, an abalone shell, still considered legal tender in the Neatherlands and why a person can not transport abalone to the Netherlands. I put up banners, posted signs, made and passed out flyers.. spoke at events.. wrote about Ron Paul.. worked very hard.. as many grassroots do.. but I really didn't know the GOP. All I knew was what I read and saw in MSM and based on the few people I knew who were GOP. And that is why I question grassroots at this point. All that work and for what? For someone like you to now say get over myself because I wasn't GOP then? I regret not being GOP then. That's my one regret. How stupid.. ignornant, foolish, prejudiced, bigoted, under the influence of MSM, and propeganda BS, to not join the GOP.

To not join the GOP for Ron Paul was my biggest mistake.

So this election I joined. And I learned what a fool I was. I got over myself by becoming listed as a national delegate, getting a seat, and doing everything I was doing as grassroots, but now as a Republican. And it's awesome.

My first meeting.. there were two former Democrats holding the seats for a gutted GOP. Yeah.. the GOP was DOA, and I agree with others who unlike you, remained in the GOP, what a great opportunity.. As for trail blazing, that was actually done by Matt Heath who is still in the GOP with many more of us now. And my hat is off to Matt, who I respect and appreciate all he did for the RP campaign in NorCal. I guess I got really lucky.

Since the trail you blazed for me is one you now consider crap, what do you think I owe you for that? Now you're anti-GOP.. so unlike Matt, you split and spit. Maybe the trail you blazed is part of the problem? Maybe the resistance I'm dealing with was because of those like you who split leaving a bad impression on the GOP you failed to convert to Liberty in one election?

Happy Thanksgiving.

Is this a troll post? I have

Is this a troll post? I have no idea what this rant is about. Link to article or speech where Doug sells out ron paul or us?

My favorite quote from smudgepot:
"the movement freed your mind, what else does it owe you?"

Not sells out

More of a lack of spirited defense and another bid towards tolerance and unity to those who nakedly sold us out.

And I speak for fringe grassroots. That is all. Those of us who hear "you work for a living, you are working poor like us, why do you support Ron Paul?"

Because freedom doesn't need a paycheck. Freedom is the paycheck.

Wow, I feel like agreeing with you, but I don't know what the deal is. Can you give us the background to the rant? Thanks!

Wead worked for w and they thought wead had a change of heart this election and was sincere. Someday, this movement will evolve and grow enough that everybody will realize that it is up to each and every one of us, as the Constitution outlines. Not msm. Not jesse. Not wead. But it takes time.

I didn't bother to listen to it, but from the responses, I get the gist.

I got that, but is there a link to what he said that changed minds?
